Porsha Williams has managed to create more drama in the past 24 hours than what went on throughout the entire thirteenth season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. And this time, it doesn’t even involve Bolo (shocker). P broke the internet by revealing that she’s in a romantic relationship with Simon Guobadia. Yes, that would be Falynn Guobadia’s very recent ex.
If you have a look on your face that looks like Porsha’s when she saw Bolo’s thang for the first time, you’re definitely not alone. Falynn came onto RHOA as a FRIEND-OF PORSHA’S. And while the majority of the drama surrounding her involved being taunted by fellow newbie LaToya Ali, this is a whole other level of breaking girl code. I’d do anything to hear what new besties Marlo Hampton and Kenya Moore have to say about this. And honestly, Kandi Burruss and Don Juan probably have plenty of thoughts as well. Now Drew Sidora’s take, on the other hand, I can live without.
FINALLY The Real Housewives of Atlanta is looking more like the show we’ve always loved. In one episode, a dry and drab season picked up and piqued everyone’s curiosity. The controversy surrounding Bolo the stripper and whom he did or did not have sex with is great television. Kenya Moore is on a mission to figure out who was engaging in freak hoe behavior with this man. She’s determined to uncover the truth by any means necessary.
It feels obvious that Porsha Williams was one of the women. Good for her! She’s currently single and out living her best life. There’s no shame in her game, and there shouldn’t be. However, one of these married/engaged women is out here lying through their teeth. Was it Drew Sidora? Did she exact revenge for her husband Ralph Pittman’s vague Tampa trip? Perhaps it was Tanya Sam. Nobody is THAT perfect. We see through the façade.
It is nerve-wracking to be an “OG” Housewife right now. Before, that was the plum position to have. Now it makes you a target for a demotion, or being fired. Kandi Burruss, who joined Real Housewives of Atlanta in Season 2, is concerned about losing her full-time gig.
Lisa Vanderpump decided to quit Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Real Housewives of Orange County “OG”’s Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge decided to leave the show after being offered positions as “Friends of the Housewives” for next season.
On Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss is all about growing her businesses. She has so many staff members that they’ve all become fixtures on the show at this point. She has always prioritized getting that coin, but this past weekend she was all about the turn-up.
Kandi went to Las Vegas with her husband Todd Tucker, friend of the Atlanta Housewives Shamea Morton, her right-hand man Don Juan, and a bunch of her other friends. Where were the other Atlanta Housewives? Maybe Kandi just wanted to avoid the drama and focus on a good time without the dinner party confrontations. Maybe they were all invited, but their schedules were full. Who knows. Kandi and her crew had a fun time nonetheless.
This week’s episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta featured a lavish party honoring Kandi Burruss’ Essence magazine cover, but it was Cynthia Bailey’s new beau who got the most screen time. To be honest, don’t we all think that’s his goal? Fifty Cynt deserves the best, so this guy Will Jones had better be on the up and up. People don’t get as riled up as he did over a minor rumor or simple misunderstanding. He clearly got caught in a lie. Perhaps he didn’t want to go into the gory details with Cynthia if the relationship with this other chick ended badly. Maybe he didn’t think it was as serious as it appeared to newbie Eva Marcille. In any event, his reaction would have me more concerned about whether he’s boyfriend material as opposed to whether he may have been seeing someone when he first met Cynthia. Am I right?
But, I digress (shocking, I know!). This post isn’t about Will Jones. It’s about the most underrated RHOA character and his amazing ability to throw shade. Don Juan was on point with dig at Porsha Williams. She needs to quit pretending like she had no involvement in those horrific allegations against Kandi and give the woman some space. She is forcing the issue, and it is only making things more awkward. Thankfully, it’s Don Juan to the rescue!
I don’t know why I’m taking it personally, but the breakdown of Kandi Burruss’ and Phaedra Parks’ friendship feels like the end of an era in some sort of cosmic way! The real tragedy is how much these two Real Housewives of Atlanta stars still care about each other, but can’t seem to find common ground. And how a
felon man ultimately came between them (thanks, Apollo!).
Kandi admits that she gets emotional when discussing her disintegrating friendship with Phaedra, as she did on part one of the RHOA reunion. “I get frustrated having these conversations in front of everyone. I do care about our friendship. That’s why I’m emotional about it. And because I care, I still won’t say certain things that would make her look bad. Even though I feel like I’ve been made to look like the bad guy.”

Kandi Burruss is always caught between a rock in a hard place! Just when Mama Joyce finally starts liking Todd, there’s drama between Kandi’s manager (and close friend) Don Juan, and her co-star and sometimes-buddy Phaedra Parks!
Phaedra and Todd have been at odds over money Phaedra reportedly owes him for a pregnancy workout video they made which was never released. Phaedra admitted to owing Todd the remaining $5k, but in a preview on the Bravo website the Real Housewives Of Atlanta star also argues she’s never SEEN proof of what Todd’s gotten done so far! Phaedra paid him $30k already.
