Real Housewives of Atlanta fans first heard about Cynthia Bailey’s partnership with Seagram’s Escapes during the Season 11 finale. Cynthia host a parted to launch her Peach Bellini drink, and, well some drama ensued, as expected.
Cynthia has continued her partnership with the brand and she spoke to us about everything they’ve accomplished in recent years.
Viewers met Drew Sidora on the most recent episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta. She was introduced as a friend of Cynthia Bailey’s (who she met through Eva Marcille), but those ties weren’t enough for Kenya Moore to give her a chance. Or at least that’s how it seemed.
Kenya referred to Drew as a “stray” when she walked into Lake Bailey. And, well, that’s probably the nicest thing Kenya is going to say about her. She even compared Drew to her brief enemy Kim Fields, who was a one and done Housewife.
Season 13 of Real Housewives of Atlanta needed to be a season of change. Last season was toxic and kept recycling the same storylines. In September, “OG” NeNe Leakes announced that she was leaving the show. But, with NeNe being NeNe, even her RHOA exit was filled with frantic drama.
NeNe alleged that she was forced off the show. And when rumors surfaced that Bravo snatched away her peach, NeNe insisted that she walked away from an unfair offer. Sure, NeNe. Eva Marcille also departed the franchise.
We already got a trailer for Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 13. The new episodes start on December 6. We all knew Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, and Porsha Williams are returning as full-time cast members. NeNe Leakes and Eva Marcille are out (although Eva is a bridesmaid in Cynthia’s wedding). Drew Sidora is a full-time cast member and there are a bunch of other “Friends of the Housewives.
How are they not done filming this season yet? Is it that good that they just can’t put the cameras down? Or are they not getting good enough footage so they’re hoping for more? Well, apparently, production is still going. And, no, I’m not just referring to the post-principle shooting confessional interviews. Apparently, they’re still hosting all-cast events at this point, less than a month before the season starts airing. However, they recently paused production.
Real Housewives of Atlanta is gearing up for quite a season. As we dry our tears of pain because NeNe Leakes is
fired no longer on the show, now the cast has a whole new infection to deal with. Cynthia Bailey had a history of lookin’ for love in all the wrong places, until she found Mike Hill. Viewers have been inundated with the #chill hashtag for about two years, and the happy couple got engaged in 2019.
Cynthia was accused of using her engagement with Mike as a storyline, which kind of tracks because she usually has no storyline. But Cynthia was smitten with Mike and it was obvious she was thrilled at the prospect of becoming Mrs. Hill. Cynthia had the location. She had the dress. And she had the guest list. With dreams of rings, vows, and cameras dancing in her head, she wasn’t anticipating a pandemic to gate crash. Thanks to the Rona, NeNe wasn’t the only one who missed Cynthia’s ceremony.
Real Housewives of Atlanta is in desperate need of a cast shake up. Now, they have the chance. NeNe Leakes’ messy departure has been making headlines for some time now. At least Eva Marcille went low key about not coming back. So that leaves at least two spots open on the show.
While NeNe isn’t doing the show any favors, it looks like Eva put in a good word for two possible peaches.
Real Housewives of Atlanta has been busy filming without two of last season’s stars. NeNe Leakes and Eva Marcille both announced they were leaving the show this summer. Eva’s announcement was met with a collective sigh of relief from fans who thought she brought nothing to the table. NeNe’s dramatic departure, on the other hand, served up more drama than her whole season on the show.
But both NeNe and Eva left the show on poor terms with each other. Despite having what they called a sisterly relationship, the two fell out on the last season. Now it looks like the two ousted peaches are sticking together.
We all know how much Cynthia Bailey wanted to marry Mike Hill. Even before he popped the question, she was talking about their upcoming wedding. She even created her own (over-used) hashtag #Chill, which was clever at first, but got played out after its excessive use.
Now, it’s official. Cynthia did something that no other Real Housewife has done before- she got married twice on the show. And, no, those ill-fated vow renewals don’t count. Hopefully, the day went better than when she married Peter Thomas. Her sister hid their marriage license, making it clear that both she and her mother disapproved of the union. Clearly, their instincts were on point with that one.
