I had no idea that there was a Mother of the Year Award in the fashion industry, but I’m not really surprised that Yolanda Hadid just won it. I mean, her daughters Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid are supermodels and her son Anwar Hadid is a model as well. Who else has birthed that many top models?
Sure, I have no idea who else would actually be in the running for this kind of award, but apparently is a thing at the Fashion Los Angeles awards. Sure, I’ve never heard of that either, but I’m no fashion expert.
I figured that Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin’sdaughter Delilah Belle Hamlin was set to join the ranks of the other Real Housewives kids who have become famous models and opting to skip the school route, but she has applied to colleges just like other normal high-schoolers.
I have no idea if she will attend college or if she just applied to keep her options open while she works on her modeling career, but Lisa shared some nice news in a recent Instagram post.
Happy pre-Friday! Last night brought out a slew of familiar Real Housewives of Beverly Hills faces to Venice Beach. In the photo above, Lisa Rinna and her daughters, Delilah Belle Hamlin and Amelia Grey Hamlin attended the TommyLand Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2017 Fashion Show, which celebrated Gigi Hadid‘s new capsule collection.
Also spotted there to support Gigi was her mom, Yolanda Hadid(who was spotted posing with Lady Gaga), former stepfather David Foster, dad Mohamed Hadid and his fiance Shiva Safai and of course, sister Bella Hadid, who also walked in the show.
New York Fashion Week is in full swing and, as per usual, the reality TV stars never miss an opportunity to be photographed. Lucky us. 😉
Above: former (maybe?do I dare dream?) Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes was chosen by Malan Breton to close out his show, wearing a dress worth over ONE MILLION dollars. Why NeNe? “She embodies all women,” gushed Malan. “She really does. I think from my fanbase and other people that I know, she’s the one that’s constantly motivating women to be confident, to be who they are. And, you know, I love the Housewives franchise; I’m friends with so many of them. NeNe’s a very strong person and knows who she is. People admire her so much. For me, as a designer for women, it’s very important to me that women know who they are when they wear these pieces.”
It’s always nice to see celebrities using social media for a cause greater than themselves and that’s what Lisa Rinna and her daughters Delilah Belle Hamlin and Amelia Hamlin are doing. The mother daughter trio has united to be a part of a the Be Brave Be You campaign.
Be Brave Be You strives to “inspire and educate tolerance, acceptance, and bravery.” This is an important message to spread, and it is nice to see that the cause bridges different generations.
