Almost everyone was pregnant during the last season of Little Women: LA, so of course I expected some new reality show babies to be born soon. But for the most part these ladies stay out of the spotlight in between seasons, so it’s not shocking that Jasmine Arteaga Sorge gave birth to her second child back in December 1 and only just announced it.

I like that though, they get the perks of being reality TV cast members and the luxury of keeping some things private like “normal” people who aren’t on television. Plus, from what I’ve seen on the show, pregnancy can take a toll on a little person and her child, so it makes perfect sense to step away from the limelight when a newborn comes into the picture. But now Jasmine is opening up about the new addition to her family.

The best part of Halloween is not the candy, it’s all of the cute little kids dressed up in their Halloween costumes for trick-or-treating!

A slew of reality star parents took to Instagram to show off Halloween costume pics of their little ones. Kim Zolciak dressed twins Kane and Kaia as ‘Grease’ characters Sandy and Danny.  JWoww and her crew went dressed as The Incredibles, while her BFF Snooki and her kids were all decked out as Spiderman. Also dressing in a family theme was Kourtney Kardashian and her three kids – they went as a group of Power Rangers. Is it just me, or has this been the most exhausting season of Little Women: LA yet? We are on episode sixteen, for fudge’s sake! Thank goodness, next week is the season 5 finale, after which Kevin Frazier will return to lay down the smack on certain cast members (Christy McGinity and Terra Jole) during the 2-part reunion.

After last week’s Casino Night exploded like a dirty bomb in everyone’s faces, Christy is hell bent on getting back “in” with the group. But it’s too little, too late for Briana Renee and Terra, who can’t even stomach the sight of their former friend on a “survivalist retreat” that Tonya Banks delusionally organizes. Terra is more concerned about meeting her partner for Dancing With The Stars, who she suddenly laments will be taller than her. Ya think!?

Little Women: LA Recap: Terra’s Growing Family

Last night on Little Women: LA, Terra Jole faced some frightening complications during the C-section birth of her second child (thank goodness we know all is okay, real time!). It didn’t help matters that charming hubby Joe Gnoffo suspiciously scheduled himself to be “out of the country” just days before the blessed event – something Terra was none too happy about.

Also, Jasmine Sorge has apparently gone through deep counseling to get over her very serious issue of not being a dog-person, because she’s back on the scene this week looking smug as ever as Christy McGinity all but BEGS her to be allowed back into the friend group. I’m sorry, but Jasmine being the gatekeeper of who’s “in” and who’s “out” among these ladies is just laughable. Not to mention, it’s totally the position Jasmine has been vying for since she first appeared on the scene. I half expected her to rise up from the cafe chair after her conversation with Christy, shouting maniacally, “THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!!!!” – Highlander style. This chick is slithery.

Close your eyes with me for a moment and imagine this: A Little Women: LA episode not prominently featuring the abysmal hellfire of Briana Renee and her dirtball husband, Matt Ericson (Grundhoffer). Like, at all. Now open your eyes! Because our prayers have been answered – at least for this week.

Yes, my friends, we have been spared one full hour of nonstop Briana drama to focus on, well, totally unrelated drama between Terra Jole and Tonya Banks. So, okay, it is not a perfect world. It is kind of like we’ve been pulled up from the 7th circle of Dante’s Inferno to…I don’t know, the 5th circle? But I’ll take it!
