It’s great to have Kenya Moore back on Real Housewives of Atlanta. We really needed her last season. Or at least that’s how I felt. NeNe Leakes, on the other hand, did not feel the same way. She was livid when Kenya showed up to Cynthia Bailey’s party during the Season 11 finale. NeNe and Cynthia even ended their friendship over that “betrayal.”
When it was announced that Kenya would return to RHOA, many fans eagerly anticipated some heated exchanges between the Housewives. Instead, we got some flashback clips and no new NeNe footage. NeNe has been absent from the first two episodes, but she will come face to face with Cynthia this week at the Pride parade. Eva Marcille, Marlo Hampton, and Cynthia’s daughter Noelle Robinson will be there too, but the marquee event is NeNe and Cynthia’s first encounter in months. With that said, I have to assume that there will be a lot of build up, followed by a cliffhanger at the end, to keep us on the edge of our seats until next week. I hope I’m wrong, but that’s just how I see this going based on my many years of Real Housewives viewership.
The drama report is calling for plenty of shade on Real Housewives of Atlanta, and I am here for it. Kenya Moore is back for Season 12 and already stirring things up on the show. And so is Cynthia Bailey, who is trying to be friends with both Kenya and Eva Marcille. Good luck with that, Cynthia!
Kenya’s Barbie-themed party to introduce baby Brooklyn was the starting point of a rift between new mommy Porsha Williams, and expectant mommy (at that time) Eva. Cynthia had my favorite costume—thirsty bridal Barbie. Eva attended as
least amount of effort for costume work-out Barbie but left her kids at home. Porsha later told Kenya that Eva didn’t bring her kids because Eva didn’t trust Kenya around her children.
Kenya Moore’s return last week on The Real Housewives of Atlanta was incredible. She never should have left and now she’s back and holding her rightful peach. The first episode was very BABY heavy, but the drama is coming. Seeing Porsha Williams and Kenya finally become friends is the greatest thing to ever happen to Atlanta. IT’S ABOUT TIME.
One thing that was crazy during the premiere was the absence of Nene Leakes. We now know the reason why, but it was still weird not seeing her. Nene’s feud with Kenya is a big selling point of this season, so hopefully, we see some of that soon. The first tension of the season is already brewing between Kenya and model Eva Marcille. Was it weird that Eva didn’t want her baby around Kenya? KINDA, but that’s classic Atlanta shade.
This season of Real Housewives Of Atlanta features a group of women who are softer, stripped down, and far less pretentious. Maybe it’s all the babies? Because right out of the jump we are tackling real issues, although something about the way it’s being presented seems mighty producer-driven…
Mostly I’m talking about Cynthia Bailey bobbing for rings and the insincere appearance of Sincerely Ward. But first the positive!
Kenya Moore has undergone a metamorphasis. And I love it! Since having daughter Brooklyn, now 7 months, Kenya’s entire personality has been given the FaceTune ‘more smooth’ treatment. She is infused with motherly love and patience. So patient that Kenya is willing to live halfway across the country from husband Marc Daly as he builds his business empire in NYC.
Bravo’s southern ladies are back tonight for season 12 of Real Housewives Of Atlanta. And oh boy does this season look JUUUUICY!
We all know Kenya Moore is back, this time with her husband Marc Daly and her daughter Brooklyn who will be making her first ever debut on Bravo. But things are all peaches and cream for the Daly’s. Kenya struggles to maintain a long-distance relationship with her husband while she reconnects with her Atlanta roots (aka moves back to film).
It looks like NeNe Leakes might tackle an ongoing issue impacting Real Housewives of Atlanta. An issue important to society, politics, and our children. That issue is bullying. NeNe might know a thing or two about this topic.
None of us will forget when NeNe was bullied by a Bravo camera guy, forcing his way into her closet. And we all remember where we were when Eva Marcille bullied the OG by getting married when NeNe was having a bad day. The pièce de ré·sis·tance, NeNe’s husband, Gregg Leakes. Gregg viciously bullied NeNe by getting cancer and interrupting her lifestyle. Now NeNe wants vengeance and exposure for all bullies! Beware
Kenya Moore cast of RHOA Season 12, NeNe has her evil eye on all of you!
It is Kenya Moore’s first season back since taking a brief departure from Real Housewives of Atlanta and she is already bored. Her return has been a thorn in the side of co-star NeNe Leakes and her marriage took a nosedive after filming the began. She has also reportedly had conflict with Eva Marcille, who has allegedly labeled Kenya both manipulative and a compulsive liar. So basically Kenya checks all the boxes for a reality television star.
That’s not to say it’s all been awkward. Kenya and her new baby have apparently been spending a lot of time with Porsha Williams and her daughter, Pilar Jehna. She’s also palling around with Cynthia Bailey, who is seemingly floating on a cloud of sex and wedding plans, since her engagement to Mike Hill. Aside from NeNe, another gal not pleased with Kenya’s revival is the non-peach holding Marlo Hampton. This is not unusual because Marlo is NeNe’s
henchwoman only remaining friend on the show. Now Kenya is saying she’s tired of the same old faces, no matter how many new faces some ladies can buy. She wants to jazz up the cast and cancel Marlo while she’s at it.
