It’s a new dawn on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills! Kyle Richards kaftans became legit, debuting at NY Fashion Week. Erika Jayne is trying a new way to take heat off her life – being friends with the women. Lisa Rinna is still lecturing everyone about owning it, while not owning that she is overjoyed to be No 1 Lisa. Also, we met new cast members Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke. So far I love them both!
All the ladies are in NYC for Kyle’s fashion show. One day before Kyle hasn’t even seen most of the collection she so-called designed. She calls Dorit Kemsley in a blind panic because she has no idea what do to prepare for a runway show. Like how to present the collection cohesively? How does one figure out who wears what? Dorit is appalled that Kyle has a line that she basically slapped her name on. Um, isn’t that what Dorit just finished Beverly Beach mediation over?
After that Real Housewives of New York Season 12 premiere put Bethenny Frankel on blast for leaving, I can’t help wondering if Lisa Vanderpump will get the same treatment when Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns tonight.
Interestingly enough, RHOBH isn’t even about Beverly Hills tonight. The cast heads to New York Fashion week to support Kyle Richards. She’s a clothing designer now, you guys. Who asked for this? As far as I know, there isn’t a high demand for ill-fitting caftans, yet, this clothing line does exist. Ugh.
Well ahead of its Season 10 premiere tonight, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been delivering us drama. We’ve seen rumors fly between Brandi Glanville and Denise Richards, pulling the rest of the girls into the mix in classic Beverly Hills fashion. Erika Jayne, who will be holding a diamond for the 5th time this season, is no stranger to this level of drama.
Erika‘s Season 7 tagline was “I may be two people, but I’m not two-faced.” Well, Erika, we’re sorry you had to learn this the hard way. This isn’t true for the rest of the cast. Erika has faced people talking about her every season, but season ten may take the cake. Denise seemed to get on with Erika last season. However, loyalties are always up for grabs in Beverly Hills.
There truly is a first for everything. For once, I agree with Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent on something, and it has to do with the queen of Beverly Hills herself: Lisa Vanderpump.
As a long-time Housewives fan, there’s something so disconcerting about an OG leaving the franchise, and that was certainly the case when Lisa Vanderpump hung up her crown and said goodbye to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after 9 seasons. But should the animal-loving, Dolce & Gabanna-wearing LVP ever have a change of heart, well, I’m not the only one who would welcome her back to the series with open arms.
Last season on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Teddi Mellencamp took up residence in Kyle Richards‘ ass. It was just so uncomfortable to watch.
And, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I think I’m gonna end up siding with Dorit Kemsley once Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns for Season 10. She is calling out Teddi for being judgmental and I am here for it. Teddi brings nothing to this show other than sermons preaching faux honesty. And that famous last name, of course.
Usually, this time of year is consumed by tax-related worries. April 15 is around the corner, after all. However, that deadline has been pushed to July in response to the coronavirus pandemic. There’s no doubt about it, this is a difficult time for all of us. The coronavirus has changed everything. Essential workers are putting themselves at risk on the front lines. Many people have lost their jobs. So many of us are working at home while taking care of relatives and homeschooling kids. Everyone has had to adjust in some way.
At the very least, there are still some small joys to provide escapism, like reality TV for instance. Some of our readers are binge watching old favorites. Others remember the day of the week based on the new show that is on that night. Yes, there are more important things going on in the world, absolutely. But, at least reality TV has given us all some entertainment and a community for discussion.
The news cycle never stops. Even in a global pandemic, reality stars are thirsting for attention (i.e. going live on Instagram and making embarrassing Tik Tok videos). Not only that, but there are some old episodes and news stories that will be interesting forever. One thing that a lot of reality stars have in common, other than extreme thirst and a propensity for cosmetic enhancement, is an issue with taxes. How do so many public figures think they can get away with not paying taxes when they’re in the spotlight? Can’t they just hire someone to be on top of this? Overall, it makes zero sense, yet it happens a lot. Let’s take a look back at some of the reality TV star tax scandals throughout the years.
When Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premieres next week, it is going to be as if the franchise got a facelift. Lisa Vanderpump called it quits ahead of Season 10. And two new ladies were added to the RHOBH roster.
Sutton Stracke, who was already friends with Lisa Rinna, joined the show as a Friend of the Housewives. And actress Garcelle Beauvais landed her very own diamond.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley and her husband, PK Kemsley, were responsible for all the drama last season. They adopted an adorable puppy from Vanderpump Dogs, and then Dorit rehomed the pup instead of returning Lucy to the organization. Lucy ended up in a shelter.
Lisa Vanderpump quit RHOBH after “puppy gate.” And somehow, all of the financial and legal issues engulfing the cast stayed off the show, and off viewer’s radars. Finally, Camille Grammer told the Beverly Hills Housewives that PK owed millions of dollars to Camille’s friend. Boom! Mic drop.
