After only ten days of hanging out for a check therapy, the Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition couples must decide if they are ready to commit to their relationships or walk away. I recommend that they walk away, briskly. Or at least most of them should. One couple will take the next step and another will cut ties completely.
When the group gets ready to leave the strip club, drama ensues when Waka Flocka gets a little too friendly with some random women. In usual Tammy Rivera fashion, she goes all the way off when she sees her husband smiling in another woman’s face. I wonder if she did that when he actually cheated all of those times in the past. After returning home, the men and women discuss what will happen at the end of Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition. Honestly, it doesn’t seem like most people will change and their partners aren’t going to do anything. So, I guess all of this just for the viewers’ entertainment.
Last night on Marriage Boot Camp Hip Hop Edition, things get interesting when the couples have a surprise lie detector test. The couples are put on the hot seat and DECEPTION is definitely indicated for some! The Bootcampers go out as single men and women for a night of debauchery at the club. Relationships will be put to the test. Will this exercise make them stronger? Or will it expose more secrets?
Judge Lynn Toler lets the couples know its lie detector day. A group of men and women in black stand in the front of the room and look at the couples like they are inmates. Everyone is allowed to give their partner one yes or no question. Tammy Rivera asks if she is enough “woman” for her husband. Her question is revised to find out if Waka Flocka can be committed. We already know that may not be true. He has cheated on her a thousand times. Waka asks if Tammy trusts him. He better not fail this test or his wife may go crazy on national television.
Last night on Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition, it was another day and another explosive fight between Soulja Boy and Nia Riley. Things go all the way left, when Nia attempts to talk to him while he is in a mood. Fed up with the drama, she lies in another bed and plays on her phone. Soulja Boy is enraged that he is being ignored and a shouting match ensues. He jumps in her bed screaming and grabbing at her legs. The fight is so loud, half the house wakes up and runs to Nia’s aide. I doubt this is the first time something like this has happened. They both seem content complaining and then going back to each other. Nia, give up on him!
Jessica Dime and Tammy Rivera pull Nia aside to console her after the fight. She is so frazzled that she can’t even get her thoughts together. Later, Soulja Boy gives his side of the story to Tammy and Waka Flocka. He is upset because earlier that night she broke up with him. The next morning he apologizes and attempts to mend things. It seems like they go through the same cycle every episode. SMH…
Last night on Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition, Karl Dargan tried desperately to explain why he was up after midnight talking to another woman. I must say, he is totally committed to lying and denying everything to his wife. The experts question why Lil Mo would stay in this marriage. Dr. Ish brings out photographic evidence from the cameras that captured his moment of infidelity with a woman he claimed was his “sister.” Lil Mo leaves her meeting with the experts and shares the photo and the story with the whole house. Most would be embarrassed, but she doesn’t seem to be!
Lil Mo realizes Karl never came to bed and is asleep on the couch downstairs. She brings him back to their room to get some answers. Karl goes back to sleep to deflect from the conversation. The next morning, they engage in a shouting match. Things take a turn for the worst when Karl tries to slam the door on Lil Mo as she tries to confront him. He is clearly in denial and wants to ignore the problem rather than discuss it. They both step away from the camera. She begs Karl to say something to give her peace of mind. I was sad to see her so desperate to be loved. She let him publicly embarrass and disrespect her and their relationship. She gives him an out and even kisses him, despite him admitting the truth. SMH….
Last night on Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition, Karl Dargan faced the music for his FaceTime rendezvous with his mistress downstairs as his wife, Lil Mo slept upstairs. It’s as if this man doesn’t know he is in a house with CAMERAS to fix his marriage. He actually asks the woman to tell him she loves him before he goes back to bed. If Lil Fizz hadn’t walked into the kitchen who knows what else would have been said. Wow… SMH. This man has no respect for his wife or their relationship.
The experts view the tape. Dr. Ish asks who he was talking to and he has the nerve to say it was his sister. Ummm….My brother has NEVER called me at 2 AM and asked me to say I love him. Weird, that he would even use his sister as an excuse. After, Dr. Ish tells Karl he has to tell his wife about the conversation. Then, He runs to his room to let Lil Mo “they can see everything.” Of course, she and everyone knew this house was full of cameras, except for Karl apparently.
Last night on Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition, Tiffany Campbell confronted Lil Fizz about his relationship with Nia Riley. She is very unhappy with how cozy the picture of him and Nia appears. Lil Fizz claims they are just friends, but is also extremely defensive when questioned. At this point, I don’t even know why it matters. This has man has done everything, besides putting it on a billboard, to show Tiffany he has no real interest in her. Her questions would be valid if they were in a relationship, but given their circumstances, it should just be another reason to move on. Is Nia interested in Fizz as more than a friend?
Tiffany continues to grill him on Nia. She wants to know how many times have they hung out. Lil Fizz tells her people have always been there when they have seen each other. She is upset that Nia has been around his son and she hasn’t. Fizz tells her to get over it and find someone who isn’t a public figure. He is tired of people asking him about Nia when she is in a relationship. She asks Nia directly and her story is different. At this point, who cares? They are not in a relationship and he doesn’t seem to ever want to be in one. His contempt for her practically leaps off the screen.
Last night’s episode of Marriage Bootcamp: Hip Hop Edition was full of drama and jealousy. What will happen when you swap partners with a group of insecure and egotistical personalities? I can already see the smoke before the fire ignites. Soulja Boy gets up to attempt to make slop breakfast for the house. The end result actually didn’t look bad and he did it with swag. It’s sad. He can be nice to others in the house, but so rude to his girlfriend Nia Riley.
The couples are called to the Marriage Boot Camp room and everyone praises Soulja Boy for cooking breakfast. The couples are shocked when they are immediately whisked into a chaotic social media junket. They are hit with tough questions designed to rattle them. The press touches on everything from cheating, stripping, prolonged engagements and everything in between. Waka Flocka and Tammy Rivera become the most defensive in the group, after being asked to explain infidelity in their marriage. Waka even threatens one of the members of the press, who he felt disrespected his wife.
Last night on Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition the couples worked on teamwork. Honestly, with this pack of divas and divos, it should definitely be interesting seeing them attempt to share the spotlight. Soulja Boy gets up in the morning, doing what he does best… getting on Nia Riley’s nerves. He complains because she didn’t bring him breakfast in bed. Sigh… it has to be hard dating a man child. She dutifully goes back downstairs to cook and bring him the food. We will see who makes the best duo and who is better off solo!
All the couples report to the Marriage Bootcamp room. There are gift bags with each couples’ names on them. When they open the bags, they discover a pair of 7-XL sweat pants that look like they were borrowed from My 600 Pound Life. The experts reveal that each couple has to fit inside and wear them together. Everyone is assigned a list of tasks they must complete while in their pants. I literally screamed laughing, watching them trying to navigate around. Obviously, I just like seeing people make fools of themselves. Naturally, everyone is annoyed and lashing out on one another. But I think Soulja Boy and Nia made this exercise the brutal.
