I know I’m not the only one reeling from the Tiger King viewing experience. There are so many unanswered questions. There is just so much to unpack and such an ecclectic group of characters. And by “characters” I mean real people who just beyond outrageous.
Spoiler alert: the series ended with Jeff Lowe cooperating with the feds to take down Joe Exotic and Tim Stark. Currently, Joe Exotic is in jail. Still, that hasn’t stopped him from filing a $94 million dollar lawsuit. Rapper Cardi B even spoke out about what she views as an injustice to Joe. She doesn’t think that he should be behind bars and talked about starting an online fundraiser for him. However, Jeff could not be more proud of his involvement in this whole situation.
I’m not gonna lie, those Joe Exotic music videos we saw in Tiger King were so entertaining. Despite the ummmm….unusual subject matter, I could not help being enthralled. I wasn’t the biggest tiger enthusiast (before watching, obviously) and I am too scared to support any sort of beef against Carole Baskin. Still, I couldn’t help laughing at some of the music videos and the fact that Joe found the perfect Carole look-alike to portray her. Talk about dedication there!
While Joe certainly has an intriguing magnetism, he doesn’t actually have a great singing voice, at least that we can actually confirm. Apparently, he was lip-syncing all of those songs. He was also pretending that he knew how to play the guitar.
Netflix’s latest trending show, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness (Tiger King) has caught the eye of more than just television enthusiasts. One of the questions that never was answered throughout the seven-part docuseries is what happened to Carole Baskin’s first husband, Jack “Don” Lewis. According to TMZ, law enforcement now wants to find out.
The series follows the life of zoo owner, Joe Exotic and the events that led to him allegedly hiring a hitman to kill his number one rival, Carole. Although the supposed plot failed, many viewers were focused on whether she was involved in Don’s disappearance.
Nothing has taken the world by storm more than Tiger King. From start to finish, this documentary is INSANE. The show follows the shocking underworld of big cat breeding with a focus on Joe Exotic. This man is A WHOLE TRIP. Nobody has ever captivated me in the more bizarre way like this man. From his country music videos to the dozens of tigers to his multiple husbands.
If you have seen the show, then you know things didn’t end up well for Joe. He was entangled in a murder for hire plot with the intent to kill his arch-rival Carole Baskin. In addition to that, he was also convicted on his treatment of these big cats. However, what if things aren’t exactly what they seem? What if Joe Exotic was just a pawn in a larger conspiracy? He may be in prison, but he has a lot to say.
Hey all you cool cats and kittens! This quarantine has got my sanity holding on like one of Joe Exotic’s hoop earrings right now. But the one good thing that’s come of it during self isolation is the emergence of excellent TV. Netflix first did us a solid with Love Is Blind. Now they have stepped up their crazy game with Tiger King.
The show features toothless hillbillies, alligator fire pit espionage, monkeys in diapers, hit men who decide half way to the location of their hit that they just aren’t feeling it. Ciggs a plenty. Not to mention the epitome of a crazy cat lady accused of feeding her late husband to their tigers. The whole internet is going mad for this show and it’s obvious to see why. Even celebrities are flocking to the show like it’s catnip.
