On this week’s episode of Teen Mom OG, in part two of the reunion, hosts Dr. Drew Pinsky and Nessa Diab, sit down with the OG’s as well as their significant others and families. This episode we get a little more in depth as we finally get to hear the families perspective on this season. We even get more insight on Cory Wharton’s thoughts on Cheyenne Floyd and a possible relationship. She admitted in part one, she would be ready to have a relationship with Cory, but she knows he is not interested ready (for anything other than sex).
Andrew Glennon looks awkward and nervous when he asked about his thoughts on Amber Portwood’s thoughts of suicide. He shares that it is scary, but he needs to do more research and talk and listen to Amber to help her through her depression. When talking about being a new father, he begins to cry thinking about how his son makes him happy. Gary Shirley and Kristina Shirley join the stage to discuss co-parenting.
They claim co-parenting is going well and Leah is doing fine, but it seemed during the season (and every season) that they wish Amber would do a little more. Kristina goes into detail on her miscarriage and gets emotional while speaking about it. Amber also tears up (in an attempt to steal the attention back) when she sees how upset Kristina is and her own miscarriage. Dr. Drew commends them both for sharing their stories about losing children for others that may need to hear it.
On this week’s episode of Teen Mom OG, we look back at the journey the five moms went through this season. The cast sat down with hosts Dr. Drew Pinsky and Nessa Diab, to chat. They discussed everything from mental health, children and divorces. This season, Amber Portwood even threatened to leave the show. As much as Amber may need a break, selfishly I don’t want to deal with getting to know a new mom. Let’s face it, new moms, Cheyenne Floyd and Bristol Palin, were train wrecks, each in their very own annoying way.
Maci Bookout got emotional when asked about memorable parts from the season. She can’t look at anyone without seeing hurt, especially with all of the mom shaming online. She wishes the other moms could see themselves the way she sees them. This is clearly a reference to Amber, who has been plagued with depression and recently struggled with comments on social media about her parenting skills. The other moms come to the defense of Amber and try to uplift her spirits as she breaks down. I do feel for Amber, it is obvious she has many issues. But at the same time, you either have to make the choice to get off social media or leave the show. As much as I hate to see her go (she is good TV), it’s clear to me she isn’t emotionally strong enough to handle it.
This week most of your favorite (and even some of your least favorite) reality TV stars were all about the family time and shared lots of photos on Instagram.
Even with all of the drama on screen and off, Southern Charm stars Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenelcame together as parents to support their daughter. Now I just can’t help wondering who took that family photo? Was it Ashley Jacobs?
Well, well – what a surprise Jenelle Evans is causing drama and chaos and being rewarded for it by MTV! Yaaaaaaaayyayyayay – who’s ready for another crazy Jenelle post?! (I see your invisible hands raised high!)
Well, Farrah Abraham has forgiven Dr. Drew, and now they’re both counselors here to teach us how to have functional family relationships and deal with life. Um.
The Teen Mom OG star chatted with Dr. Drew and his co-host Bob Forrest (Celebrity Rehab alumni) on his podcast, where Farrah opened up about her complex family dynamics, what she learned from appearing on WeTV’s Family Boot Camp, and how everything is Debra Danielsen‘s fault. Dr. Drew was also available to diagnose Debra’s mental state and praise Farrah for being so smart.
In today’s installment of ’50 Ways To Go Insane’, listening to Farrah Abraham‘s voice for an hour is at the tippity-top of my list. Luckily for all of you lovely people, I took one for the team and listened to Farrah’s interview with the ‘Allegedly‘ podcast and I wrote down all the juicy bits. So while I’m icing my brain in a vat of vodka, all of you, please – read-on. Really – you owe it to me…
Farrah discussed everything from love, motherhood, God, politics, her success, and what’s next in her oh-so busy life.
“I’m not a thirsty bitch! I have plenty of H20,” declares Farrah. “I know how to give passion more unto the universe and I think it lacks it so much that I wouldn’t be happy if I didn’t improve where I was. That’s the kinda soul that I got.”
In addition to the VMAs, the Teen Mom 2 star hit up the beach, Buca di Beppo, and the Playboy morning show. Jenelle shared pictures of her every move on Instagram, including one of her and her mom, Barbara Evans, enjoying drinks on the beach. “We are both kid free for once in our life!” said Jenelle. “Cheers!”
