Captain Sandy Yawn Shares Her One Regret About Firing Hannah Ferrier From Below Deck Mediterranean

This season of Below Deck Mediterranean should have been inspiring. We should have been watching females in lead positions, running a boat efficiently, and not taking any crap. What we received was a sneaky bosun, a micro-managing captain, and a racist deckhand. Captain Sandy Yawn made some executive decisions and as a result, fans made some decisions of their own.

Hannah Ferrier is currently living her best life. Pregnant with a baby girl, Hannah has somewhat retired from the world of yachting. But the way she went out felt, I don’t know, kind of underhanded. Hannah was fired for having undeclared meds onboard, in the form of a Valium Rx and CBD pen. Viewers had a lot of feelings regarding Hannah’s termination and Captain Sandy has not been on the receiving end of good press. Now Sandy shares her thoughts on Hannah’s untimely exit, and her one regret regarding the controversy.

Below Deck Mediterranean Malia White
Am I the only still recovering from last week’s devastating episode of Below Deck Mediterranean? After undermining Kiko Lorran all season long, Captain Sandy Yawn fired the chef in the middle of a charter and still expected him to finish it out with full enthusiasm. That was just so cold and so tough to watch.
It gets even more scandalous though. On tonight’s episode, bosun Malia White’s boyfriend Tom Checketts, who just happens to be a chef, is visiting her. Wow. That timing is just so “coincidental” isn’t it? Many viewers are not buying that one, assuming this was a complete setup from the start.

Below Deck Mediterranean Captain Sandy Yawn Kiko

There’s a new episode of Below Deck Mediterranean on tonight and it seems like everyone is getting a bit of cabin fever at this point in the charter season.

Chef Kiko Lorran struggles through the first day of the charter. At one point, a charter guest tells Captain Sandy Yawn that both the food and the service were “average.” Ouch. As a result, Captain Sandy gives Kiko an ultimatum. He needs to “wow” the charter guest, otherwise, she’s going to find another chef for the yacht. Ouch (again).

Below Deck Mediterranean Hannah Ferrier

During last week’s episode of Below Deck Mediterranean, Chef Kiko Lorran was put under a lot of pressure when he had to cook a 72-plate dinner for some demanding charter guests. But, that doesn’t mean this week’s charter is going to be any easier for him. Kiko is faced with another challenge tonight.

Meanwhile, Third Stew Jessica More struggles to fulfill her duties following an injury. Will she be able to keep her spot on the boat? But she’s not the only stewardess in a struggle this week. Even though they kind of/sort of made peace, the tension between Hannah Ferrier and Bugsy Drake is still there. And we all know that Captain Sandy Yawn is going to side with anyone who is not Hannah Bugsy if the two of them get into an argument.

Below Deck Mediterranean is back with an all-new episode tonight. Chef Kiko Lorran has the challenge of cooking for extra people when the charter guests invite randoms to join them for a six-course meal on the yacht.

Hannah Ferrier and Bugsy Drake’s residual drama resurfaces tonight. Will the ladies just have a mature conversation about moving on and moving forward? Or will things get heated this early in the season?

Below Deck Mediterranean Lara Flumani

There’s a new episode of Below Deck Mediterranean tonight. The tensions between Hannah Ferrier and Lara Flumiani continues. And while this is apparently Hannah’s last season of Below Deck Mediterranean, this might be the first one where the whole fandom is actually behind her. She has Lara to thank for that. Lara is extremely disrespectful as far as stews go. And she’s not providing much entertainment.

On tonight’s episode, Lara just disappears, somehow, even though they’re all living and working in close quarters on a boat. Just fire her already, Captain Sandy Yawn. Lara’s drama isn’t even enjoyable to watch. She is just so frustrating.

Below deck Mediterranean Hannah Ferrier

Wow. Lara Flumani has set a new record for the worst stews in the history of Below Deck Mediterranean. And that is a show that has no shortage of emotionally challenging stewardesses! It’s almost like the editors wanted to give Hannah Ferrier a redemption send-off so they hired a person who would definitely make Hannah look good, no matter what.

Lara and Hannah just can’t seem to find any common ground. I blame Lara who views the entire world as being made of extra sharp knives she has to walk over. I refuse to believe she was some sort of super stew, as she claimed on her CV.

Lara has decided that Hannah is not her boss because she doesn’t like to be bossed, whereas Hannah has decided that Lara definitely needs to be bossed. And sassed. Honey. While the guests are playing an after-dinner drinking game, Lara and Hannah are arguing while clearing the table. This all came about because Lara feels condescended to by Hannah requesting she do 3rd stew responsibilities because she has a bad attitude. So hat does Lara do but fight bad attitude with a bad attitude.

Below Deck Mediterranean Hannah Ferrier

Below Deck Mediterranean is back tonight with another new episode. Last week we got to “meet” all of the new crew members in addition to getting reacquainted with Captain Sandy Yawn, Hannah Ferrier, and Malia White.

Right from the jump, Chief Stew Hannah had tension with Second Stew Lara Flumiani. And those issues continue on tonight’s Below Deck Mediterranean episode.
