The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star started a GoFundMe page for Howard student De’Juae Leathers, who is slated to be a sophomore this coming school year but cannot afford the hefty tuition after her internship failed to pay.
First of all Andy says he “loved” that all the ladies decided together to wear white to the reunion. “It was not my decision but I loved it,” he declared.
What he does not love is learning that Kenya called him “Mandy” and an “ass” in a recent tweet. In Andy’s visibly shocked reaction he exclaims, “Did Kenya call me ‘Mandy’ on Twitter?!?!” Yes, she did. “Well… on the one hand it’s offensive, but on the other hand it is ‘MAN-dy.’”
“Some people love to criticize me for having an opinion about Phaedra and Apollo or anyone else on the show at this point, as if somehow it is never any of my business. Despite the fact that this is a show where we discuss our issues, thoughts, and observations of one another,” said Kenya. “We may not agree, but I am entitled to and allowed to provide my input. We may not agree, however, no one and nothing is off limits when the issues are put out there for public consumption.” I agree. Blogs about the episode are part of the HWs job.
In real time, Kenya‘s birthday was Saturday. Her blog suggests that she spent it with a new love interest. “This week has been phenomenal. I took two days to celebrate my birthday. I have to say, my favorite was a couple’s massage and stimulating dinner with new people. To be honest, I feel like my life is taking a turn for the better. I think forgiveness has been key. Not only forgiving others who have wronged me, but also forgiving myself for the wrong I’ve done as well. Through my personal journey my world and heart have expanded and I’m growing every day. With that said, I’m finally able to receive and attract love the way I have always wanted.”
Kenya Moore is never one to mince words but when it comes to donations to Detroit Public Schools she is going IN on co-star NeNe Leakes for failing to cough up her $20,000 donation!
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta starsaysNeNe is pissing her off by failing to meet her obligation to Detroit Public Schools all because she has a vendetta against her. Kenya seems to think shaming her co-star into it will force her to write that check. “Clearly she has no intention of writing the check. I think it really shows the type of person she is,” Kenya states.
On Phaedra: “IF IT LOOKS LIKE A FRAUD, LIES LIKE A FRAUD, ACTS LIKE A FRAUD — IT MUST BE A FRAUD. No successful attorney or woman with any decorum should behave the way Phaedra does. No outstanding Christian should repeatedly call another woman a whore and be unapologetic about it. No respected attorney should slander and defame someone in the media without any evidence or facts. No “Southern Belle” or woman with class or respect for herself should visit a man in a halfway house at 3am.”
Apollo Nida‘s legal issues were the main focus of the Real Housewives of Atlanta season premiere, but we did get to see little bits of what the other cast members have been up to since the reunion. Cynthia Bailey, who’s on the hunt for a new best friend, followed the scent of loneliness and ended up on Kenya Moore‘s doorstep.
I imagined Cynthia saying to herself, ‘I shall call her Krazy, and she shall be mine, and she shall be my Krazy.’ HaHa. Don’t get me wrong, though, Kenya‘s crazy is the only reason I watch RHOA. Kenya took to her blog to share her thoughts on the season premiere. Including titles: RIP Baby Velvet, Detroit vs. Everybody Else, Ignorance is not a Handicap, Promise to Detroit Children, and Love Me or Hate Me. So dramatic. So Kenya. Here we go.
Here’s our photo of the day! Kenya Moore took to instagram tonight to show off her $20,000 check made out to Detroit Public Schools Foundation. Kenya canceled a planned event to give the organization the money, but it looks like she does have the check ready to go. The Real Housewives of Atlantastar writes, “I’m proud to be able to give back and keep my promise to the Detroit public schools foundation to donate $20,000. Detroit is a resilient city and so am I. I will continue to shine despite the people who want to see me fail or try to turn my positivity in to negativity. See you soon Detroit! #igotyomoney #kenyalovesthekids #twirlsawayhaters.”
