Margaret Josephs is her own kind of housewife on the Real Housewives Of New Jersey. She doesn’t drink, holds everyone accountable and drinks cold brew out of wine glasses. She’s the fun-loving pigtailed business lady who isn’t afraid to throw a
douche husband in a pool. And throughout her time on RHONJ, she’s been open and honest about her rocky past.
And more of that honesty is coming with the release of her book Caviar Dreams, Tuna Fish Budget. The memoir will contain stories that even her husband Joe Benigno and ex-husband Jan Josephs haven’t heard before. Now that’s some piping hot tea if you ask me.
After a wild trip to the Jersey Shore, what’s in store for The Real Housewives of New Jersey? This group fights so hard, but at the end of the day, they’re usually able to come together. The trip saw so many rocky moments, but it also saw some much needed closure. It was relieving to see Teresa Giudice and Jackie Goldschneider finally put their issue to rest. It was a dark cloud hanging over the group and the season, and we can finally move past it.
One feud that grew larger on the trip was Jennifer Aydin & Margaret Josephs. They are different in ever conceivable way. They have nothing in common, and if you put the two of them together, something is bound to happen. Teresa’s supposed to be arranging for everyone to meet with a psychic, and it can’t come fast enough. It would be perfect if the psychic could use her powers to keep Jennifer & Margaret from hitting each other with low blows.
Bethenny Frankel is no longer appearing on Real Housewives of New York but she’s doing everything else. Want some clothes? Beth has you covered. Want to be insulted? Beth is there for you. Want to drop some exciting news on the same day your former show is releasing a new-season trailer? Don’t worry, Bethenny won’t leave you out in the cold.
Now we move on to Bethenny’s next
stunt chapter, or maybe it’s just a blurb. Hey, remember the “Tipsy Girl incident”? Sonja Morgan was considering offering her own line of spirits and attempted to consult with Superbusinesswoman Bethenny about her direction. Despite the Jaws music playing in the background, none of us knew Sonja was about to be Bethenny’s lunchtime snack. As Beth berated Sonja for stealing her brand, she offered some wise words, “pick one thing and stick with it”. Clearly Bethenny doesn’t follow her own advice.
I love the husbands on Real Housewives of New Jersey. This season, what happened at guys’ night didn’t stay at guys’ night, which means more drama for RHONJ viewers! When the guys met for poker, Margaret Josephs’ husband, Joe Benigno, admitted that he had also heard that Evan Goldschneider was cheating.
Unfortunately, Bill Aydin carried the news back to his wife, Jennifer Aydin. And on the ride to the Jersey Shore, Jennifer shared it with Dolores Catania, her ex-husband, Frank Catania, and Teresa Giudice.
While Margaret Josephs is past her days of feuding with Danielle Staub and throwing her ex-husband in the pool on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, she has a new enemy in town. This season, Jennifer Aydin and the Marge have been going at it, throwing low-blows back and forth at each other. Jennifer is a ride-or-die to Teresa Giudice, while Margaret tries to hold Tre accountable. The two have never really gotten along, but this season is a whole new level.
And apparently, Jennifer Aydin isn’t the only Jen that Marge has some opinions about. On a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Marge gave her feelings about the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. And particularly, what she thinks about Jen Shah’s recent arrest for her alleged involvement in a telemarketing scheme that targetted the elderly. She and her assistant Stuart Smith are facing federal fraud and money laundering charges, which hold a 30-year maximum prison sentence.
If you thought the drama was cooling off for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, think again. On last week’s episode things spiraled into total disarray. Everyone was at each other’s throats. However, at the end of the day this group always finds a way to move on and move forward. No matter how low the blows (looking at you Teresa Giudice), there’s always a sense of unity at the end of the day.
Even though they eventually move on and patch things up, inevitably something always comes between them again. This time it’s Jennifer Aydin going to war with Margaret Josephs. These two have never seen eye to eye, but this time feels different. There are some lines you don’t cross. Saying it’s sloppy to sleep with your boss after that person told you they were a victim to someone in a position of power is reprehensible. They might not be able to move on this time.
I am loving Real Housewives of New Jersey this season. Of course, there is still bad blood between Melissa Gorga and Jennifer Aydin. Last season, Jennifer indulged her tequila monster and tossed a set of silverware at Melissa during a luncheon in the Hamptons.
During the Season 11 RHONJ premiere, newbie Michelle Pais dropped a bomb on Jennifer. She told her that Joe Gorga, Melissa’s husband, owed her husband “tens of thousands of dollars.” Michelle’s husband, Jonathan Steingraber, spoke at Joe’s “Growing with Gorga” event, but supposedly wasn’t paid.
Despite Jackie Goldschneider’s claim to be the new queen bee of Real Housewives of New Jersey, this show has, from day one revolved around Teresa Giudice. Half of the cast and alums were either family members or in her social circle. So maybe they all came in with a strong opinions, but each season repeats the theme. You’re either with Teresa or against her.
Everyone else just seems to be fillers. Whether they contribute anything to a story line independent of Teresa depends on what they bring to the table. And this season’s cast has been underwhelming in that regard, as they just ride each other’s outraged coattails.
