I’m not gonna name names, but there are a lot of reality stars who think they’re a way bigger deal than they actually are. That’s not because I’m trying to be classy. It’s just because there are too many reality TV cast members with big egos and an inflated sense of importance.
OK, OK. Twist my arm. I’ll mention one of those people. Real Housewives of Atlanta OG NeNe Leakes has been a polarizing figure. NeNe has acted like she is too good for the show that made her famous and gave her all that money she brags about. She even left RHOA for a little bit to pursue some other opportunities. There’s no doubt that NeNe was hustling for those checks. She had a guest role on Glee. She acted in a show called The New Normal, which was canceled. NeNe appeared on Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice. To be honest, I have no specific memories of NeNe on that show. However, who could ever forget NeNe bragging to Sheree Whitfield about her “Trump check” on RHOA?

It is no secret that family is key to the stars of Real Housewives of New Jersey. No other franchise places such an emphasis on loyalty. Joe Giudice’s daughters are living up to that example. As for Joe’s wife, Teresa Giudice? Not so much. She made it official that she and Joe will divorce if he is deported. I am sure that her decision has nothing to do with the younger man that she has been spotted holding hands with. What happened to boasting about the joys of old-school marriage, Teresa?
Joe served 41 months in prison for bankruptcy and bank fraud. His wife, Teresa, also went away
to prison to camp for nearly one year. Joe was released and taken into custody by ICE after he completed his prison term in March. For some reason, Joe never became a United States citizen, even though the rest of his family did. His appeal to stop his deportation to Italy was denied by the Board of Immigration Appeals on April 6, 2019.
We all know that many Housewife storylines play out during a single season and are never addressed again as they are resolved, ignored or forgotten. That is not the case, however, for the Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Joe Giudice and his legal problems. Joe was released from prison in March after serving 41 months for bank and bankruptcy fraud. And immediately following his release, he was taken into custody by ICE on immigration issues, as he never became an American citizen, despite living in the country for over 40 years.
On April 6, 2019, Joe’s appeal with the Board of Immigration Appeals was denied. He is now facing deportation back to Italy if his recently filed stay with the Third Circuit Court of Appeals is also denied. All of this must be very sad and stressful for the Giudice family, no matter how you may feel about them. One member of the family, wild-child Milania Giudice, recently made a very public plea for support for her father so he can remain in the U.S. with his family-and she is even asking for help from none other than President Donald Trump.
Viewers have been Keeping Up With the Kardashians, literally, for 16 seasons-– seasons. That’s because the first family of reality television keeps delivering the dramatic goods. This includes a whole new generation of adorable Kardashians. It’s hard to believe this empire was spawned by a sex tape that featured the first among equals Kim Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend Ray J.
A tape that Kim’s genius momager Kris Jenner used to turn water into wine when she shopped around their reality show. It seems another lifetime ago. Now the youngest sibling, Kylie Jenner is a mom and a billionaire. Almost as incredibly, Kim, who never graduated from college, is studying to become a lawyer!
Even though Real Housewives of New Jersey doesn’t return for Season 9 until November 7, there is already drama, but this time it’s away from the cameras. A judge declared that Teresa Giudice’s husband Joe Giudice will be deported to Italy after he finishes up his prison sentence in March 2019.
Usually, Andy Cohen tries to remain impartial when it comes to the Bravolebrities, but even he couldn’t help reacting to the shocking news of Joe Giudice’s deportation.
