90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Recap: Another World

On last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way, we finally learned a little more about Aladdin and Laura’s relationship. It seems that one of them turns into the green-eyed monster whenever they start to feel insecure. Can you guess who? Okay, who am I kidding? We all know Aladdin isn’t worried about another man wanting Laura. I couldn’t even write that without laughing…. Corey also fights through the mean streets of Ecuador to get to his gold-digging boo, Evelin. I’m sorry but I gave up everything and was treated like that upon arrival, we would be done.

Do you remember that moment you realized you made a bad life-changing decision? Well, Corey is definitely having that moment. This fool gave up everything in the US and is currently funding businesses in Evelin’s name. He also took 3 planes and 2 buses only to arrive to find out EVILin couldn’t be bothered to pick him up. It was at this very moment, he knew…. He f%#%* up.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Recap: No Looking Back

On last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way, there were some interesting developments. We finally got to meet the final couple Jihoon and Deavan, who were introduced on this episode. Also, one of the American hopefuls is stranded at the airport. The person they gave up everything for didn’t feel like coming to get them.

Wow…. Am I the only one who would have taken that as confirmation that this isn’t a good decision? Sometimes when everything in you screams you are making a mistake, you should listen! Sometimes I almost wish I was less cynical, but when I see naivety like this, I appreciate its benefits.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Recap: Big Expectations

On last night’s episode of 90-Day Fiance The Other Way, Sumit had Jenny come all the way from the US, despite knowing his family wouldn’t accept her. Not only that, he has to lie to them to sneak away when she arrives. Why wait until the day that your girlfriend is coming to talk to your family? Tsk, tsk, tsk… I don’t see this going well, at all. Honestly, I envision his family tying him down to a chair to stop him from embarking on his new non-traditional life with his American love. I use the word “love” lightly because I still sense a scam in the works. I could be wrong… hell, I hope I am wrong… Jenny’s childlike optimism makes me just want to protect her heart. One part of me wants her love story to come true, but the realist in me just doesn’t see it happening. Sigh!

Jenny nervously awaits her love, Summit, to arrive at the airport to begin their love story. Despite him arriving an hour late, Jenny is smitten. I guess he found a way to escape the interrogation at his parent’s home. To Jenny’s surprise, Sumit reveals that there is no hot water. Ummm… seems like that is a question you may have wanted to ask beforehand. The apartment is actually pretty nice, but the  $350 a month apartment is considered expensive in India. Sumit doesn’t know how long he will be able to afford it. Hmmmm…. and here is when the scamation (yes, that is a made-up word.) begins. One day he can’t afford rent and the next Jenny is paying for his new upgraded lifestyle.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Recap: It’s Go Time

On last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, one hopeful romantic was left stranded at the airport. Are you really surprised, when you look at this cast? All signs point to more than one person getting scammed out of their savings. What is surprising to me is that most of the American families seem to be taking their loved one leaving pretty well.

Maybe I come from a family who doesn’t care about hurting my feelings. I can guarantee my family would tell me I was making a mistake at every opportunity! Get ready to grab your popcorn and let’s judge people in the court of public opinion, for a bit.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season Premiere Recap: All In The Name Of Love

On the series premiere of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, we met four of the six Americans who will be moving out of the country for love. The show definitely has an interesting twist considering its premise is the opposite of the original series. Don’t worry; although they won’t be America, the cast still has the same amount of crazy we have come to love. This has disaster written all over it and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will uprooting pay off? Or will they be running home brokenhearted? Buckle up folks. This shit show is just getting started.

Jenny, a divorced grandmother is pursuing love in India. Originally, she thought she was talking to an English hottie, named Michael Jones. Only to find out she was being catfished by her future love, Summit. Ummm…. Someone make it make sense! You always see people like this on Dr. Phil, but never up close and personal. This man pursues you as someone else and when he reveals himself, you not only continue to date him, but decide to leave the country?????? Okay, this show definitely has promise. I can already see the cray unfolding. Jenny is emotional retrieving her visa from the mail. I hope her dream comes true, I really do.  But the realist in me screams… your bank account will be empty before you can finish your butter chicken. Ma’am, you are too old, to be this naive. SMH…
