The last time we saw The Real Housewives of Dallas, D’Andra Simmons & Brandi Redmond’s feud threatened to ruin their trip. D’Andra speaking to the press about Brandi’s racism scandal shouldn’t have triggered such a reaction from everyone. Why wouldn’t she comment on it? If she didn’t say anything at all, that could’ve had a negative impact on her. Not only that, but D’Andra said NOTHING negative about Brandi. Girl, bye.
It’s been awhile since Kary Brittingham got herself into trouble with someone in the group. Given that they’re about to head off on another vacation, will Tequila Kary cause another situation? The word bully might be too harsh, but sometimes that’s exactly how it feels with her. She doesn’t know when enough is enough. She pushes and pushes until someone can’t take it anymore. Will that happen yet again on this trip?
Brandi Redmond has had quite the season so far on The Real Housewives of Dallas. After seemingly working through her racism scandal, she’s finding herself at odds with the other women in the weirdest fights ever. She continues to be incredibly awkward around Tiffany Moon out of deep paranoia. Now, she’s in a random feud with D’Andra Simmons whom she believes has somewhat turned her back on Christianity.
For some reason Brandi is choosing the oddest hills to die on, and it’s getting weirder by the episode. For someone who is in tune with ghosts and spirits, it’s strange to watch her pick apart D’Andra for a meditation exercise. There may be a ring of truth to the claims that Brandi is acting like a cafeteria Christian. She’s picking and choosing what parts of her faith she wants to acknowledge. There’s no way she’s going to come back after all of this.
D’Andra Simmons‘ finances are none of my business, but I have always been pretty perplexed by her financial situation. I remember when LeeAnne Locken said she had $200 in her bank account and Brandi Redmond got D’Andra a necklace she wanted but didn’t (or couldn’t?) buy at the time.
We’ve seen D’Andra ask her mom Momma Dee Simmons to cut back her money received from their company. We’ve seen a lot of confusing conversations between them about their company and family finances. This season. D’Andra talked about the drama behind her late father’s second will and how the money she received put her at odds with some family members. It’s all so confusing to me (and again, none of my business), but it seems like D’Andra and her company are doing much better these days.
Tiffany Moon has had to talk Brandi Redmond off a ledge all season on The Real Housewives of Dallas. There’s no reason for it. She’s not responsible for Brandi feeling uncomfortable. Every event turns into a therapy session needed to coddle Brandi’s fragility. That needs to stop. Tiffany has nothing to do with Brandi’s paranoia. That’s all on her.
D’Andra Simmons has showcased her spiritual journey all season of Real Housewives of Dallas. Even though the shaman stuff is a little weird at times, if it’s helping her, that’s what matters. She’s opening herself up to snide comments and criticism from the other women by hosting them for her shaman event. This tends to be a very judgmental group. I don’t think this is going to turn out the way she’s intending.
Thank you Tiffany Moon for revitalizing The Real Housewives of Dallas. There was a huge hole missing with LeeAnne Locken’s exit. A large portion of the Real Housewives of Dallas cast is either uninformed, trying too hard, or plain unlikable. However, Tiffany is BRINGING it in her freshman season. She has a stellar career. She’s cultured and hilarious. Tiffany doesn’t hold her tongue either. She’s the total package for a Housewife.
Kary Brittingham on the other hand has been insufferable. A lot of this is because of her constant attacks and nitpicking over every little thing. She won’t lay off of D’Andra Simmons, and she’s come for Tiffany as well. While she should probably be focusing on her children’s issues, she’s busy complaining about warm tequila shots. Her priorities are clearly in check this season. How long before D’Andra totally snaps and cuts her out?
The Real Housewives of Dallas aren’t letting a global pandemic stop them from DELIVERING. They tackled Brandi Redmond’s racism scandal on last week’s episode. No waiting to address that kerfuffle whatsoever. Right out of the gate, newbie Tiffany Moon is showing Brandi the full weight of her actions. With that in the rear view mirror, we’re going to finally explore the group dynamic without LeeAnne Locken.
Picture the scene, Tiffany is new to the group and eager to showcase her culture to all of the women. What is the best way to do that? FEED EVERYONE CHICKEN FEET. An actual chicken foot. It’s going to be hilarious watching everyone react to something so out of their comfort zone. Can you imagine Kameron Westcott of all people attempting to eat a chicken foot? This is going to be oh so good.
Is everyone ready for the first Real Housewives of Dallas season without LeeAnne Locken? While she may have been a lightning rod for drama on the show, she also brought a lot of heavy baggage. The cast is going to feel so much lighter and fresher without her in the mix. All of the women besides LeeAnne are back this season, and they’re joined by newbie Tiffany Moon. It’ll be curious to see how she addresses Brandi Redmond’s racist video mocking Asian people.
The women are tasked with filming during the global pandemic, and that’s no easy feat. COVID has struck everyone in different ways, so watching these ladies navigate the virus is going to be fascinating. This season has boatloads of potential, and it would be nice to see them climb the hierarchy of Housewives cities. They’ve been at the bottom for far too long. Perhaps with this fresh new vibe, they can show fans that everything truly is bigger in Texas.
Real Housewives Of Dallas came to an end last night in a dramatic and intense reunion focused on whether or not LeeAnne Locken is racist.
We all knew that the bulk of Part 2 was going to be spent on this subject. So after D’Andra Simmons was given a platform to gush about turning around Hard Night Good Morning and salvaging her relationship with Mama Dee, Andy Cohen got right into the matter of LeeAnne’s behavior in Thailand and the racially charged comments she made about Kary Brittingham.
First of all, Andy is FED. UP! I’ve never seen him so combative or out and out confrontational towards a Real Housewife as he was with LeeAnne last night. Of course, LeeAnne was trying to blame production for everything she did, and if there’s one thing Andy despises it’s a Housewife who tries to blame Bravo for her actions. I’m surprised LeeAnne didn’t accuse editing of dubbing the phrase “chirpy Mexican” into her mouth.
