Another day, another story about Jill Zarin “teasing” a return to Real Housewives of New York. She has been publicly begging to get that apple back ever since she left. She even invited the RHONY cast to film her birthday party, but none of them actually showed up. That is so sad. I don’t know why she would publicly admit that though. That’s on her.
Well, now Jill is done groveling for an apple. Or so she says. That’s right. Jill has (supposedly) given up on begging for an RHONY comeback.
Ever since she was booted from Real Housewives of New York, original cast member Jill Zarin has been desperately trying to get her full-time apple back. Jill has popped up here and there in episodes since she was let go after Season 4. She famously feuded with both Bethenny Frankel and Ramona Singer on the show. It seems like Jill’s bad blood with Ramona is still going on.
Jill even permitted RHONY cameras to film outside of her beloved husband, Bobby Zarin’s, funeral. In that moment of intense grief, Bethenny and Jill reunited and hugged. Still, many viewers were critical of Jill’s decision.
Even though Jill Zarin got fired from Real Housewives of New York
centuries ago and has been begging to come back ever since, she seems to view herself as an expert on the show/its casting decisions. Is anyone surprised that Jill weighed in on Bethenny Frankel’s decision to leave the show? Nope.
Jill hasn’t held an apple in years and she has no relationship with Bethenny, yet here she is sharing some insight. So Jill. Jill dished on Bethenny’s departure from RHONY during a radio interview with
another Bravolebrity in the doghouse Jeff Lewis.
Real Housewives of New York‘s original cast members have come and gone. Some have just recently left… Then there are those who never really go away. Jill Zarin helped launch RHONY, along with Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, and Luann de Lesseps. While Beth, Ramona, and the Countess have all stayed relatively close to the fold, Jill
was fired left the series in 2011. After an explosive relationship with Bethenny that resulted in the end of their friendship, it also resulted in the end of Jill.
Jill didn’t let go easily. It’s never been a secret Jill wanted back in, but she basically blew it. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live in 2012, Jill decided to “secretly tape” her interview with Andy Cohen. Let’s just say Big Daddy wasn’t tickled with the stunt queen move. That little slip up effectively booked Jill a trip to Bravo Siberia. But times have changed! Now that Bethenny has left the building, does this mean a door is open for Jill? Will viewers receive an encore performance of Jill’s panther-like moves on the tennis court? Maybe so, if Andy is in a forgiving mood.
Bethenny Frankel announced her shocking retirement from the Real Housewives of New York. She chose to retire from the popular franchise because she wants to focus on her “upcoming projects.” She may have also dropped a hint about getting married. It’s still unclear and fans aren’t sure what to think.
Since the Skinnygirl is dipping out of the franchise, fans are wondering who could fill the void. It’s been rumored that Jill Zarin could return to the series. She has nothing else going on. And she seems thirsty enough to return to the show. Jill has made it very clear that she would return to RHONY at some point.
Well, well, look what we have here! Our favorite emotional clown, Tinsley Mortimer has been spotted with cameras following her around in New York. It either means mother Dale Mercer now has her under constant surveillance or filming is underway for Real Housewives of New York. The franchise took a heavy hit with the announcement of Bethenny Frankel’s departure. We don’t know if she’s married, moving away, or if another fish is trying to kill her, but we wish her luck. Now that Bethenny has flown from the tragedy that is Tinsley’s love life, will we be sustained with
the last 15 minutes of LuAnn de Lesseps cabaret career?
Maybe not, thanks to Leah McSweeney. There has been speculation she is ready to jump in and filled the void left by Bethenny’s exit. Those are big shoes to fill, so good luck with that. Leah isn’t exactly a headline-maker. She is a single mom and founder of street brand, Married to the Mob. No word on whether or not she has dated Harry Dubin, which seems to be a requirement of most NY housewives. While details about Leah remain scarce, allegedly she likes people who text her back. Apparently Leah and Tinsley are hanging out, which is good because Tinsley needs a partner when FaceTiming her embryos. Now we wait and see who brings what to the table, and if Leah has an apple on her plate.
Just because we’ve done this before, it doesn’t mean that it is easy. In case you missed it, Bethenny Frankel left Real Housewives of New York. Again. She announced the news yesterday and I don’t know about you, but, for me the term “blindsided” wasn’t enough to define my shock.
She just came off of a such a solid season. RHONY had such a great cast of women who party, argue, and make up, in the most perfect cycle. Where does the show go from here!? Bethenny’s absence came completely out of nowhere and I am so embarrassed to admit that I am still processing it.
