Little Women: Atlanta recap

Little Women: Atlanta is in full wedding mode, thanks to Monie Cashette’s recent engagement. But if you have ever planned a wedding (or watched this show), you know that big events mean even bigger drama and this wedding is going to be no exception. Friendships are shifting faster than I can keep up with but in an effort to keep you all in the loop, I’m going to try my best!

The day that Monie has been waiting for arrives. No, not the wedding itself but wedding dress shopping! She brings Bri Barlup and Ms. Juicy along to help her pick something out while bragging about going to the best wedding dress boutique in Atlanta. When they arrive, they are given pencils and paper and have to walk around the store, writing down which dresses they like… isn’t that how it works at IKEA? I’m not impressed so far.

Little Women: Atlanta recap

On Little Women: Atlanta, we are slowly but surely switching from baby fever to bridal fever. With Monie Cashette’s wedding planning in full swing, the girls have no choice but to come along for the ride and see how the friendships play out with the Bridezilla that can’t budget.

Monie has been keeping herself busy with anger management classes and delusions of wedding grandeur. Poor Morlin is stuck not only trying to keep Monie’s temper in check, but her spending too. Good luck with that, buddy. One way he has suggested they cut costs is by supplying their own alcohol at the reception and Monie tentatively agrees, provided she can still get “the fancy stuff.” I was busy wondering when Monie got so high maintenance until she makes a bee line for the Moscato, stating that she only deserves the best. The best being a $16 bottle of wine.

Little Women: Atlanta recap

Little Women: Atlanta focuses on motherhood this week – the good, the bad, and the pukey.

With baby Aubrey still in the NICU, Amanda and Andrea Salinas head to the gym with Minnie Ross to work off some of those bad vibes from the psychic dinner gone wrong. Minnie feels like the psychic was a fake but right on cue, the lights in the gym go out. Minnie is spooked but the real issue here is that The Other Twins stirred up drama yet again and Minnie is pissed Ms. Juicy jumped on the opportunity to question her miscarriage. I would like to think, along with Minnie, that issue has been put to bed, but Ms. Juicy isn’t about to give up that bone.

Little Women: Atlanta recap

After yet another food fight on last week’s episode of Little Women: Atlanta, this time at a party for Bri Barlup’s three year old son (yes, you are reading this right), Bri is trying to recover with some much needed family time. Amanda Salinas and Monie Cashette (one of the offenders) show up to see how Bri is doing. Monie sort of dances around accepting some responsibility for what happened but takes the easy road out when she sees that Bri is more upset with Ms. Juicy for bringing the Other Twins, who had beef with Monie.

Andrea Salinas is home and recovering from her recent C-section and getting as much help as possible from her parents while they are in town. Her parents have to head back to Texas and bring up the subject of Andrea coming back to live with both of her kids when Aubrey is out of the hospital. Andrea isn’t ready to deal with that big of a decision, so just leaves it on the table and says goodbye to her parents and son, which she hates doing.

Little Women: Atlanta recap

Little Women: Atlanta will start just how it will end tonight – with an all-out food fight. I thought we had seen the worst of it when Ms. Juicy got a perfectly good plate of chicken wings dumped on her head by Minnie Ross’s mama after they couldn’t get along. But this cast just can’t leave well enough alone.

Last week, we saw Monie Cashette flinging anything that comes out of a bottle on the newly arrived Other Twins Hope and Charity after they called her out for food stamp fraud that happened years ago in a land far, far away (Texas, y’all). We start out in the same place we left off as last week but nothing new has really developed, outside of Monie’s poor fiancé, Morlin, being shown trying to wrangle in his wild woman and make sure she does not take the whole damn ship down with her.

Little Women: Atlanta recap

Little Women: Atlanta has been one fight after another this season and this episode won’t be any different. Let the accusations and drinks fly!

Ex best friends Monie Cashette and Minnie Ross have some unfinished business to handle and by business I mean nonsense. Minnie has been dying to fan the shade flames in another direction since she’s been questioned on another one of her tall tales this season. How can she get some of the heat off herself? By accusing Monie of not having dwarfism in front of their group of friends, which is pretty low.

On Little Women: Atlanta, the drama between the ladies has finally calmed down but that doesn’t mean you’re in store for a boring episode. There’s plenty going on to keep fanning the flames of entertainment down in the ATL.

Monie Cashette is still reeling from ex-best friend, Minnie Ross accusing her of not being a little person. Fiancé Morlin is both supportive and thoughtful in helping Monie through this as she decides to get tested for dwarfism. She has a 10 year old son living out of state with his father and while he is average sized, if Monie has dwarfism, he will also be carrying the gene. Monie wants to find out for her son’s sake, NOT Minnie, just to make that crystal clear.
