Austen Kroll Confirms That Southern Charm Hasn’t Started Filming Yet

One of the things many fans of Southern Charm know is that the show usually films in the fall. Viewers are treated to the change of seasons in Charleston from sultry late summer days to crisp fall weather. The beautiful scenery is a part of the draw of the show, almost like another cast member. This year, the word is out that the show has not been filming as usual.

No fall filming? And no Kathryn Dennis parading around in eclectic seasonal fashions straight from the racks of Gwynn’s? The cast has been mostly mum on season 7 filming, but some information has leaked out. Shep Rose claimed not to know if there would be another season, but did confirm that the cast was not filming back in October. Co-star Craig Conover recently hinted there would be a season 7, but gave no specifics. While Craig and Shep were a little mysterious about filming, cast member Austen Kroll has spilled a few additional details that sound hopeful for a new season.

Cameran

Southern Charm is all about the boys club and their antics, but there is one woman who has been around since day one: Cameran Eubanks.

She has been a confidante during rough times and she’s not afraid to dish out some tough love when necessary. Her good friend Craig Conover has truly got his act together, sewing pillows and opening restaurants. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Shep Rose. He just keeps inserting his foot into his mouth over and over again. Last season was rough for Shep. The off-season was even worse when he posted that video mocking a homeless woman collecting cans. He made things worse when he defended himself, but eventually apologized. But, was it too little too late? Can Shep redeem himself at this point? Cameran dished on that possibility in an exclusive interview with Reality Tea during BravoCon.

Exclusive BravoCon Interview: Craig Conover Explains Why He Was Meant For Reality TV & Why Is So Excited To Meet Fans At BravoCon

Only one day down and BravoCon has been a fan’s dream come true so far. So many Bravolebrities gathered in one place is unreal.
We even got to talk to a few of them, including Southern Charm star Craig Conover, who was just as excited as the fans were when he heard about the first-ever BravoCon.

Cameran Eubanks Says She Is “Officially Eating Crow” After Giving Craig Conover A Hard Time Over His Pillow Business

Southern Charm’s Craig Conover was a man with a dream. An unusual dream, to be sure. He wanted to make pillows. Craig found something he loved to do and hoped to start a business based on his passion–which is many people’s fantasy, isn’t it? However, Craig wasn’t quite sure how to turn his love of sewing into a business reality, as viewers witnessed over several seasons.

Unfortunately, Craig had many pillow naysayers along the way. Former girlfriend Naomie Olindo was doubtful of his ambition and follow through. Shep Rose made fun of Craig’s lack of direction. Matriarch Patricia Altschul had to put a planned pillow collaboration with Craig on hold because of his inability to complete the work. Co-star Cameran Eubanks has also been hard on Craig over the years. Now, Cameran is making amends for some of the doubt she has expressed about Craig and his pillow dreams.

Craig Conover Hints Southern Charm Returning For Season 7; Is Looking Forward To Having His Career Success Highlighted On Show

Craig Conover had a mostly good season on Southern Charm this year, despite some hiccups along the way. He finally kicked it into gear to take steps to get his online pillow business started, which he later called Sewing Down South. Craig moved on from pining over his ex Naomie Olindo. He also revealed at the cast reunion that some of his erratic behavior during the season was due to his problem with Adderall, which he seems to have conquered.

It was exciting to see the positive changes in Craig after years of stagnation. Of course, we all want updates on what he has been up to since last season. Southern Charm fans know that the show usually films in the fall and it appears the cast is not currently filming. Shep Rose even stated on a recent podcast that he didn’t know if there was going to be another season. Say it ain’t so! But, what is the real truth about a possible season 7 of the show?

Southern Charm Star Shep Rose Raised $25,000 For Bahamas Hurricane Tragedy

Finally some good news regarding Shep Rose. And boy does he need it. Last year, fans of Southern Charm saw a more sinister side of Shep. He engaged in a one-man battle with Austen Kroll’s latest paramour because she rejected him wouldn’t take his crap. He further maligned his buddy’s life by bringing two escorts women Austen had previously not hooked up with to a party. If that wasn’t enough, Shep may or may not have passed an STD along to Danni Baird back in the day. Of course he felt the need to share this with loose-lipped Austen. Danni, who literally does nothing to anyone, suffered in the fallout of that alleged medical mishap.

After filming wrapped Shep’s reputation didn’t improve. He received a great deal of valid backlash after shaming a homeless woman on social media. That stupid stunt caused Shep to delete his Twitter and crawl into a cocoon of shame. Thankfully, Shep’s off-camera life now seems to be in an upswing. After the Bahamas was basically leveled in the wake of Hurricane Dorian, Shep actually stepped in to help. Let’s hope this positive move is the first step on his redemption tour.

Has Southern Charm Been Cancelled? Shep Rose Says They Are Not Filming; Doesn’t Know If There Will Be Another Season

Well, well, what do we have here? Have we lost another Bravo show? This is the time of year Southern Charm is in production, yet word on the street is no one is filming. The Charleston show was knee-deep in the swamps last season. We had Austen Kroll thinking he was Lady Chatterley’s Lover. Then there was the STD scandal, courtesy of Austen’s then-girlfriend, Madison LeCroy. And of course, Kathryn Dennis did not disappoint in her continued struggle to navigate motherhood and sobriety.

So what gives? We haven’t heard any rumblings about the show being axed and there is seemingly no reason why cameras shouldn’t be rolling. Unless Bravo and Haymaker are too involved with active lawsuits brought on by former cast members. Is it possible we have seen the end of Craig Conover’s pillow making empire? Will viewers be left hanging on the threads of Shep Rose’s non-existent love life? In a new interview, Shep gives an update on the future of Southern Charm. If there is a future.

Southern Charm’s Craig Conover Raises $20,000 For Hurricane Relief

Can you believe it has been over a month since the finale of Southern Charm? Although it might not have been the most exciting season, it was still enjoyable spending time with the Charleston gang. We watched Cameran Eubanks grow into motherhood. Kathryn Dennis mostly laid low, in the midst of an ugly custody battle with ex Thomas Ravenel. Austen Kroll spent the season in relationship drama with Madison Lecroy. And Shep Rose, well, he somehow morphed into the world’s oldest, angriest frat boy.

Craig Conover had his share of ups and downs during Season 6. He began to move on from ex Naomie Olindo, but later revealed during the reunion that he had been battling a problem with Adderall. Despite Craig’s issues, he finally started to move forward with his pillow business, Sewing Down South. It was great to see him start to come into his own. Craig also just announced another venture into business, Mesu, a Mexican-sushi fusion restaurant in Charleston.
