Happy New Year! The very last Real Housewives Of Atlanta of 2018 was an episode full of goodbyes, family, and rebirths but next week, once we’re firmly ensconced in 2019 the fighting resumes!
Cynthia Bailey is sending Noelle off to Howard University where she’ll be studying dentistry. Days before Noelle is supposed to leave the serenity of Lake Bailey, right in the middle of her going away party, she starts having a panic attack. All totally normal except for the cameras filming as Noelle as slumped on the ground in fetal position sobbing into Cynthia’s lap.
Once again, friendships are being shaken up on Season 11 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta!NeNe Leakes is ready to embrace an old enemy and re-awaken drama with someone who is like a little sister to her.
Even though they’ve publicly feuded, many reality TV stars gathered with family for Christmas. Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Joe Gorga celebrated Christmas Eve together. But what kind of cookies did they eat? Did Melissa bring some sprinkle cookies? Or did Teresa insist on eating pignoli cookies? Hopefully, they didn’t argue about desserts this year.
On last night’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta the women were still in Destin, FL. With everyone mostly getting along, NeNe Leakes had to invent shady games to try and provoke arguments. Even that didn’t really work!
I can’t say I mind the dynamic of RHOA this season. I know people are already complaining that it’s boring and dry. But, we all saw NeNe attempting to create issues with newbie Tanya Sam whom she actually brought onto the show as her friend. However, so far I’m enjoying the light shade and goofy camaraderie. It actually reminds of early seasons, before people were twirling up messes and getting dragged across reunion stages by their mostly real hair. I’m not blaming Kenya Moore, I just think that a group of women who conceivably know each other, have longtime roots in the area, and mostly get along provides a lot more authentic drama.
On last night’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta a couple’s trip turned into a girl’s trip which means people squabbling over petty things like its their job. Oh wait, on this show it is!
Porsha Williams is newly pregnant and realizes she has to work to support this baby! At the Original Hot Dog Factory, that is. She is living the dream – working side by side with her hot dog of a man, Dennis McKinley, while carrying his bun in her oven. This little pork party is broken up by Dennis’s mother “Mama G” who has all eyes on Porsha. Especially her work ethic!
Instead of challenging the OG, Eva Marcille has gone out of her way to suck up to be friends with NeNe Leakes. She even asked NeNe to speak at her wedding reception, which I had no idea was even a thing. Isn’t that something a Maid of Honor or bridesmaid would do? Why not ask NeNe to be an actual member of the wedding party?
If she wants to be on NeNe’s good side, asking her for advice is a good move to make. However, Eva committed a major mistake when she did not invite NeNe to her bachelorette party and she posted about it on social media. That’s a total amateur move. Was it an error? Or was she low key trying to turn the snub into a Real Housewives of Atlanta storyline?
After joking that her baby “doesn’t get out of bed for less than $1 million a day,” Kenya Moore finally released photos of her daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly. She did share those first photos exclusively with her Instagram followers. Instead, Kenya and Marc Daly’sdaughter had a full-on photo shoot with People.
Now that the cat is out of the bag, or the baby is out of the crib (for that presumably high paying photo shoot), Kenya has shared several photos on Instagram. Sadly, Kenya is not a Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member anymore. The fans did not get to see Kenya’s pregnancy or any of Brooklyn’s first moments. However, she did get a visit from two Atlanta Housewives.
So she called her out in a blog post. Ironically enough, the blog post was a series of NeNe’s answers to questions. No one ever asked about Kandi, but NeNe just added in a note about Kandi on her own. She had time that day.
