Leave it to the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills to drag out a fight from two years ago, along with a ghost of Housewives past to celebrate Halloween, and also because well, without Lisa Vanderpump what else do they have to talk about? I mean they have stuff to talk about, they just won’t.
It’s the final morning in Hawaii, the day after Camille Grammer tied the knot a second time, and finally, at long last, we get our first sighting of The Agency apparel. I’ve been waiting all of the Hawaii trip – looking for swim trunks, hats, custom-ordered shot glasses, a bridesmaids gown… and on the last breakfast Mauricio Umansky finally just shows up to brunch wearing an Agency t-shirt.
Camille Grammer has come back in a big way on this season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She has had a huge presence on the show and it is mystifying why she is not on full-time Housewife status. I assume her status might have been her choice as producers probably would have jumped at the chance to have her back full-time.
We have been treated to Camille at her snarkiest this season, savagely trashing co-stars Lisa Vanderpump and Teddi Mellencamp-Arroyave. And last week’s episode of the show was all about Camille’s beautiful wedding to David C. Meyer. She looked gorgeous and the wedding setting in Hawaii was stunning. Behind the scenes, however, not everything was as perfect as it appeared as Camille has revealed that not everyone was happy with her remarriage.
Congratulations Camille Grammer – you’ve officially broken free of Kelsey and restarted your life with a new man by getting married on last night’s Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. Gorgeous wedding! Too bad you dragged your way back Kelsey personality along with you for the ride in the clown car to David C. Meyer.
Oh, a lie detector test. Is that what we’re doing now instead of printing out 99 point font textestessss to prove our innocence? I feel like I need to write this portion of the recap in Comic Sans font, because surely this must be some British Humor! Now I’m still team Lisa Vanderpump, but lady – I cannot sit back and allow John Sessa to carry the Pom-Shield and become the defacto Kyle Richards: professional sidekick, stand-in kitchen remodel viewer, and mouthpiece of menace. John Sessa (and his barely buttoned shirt) needs to stick to training puppies to bite PK and leave the Housewives stuff to the big dogs.
For all you long time Beverly Hills fans, isn’t it great to see more of Camille Grammer this year? Camille shot out of the reality show cannon during Season 1 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a woman with a take-no-prisoners attitude. She was snarky, unfiltered, elitist and more than a tad mean. You know-the perfect Housewife! And her almost comical feud with Kyle Richards was a driving force during the first season of the show.
After a humbling and humiliating public divorce from Kelsey Grammer-and maybe after seeing the public backlash to her haughty ways, Camille seemed to be a changed woman. She was a little kinder, a little gentler and was not nearly as snide or sarcastic after Season 1. Was this a new Camille? Or was she just better able to hide her mean girl ways to protect her public image? Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave might vote for option number two and she is not shy about telling us why.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer has just received some good news. And she deserves it. Viewers watched her ugly divorce from actor Kelsey Grammer play out Season 1. She was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in 2013. And Camille recently lost her Malibu home in the Woolsey fire. That had to be very traumatic.
In October 2013, Camille obtained a restraining order against her then-boyfriend, Dimitri Charalambopoulos. Camille alleged that Dimitri physically abused her in a hotel room while she was recuperating from a hysterectomy.
Isn’t it great to be seeing more of Camille Grammer this season on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? She always adds a little something extra to the show. A bit of levity when things get crazy. And just the right amount of snark. Hopefully, Bravo will share some of her recent wedding to David C. Meyer on an upcoming episode. It is nice to watch Camille experiencing some joy, as her life has often been challenging since becoming a Housewife.
Camille has faced many adversities over the past nine seasons of Beverly Hills, including an ugly divorce from Kelsey Grammer, a battle with cancer and the recent loss of her home in the Woolsey Fire in Malibu. One sensitive matter that has not come up in the media lately is Camille’s alleged assault by then-boyfriend Dimitri Charalambopoulos in 2013. Now, Camille is asking for a media ban when the case finally goes to trial next month.
When you think of Malibu, what comes to mind? Probably beautiful beaches, expensive real estate and the chance of running into a celebrity at the grocery store. Some of the wealthiest people in the world call Malibu their home. As an occasional visitor to Malibu myself, I know that the community is a little bit of paradise.
But paradise can come at a cost, as Malibu is particularly vulnerable to natural disasters. Last November, Malibu took a major hit when the Woolsey fire tore through the city. More than 400 homes were lost. Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Eileen Davidson had fire scorch her gates, but her home was saved. Camille Grammer was not so lucky, as her home was destroyed.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer’s life has been a mixture of joy and sadness. Camille wed David C. Meyer in Hawaii in October of 2018.
Castmates Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, Dorit Kemsley, and Lisa Rinna attended the wedding. Kyle Richards served as one of her bridesmaids. Since they were bitter rivals in Season 1, their current friendship is a
miracle delightful surprise.
