90 Day Fiancé The Other Way Recap: Blind Trust

Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Waymade it clear that most of these people don’t trust their significant othersWhat is the point of leaving all your comfort at home to go to another country and be miserable? Sorry, give me air conditioning and someone I can easily locate. These people are ridiculous! One couple gets into a huge fight while home shopping. Meanwhile, another comes to the realization that they are no longer in America. I am reporting for petty duty and hope you all will join me.  It’s about time that we get to the bottom of some things.

It’s the day of the wedding and Tiffany Franco is stressed out wondering if her fiance, Ronald Smith will return from picking up her dad. Let’s hope Relapse Ronnie doesn’t rear his ugly so soon. I don’t know why Tiffany would risk Ronald’s sobriety just to keep his secret from her dad. Luckily Ronald decides to save his urges for another day and accomplishes his mission. Girl… you know as soon as you get on his nerves he will find his way into that casino again.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Recap: Rolling the Dice

Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way, was packed with revelations. Several of the couples have to face some hard facts about their relationships. Ronald Smith confronted his demons sooner than he expected. Laura Jallali offended Aladin Jallali in a BIG way. Corey realized that he and Evelin have two very different visions for their future. Sumit made a difficult decision that leaves Jenny reeling. Grab your stone cocktail and let’s start judging!

Paul Staehle and Karine Staehle finally arrived at her family home in the amazon after their five-day voyage at sea. Not to be a first world snob but…. Yea I don’t think I would give up my little conveniences for some of these small towns in these countries. Paul is extremely nervous about living with Karine’s family.  Maybe the fact that he can only communicate via a phone app could have something to do with it. Then you add the fact he has to reveal to he is considered a terrorist, it’s a wonder that he hasn’t had full-blownwn anxiety attack. The man walks around with mosquito nets and bulletproof baby bags, they shouldn’t be too shocked.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Recap: Ripped Apart

On last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way, we saw how the Americans are adjusting to life in their significant other’s countries. I have to say most aren’t faring well. Is the prerequisite for meeting and marrying a person in a short amount of time from another country that you don’t ask any questions? I swear most of these people are shocked by the conditions of their new homes. Did you not video chat or do any research? Delusional and unprepared isn’t a good mix. Let’s break down this episode and the lives of naive and restless.

Tiffany Franco and her son, Daniel are still in South Africa. After exploring, Tiffany and Ronald Smith are shocked Daniel wants to go back to the US. Hmmm…. Maybe it’s because you told him that he could be kidnapped and could never use electronics in public. Yea, I think that would be enough for most 8-year-olds to be done with any place. Tiffany, maybe you should have really thought about how this move would affect your son. While at dinner, Daniel questions why Ronald can’t just come to America. He realizes very quickly his mother is hiding something from him. Little does he know his “dad” has a criminal history and addiction problems. SMH….

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Recap: Chickening Out

On last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way, we finally got to see the backlash from Relapse Ronnie’s bachelor party. I have to admit I was underwhelmed by Tiffany Franco’s reaction to Ronald Smith’s confession.  Corey takes several losses not only during this episode, but in his relationship in general. His first “L” is for leaving everything for a conniving EVIL woman. The second “L” is leaving his comfortable lifestyle for a life he may never adapt to in that small town. Lastly, and most important Evelin’s entire family knows Corey gave up everything for a woman who DOESN’T want to marry him. Whew, Chile the naivety of it all. SMH…

Despite Evelin being so evil, her grandmother is sweet as pie. She takes Corey to a chicken farm shack to pick out a fresh chicken for dinner. Corey freaks out when he sees the proprietor of the business decapitate and skin the chicken in front of him. Evelin is embarrassed that Corey was upset watching the chicken killed. Ugh… what did she want him to do, laugh? She knows where he is from he goes to the grocery store and doesn’t take part in the processing fresh meat.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Recap: Broken Promises

On last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way, Tiffany Franco and Ronald Smith prepared for their upcoming nuptials. Their family and friends plan individual parties for them to celebrate. Let’s just say, they are on opposite ends of the spectrum. Can you guess who had a wild night and who had a peaceful gathering?

If you’re thinking the person who just came out of rehab had the calm night… YOU ARE WRONG! I hate to say it, but I am not shocked at all. In fact, things went just as I expected. Let’s get into the recap to find out who else is ruining their lives for our entertainment.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Recap: Another World

On last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way, we finally learned a little more about Aladdin and Laura’s relationship. It seems that one of them turns into the green-eyed monster whenever they start to feel insecure. Can you guess who? Okay, who am I kidding? We all know Aladdin isn’t worried about another man wanting Laura. I couldn’t even write that without laughing…. Corey also fights through the mean streets of Ecuador to get to his gold-digging boo, Evelin. I’m sorry but I gave up everything and was treated like that upon arrival, we would be done.

Do you remember that moment you realized you made a bad life-changing decision? Well, Corey is definitely having that moment. This fool gave up everything in the US and is currently funding businesses in Evelin’s name. He also took 3 planes and 2 buses only to arrive to find out EVILin couldn’t be bothered to pick him up. It was at this very moment, he knew…. He f%#%* up.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Recap: No Looking Back

On last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way, there were some interesting developments. We finally got to meet the final couple Jihoon and Deavan, who were introduced on this episode. Also, one of the American hopefuls is stranded at the airport. The person they gave up everything for didn’t feel like coming to get them.

Wow…. Am I the only one who would have taken that as confirmation that this isn’t a good decision? Sometimes when everything in you screams you are making a mistake, you should listen! Sometimes I almost wish I was less cynical, but when I see naivety like this, I appreciate its benefits.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Recap: Big Expectations

On last night’s episode of 90-Day Fiance The Other Way, Sumit had Jenny come all the way from the US, despite knowing his family wouldn’t accept her. Not only that, he has to lie to them to sneak away when she arrives. Why wait until the day that your girlfriend is coming to talk to your family? Tsk, tsk, tsk… I don’t see this going well, at all. Honestly, I envision his family tying him down to a chair to stop him from embarking on his new non-traditional life with his American love. I use the word “love” lightly because I still sense a scam in the works. I could be wrong… hell, I hope I am wrong… Jenny’s childlike optimism makes me just want to protect her heart. One part of me wants her love story to come true, but the realist in me just doesn’t see it happening. Sigh!

Jenny nervously awaits her love, Summit, to arrive at the airport to begin their love story. Despite him arriving an hour late, Jenny is smitten. I guess he found a way to escape the interrogation at his parent’s home. To Jenny’s surprise, Sumit reveals that there is no hot water. Ummm… seems like that is a question you may have wanted to ask beforehand. The apartment is actually pretty nice, but the  $350 a month apartment is considered expensive in India. Sumit doesn’t know how long he will be able to afford it. Hmmmm…. and here is when the scamation (yes, that is a made-up word.) begins. One day he can’t afford rent and the next Jenny is paying for his new upgraded lifestyle.
