The 2019 Super Bowl was underwhelming. It could have been the low-scoring game. Or maybe people are just tired of the New England Patriots winning everything. And then there was the Super Bowl Half Time show with Adam Levine’s many layers of clothing. That was…. interesting, as in not really.
Nevertheless, there were a lot of fun parties in Atlanta during Super Bowl weekend with plenty of reality TV stars in attendance. There are also some reality stars who watched the Super Bowl at home.
In 2014, Teresa and Joe pleaded guilty to federal fraud charges, including mail fraud, bankruptcy fraud, and conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Teresa spent nearly one year in prison “away at camp.” Joe’s 41-month sentence will be over in March 2019.
So last night’s Real Housewives of New Jersey welcomed Teresa Giudice back into the land of tequila with minimal drama (that’s saved for next week!). Margaret Josephs does her best to be relevant, and while I really like her, she’s sinking down to a level she shouldn’t…or maybe she’s required to–this is reality television after all! Thankfully the kids scenes were kept to a minimum. I know several readers didn’t appreciate my snarky request not to snark on the kids, but we can all agree we are here to snark…I just like keeping it to the adults who signed up for this circus! As always, thank you for reading, and now, let’s get to slinging super bronzed snark!
The RHONJ episode opens with the ladies and their families prepping for their day a la Southern Charm’s formula. Teresa is sharing her very tiny wardrobe for the upcoming bodybuilding competition with daughters Audriana, Gabriella, and Gia. Audriana calls it like she sees it. The outfit is gross and is certainly going to go up her mom’s butt. Teresa shares that she was nervous to tell incarcerated husband Joe Guidice that she was participating in such an event due to his jealous tendencies. She’s relieved that he is not only supportive, but he hopes she wins. Realizing she can’t change her mother’s tiny-weeny-bikini choices, Audriana remembers the ol’ “if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em” mantra and models some seriously killer poses her mom should use on the catwalk.
Even though they’ve publicly feuded, many reality TV stars gathered with family for Christmas. Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Joe Gorga celebrated Christmas Eve together. But what kind of cookies did they eat? Did Melissa bring some sprinkle cookies? Or did Teresa insist on eating pignoli cookies? Hopefully, they didn’t argue about desserts this year.
After years of public tension, it seems like sisters Kyle Richards, Kim Richards, and Kathy Hiltonare in a great place. They spent Christmas together as well.
As expected, plenty of reality TV stars wore matching Christmas pajamas. Bristol Palin coordinated pajamas with her kids. Additionally, Kameron Westcott and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave took part in the social media Christmas tradition as well.
Bethenny Frankelwent Instagram official with Paul Bernon in the Dominican Republic. Meanwhile, Cynthia Bailey shared an airplane selfie with her man Mike Hill.
Dolores Catania was just happy to have both of her kids back in the Garden State. And Dorinda Medley enjoyed celebrating with her daughter Hannah.

TELL US- WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THESE REALITY TV STAR CHRISTMAS PHOTOS? ARE YOU A FAN OF THE MATCHING PAJAMAS TREND? OR ARE YOU OVER IT?
In 2014, both Teresa and Joe pleaded guilty to fraud and both were sentenced to prison time. Teresa served 11 months, while her husband received a whopping sentence of 41 months. Joe, who came to this country from Italy with his parents when he was 1-year-old, never became a citizen. The judge decided to deport Juicy Joe because he “committed a crime of moral turpitude.” What Teresa will do if her husband is deported to Italy is a source of endless speculation.
Real Housewives of New Jersey has reverted back to Giudice vs. Gorga era. After two seasons of peace, Teresa Giudiceis at odds with her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa Gorga. The three of them argued every single episode this season. To be fair, we are only four episodes in. That had to be a tough time for the family. I imagine it’s also difficult to watch back.
I don’t blame Teresa for escaping the show (and social media critics) with a family vacation. Teresa and her daughters got away from the New Jersey cold with an escape to Turks and Caicos.
Joe Giudice has filed an appeal in his bid to stop his deportation to Italy once his prison sentence is over in March of 2019. It’s been a long road for Teresa Giudice’shusband. Now she and their four daughters are just hoping that he ends up in New Jersey instead of Italy.
