Something tells me the upcoming season of Floribama Shore is going to have no shortage of drama.
After two seasons of hookups, bar fights, and some puke and rallies, Floribama Shore will return for a new season.
However, it won’t actually be filmed on the Floribama Shore, which is actually a nickname for the Florida-Alabama border. No, they’re not channeling the show’s predecessor Jersey Shore’s Italy season by filming in another country. However, that fish out of water scenario would make for some great TV.
Last night on Floribama Shore was the group’s last week in the shore house. It’s finally time for them all to say goodbye. This season we have seen a lot of drunken nights, hookups, stalking, and fights. With Jeremiah Buoni’s brother in town, I wonder if Nilsa Prowant will fall for him again. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen since he completely played her last summer.
Jeremiah’s brother, Josh, finally arrives at the house. The douche bag level goes up to a thousand with his arrival. Josh tells the crew that he is getting laid tonight. Josh clearly knows attention is Nilsa’s kryptonite because begins complimenting her. Little does she know what he was just saying about her outside.
Last night on Floribama Shore, Aimee Hall was about to have a full blown panic attack after talking to her mom about her fight with a random in PCB. She tells Nilsa Prowant that everyone believes she broke the girl’s nose. She is extremely worried about her family and if they are disappointed and embarrassed by her actions. On top of all of those things, the threat of jail looms over her as well. Will Aimee, be able to push through the last couple of days in the house? Or will her scuffle with a random ruin the end of her vacation and reputation?
While at work, Jeremiah Buoni plays the self-righteous father role. He is happy Aimee is learning a lesson. He feels like her actions have affected the whole house. I hope she learns from this as well, but come on give her a break. It wasn’t like she was bothering this girl and trying to fight her. Aimee simply reacted to being harassed. She is young and I’m sure she has realized people will try to provoke you, for attention when you are in the public eye. I find his attitude a bit hypocritical seeing as though, he also had a fight this summer.
Last night on Floribama Shore, police arrested Aimee Hall. At the bar, she was harassed by a random, now the supposed victim is claiming her nose is broken. Portions of the altercation were blurred out. So, I can’t tell if she threw a drink or actually punched the woman in her face. Do we believe this is a desperate bar patron looking for fifteen minutes of fame? Or is she just a victim who talks too much? I’m leaning towards the former. Get those tabloid interview coins!
The group is in the van coming home when the police stop them. Meanwhile, Codi Butts and Candace Rice are on their way home from their date, totally unaware of the drama. Aimee is placed under arrest for battery and the random at the bar wants to press charges. The police decide not to take her to jail, but give her a court date.
Last night’s Floribama Shore continued where it left off. The Butts’ are still in town! I guess the family that drinks together stays together. Last week we left off with Codi Butts’ father questioning Candace Rice about the possibility of a date between them. Could this be a match made in heaven? Or is Codi just more comfortable wearing down dating a girl in the house? Let’s not forget, he tried to have something with Aimee Hall in the past.
Everyone is out at the bar having drinks. Codi has to leave the table to throw up, per his usual drinking ritual. His father continues his inquisition now that his son is out of sight. Candace tells his father that when he asked before, she was in a relationship. His dad is definitely working the situation because he further presses her further with, “You’re not in a relationship now”. Candace finally agrees to a date, thanks to his dad. Well, you have to love a girl who agrees to a possible date while the guy is in the bathroom puking his guts out.
Last night on Floribama Shore, the Butts’ came to town! Codi Butts’ family, that is. I wonder how a family gathering will work out with the feud between Nilsa Prowant and Kortni Gilson. Will Nilsa be able to forgive Kortni for slamming a door into her nose? Or will she continue to milk this injury for more attention? Either way, I am ready to see how all of this drama unfolds. Let’s just hope Codi’s mom and dad are not caught in the crossfire!
The group wakes up to their last morning in Cabo. The guys discuss nosegate and whether it was done on purpose. I don’t think it was done on purpose, but I definitely think Kortni didn’t care that it happened. Kortni gives her side to Gus Smyrnios and hopes after they get home everyone will be able to move forward. Nilsa is totally playing up her injury and being completely extra. Can someone say “attention seeker”? But hey, if someone hit me in my nose and laughed about it, I would be angry as well. In the cab with the girls, Kortni attempts to extend an olive branch and ease the tension. Nilsa does not want to hear what she has to say. She is still angry and clearly not ready to let it go.
Back in 2009, MTV introduced the world to a group of spray tanned, gym loving individuals known as the Jersey Shore. Love them or hate them you couldn’t deny they were a cultural phenomenon.
In 2017, after the end of Jersey Shore in 2012, MTV premiered Floribama Shore. Although, it may not have taken the world by storm like it’s predecessor that does not mean it should be cast aside. Here are some of the reasons why Floribama Shore should definitely be added to your watch list.
