You guys. It’s almost like finding love on the internet from another hemisphere and then filming it all for clout doesn’t end it happiness! This season of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way has been the hottest mess. Well except for Kenneth Niedermeier and Armando Rubio. But seriously, the number of women who toted their mothers across the globe to yell at their baby daddies is two too many. I’m looking at you, Ariela Weinberg and Deavan Clegg. I’m guessing everyone else watching this show is having flashbacks to *that* relationship. You know, the one where everyone saw the chaos but you.
Deavan and Jihoon Lee are one of the extra tragic couples who have both sets of parents involved. A necessary evil when your job is selling stolen cell phones, I guess. Economic, sure. But sadly for our dear Jihoon, it’s not exactly a marital panty-dropper to constantly ask your mommy for cash. Especially while your wife has to crowd source boob-job money. Yea. That happened.
I swear 90 Day Fiance The Other Way should change its name to ‘People Miserable in Other Countries’. It seems like virtually no one on this show is truly happy with the exception of maybe one couple. Now, I am not complaining, their issues are what keep this shit show alive. I only wish I could understand why some of these people even made the move. It doesn’t seem like they are willing to give up the comforts they have come to know in the United States.
Ariela Weinberg hits her breaking point. Deavan Clegg’s mom, Elicia doesn’t want to leave Korea without her. Armando Rubio prepares for Kenneth Niedermeier and his family to meet. Brittany Banks continues to lie to Yazan Abo Horira. Tim drops a bomb on Melyza. Sumit goes to confront his parents about Jenny Slatten. Let’s get straight to the recap!
Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way showed the Americans struggle to get adjusted to their new lives in a new country. For most, their significant other’s family is complicating a relationship that is already on life support. I couldn’t imagine trying to make things work someone I barely know while battling with a language barrier. I’m sorry, but I’m tired of watching them break out that translator device, only for it to cause further confusion. Tim Clarkson is the only one who has even attempted to learn the language of country he moved to.
Armando Rubio‘s first attempt at PDA ends badly. Ariela Weinberg questions her decision to live in Ethiopia after her mother leaves. Deavan Clegg attempts to improve her relationship with Jihoon Lee ‘s mom. Tim has a troubling job interview. Brittany Banks and Yazan Abo Horira clash over her social media. Let’s get straight to the recap!
Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way was a lot, to say the least. After watching the episode, I feel like I need counseling as well. Almost everyone had an issue that would require a stiff drink or the help of a mediator. None of these relationships seem to be in great standing with their families at this point.
Deavan Clegg ‘s mother unleashes her fury on Jihoon Lee after he makes mistake that could have had terrible consequences. Sumit’s parents may be ready to meet Jenny Slatten. Kenneth Niedermeier pressures Armando Rubio to announce their engagement to his family. Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre clash over religion. Brittany Banks is terrified to face Yazan Abo Horira‘s parents again. Let’s get straight to 90 Day Fiance The Other Way the recap!
Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way proved that these people aren’t complete lost causes (all the time). I guess there is hope for them to grow as couples or individually. At least they can pretend to be mature and take accountability on occasion. Keep in mind that everything I am saying is subject to change. Next week I could think everyone is doomed, once again. Only time will tell how long this enlightened version of some of the cast will last.
Kenneth Niedermeier wants Armando Rubio to answer an important question. Tim Clarkson braces for a sit-down with Melyza Zeta‘s father. Yazan Abo Horira gives Brittany Banks an ultimatum. Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee move into their new apartment. Let’s get straight to the 90 Day Fiance The Other Way recap!
90 Day Fiance The Other Way couple Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee have had a rough go this season. The problem that keeps coming up over and over again is Jihoon’s lack of responsibility when it comes to his family. Either he is too lazy to get a job or he just won’t grow up enough to recognize he has others to take care of. Namely, his wife and kids. To top it off, they recently had some online drama in which Jihoon unfollowed Deavan.
It’s no wonder that Deavan, who is reportedly back in the U.S. from South Korea, might be feeling a tad insecure. Think about it – her husband sucks and she’s basically broke because of him.
Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way was filled with family meetings and suspicion. When entering into any relationship, you are agreeing to also interact with your partner’s family. With this cast, it’s especially important because they will need as support as they can get after leaving everything they know behind.
Biniyam Shibre‘s family grills Ariela Weinberg about her commitment to staying in Ethiopia. Deavan Clegg gives Jihoon Lee a shocking ultimatum. Tim seeks forgiveness from Melyza‘s mom. Sumit reaches out to his brother after running out of options. Let’s get straight to the recap!
In the famous words on Tyra Banks, “I was rooting for you! We were all rooting for you!” That’s exactly what I would say to 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way star, Jihoon Lee. Once again, Jihoon has seriously screwed the pooch. He hasn’t gotten a real job and he’s reduced to giving any money he does make to his mother so she can manage it. Or pay her back from all the money he borrowed from her. It’s kind of unclear but either way, YIKES. It’s actually shocking that wife Deavan Clegg has stuck around as long as she has.
But, as we’ve seen before, a lot of 90 Day Fiance couples will do anything for
TV love. So for now, Deavan remains in South Korea, with two kids, a bum husband and a crappy apartment to live in. Oh and don’t forget the trusty translator to mediate their issues. That thing is about as useless as Jihoon himself.
