Part 2 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion ended with Andy Cohen asking Teresa Giudice about the future of her relationship with Joe Giudice. If he does end up getting deported after prison, will Teresa stick with him? Or is she not down to have a long distance relationship with someone living in Italy.
Andy also asks Teresa if she’s been faithful this whole time Joe has been in jail. Unfortunately (for the viewers), this was taped before those photos came out. You know the photos of Teresa holding hands with a much younger man. The guy that was supposedly just “helping her to the car” in Miami.
Part 2 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion is tonight. Will we unearth some major revelations? Probably not. Most likely, Andy Cohen is saving those Joe Giudice deportation questions until the final reunion installment.
Instead, Joe Gorga joins the Housewives to watch his wife Melissa Gorga fight with his sister Teresa Giudice. Maybe this will include the moment from the reunion trailer when Joe asked Teresa if she’s using a vibrator. You know, just a normal sibling moment.
Yesterday had to be such an awkward day for Melissa Gorga to do press. Of course, promoting a show about arguing with family and friends has to be uncomfortable in general. Not only that, but those photos of Teresa Giudice holding hands with a 26-year-old random just hit the internet.
Obviously, Melissa and Teresa are not on the best terms these days. Nevertheless, that is such a tough conversation topic. In not-at-all-surprising news, Andy Cohen opened with that topic during yesterday’s Watch What Happens Live.
It was the splash heard all over New Jersey when Margaret Josephs and her husband, Joe Benigno, shoved Danielle Staub’s soon-to-be ex-husband Marty Caffrey in Jennifer Aydin’s pool. The bash to celebrate Jennifer and Bill Aydin’s sixteenth anniversary was featured on the Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 9 finale. At least Bill didn’t spend all his time hiding in his pool-house.
Jennifer requested that the ladies wear red, and when Marty insulted Margaret’s appearance, Joe B. sure was seeing red. It wasn’t the first time that Marty slammed Margaret’s looks. At Milania Giudice’s listening party, Marty said that Margaret wouldn’t want to be in a room with Danielle because no one would be able to take their eyes off Danielle.
I can’t believe we’ve come to the end of this season of Real Housewives of New Jersey. It seems like it has gone by so quickly, but in some ways, it’s been quite a long, drama-fueled road that culminated in the ladies seeing red at Jennifer Aydin’s anniversary party celebrating sixteen years with Dr. Poolhouse. Teresa Giudice and Danielle Staub are perusing scarlet ball gowns while discussing Margaret Joseph’s gala. Danielle gets in a requisite amount of digs while questioning whether she’ll be well received at the party. Teresa reveals that she doesn’t have an issue with Margaret and sees no reason not to be her friend. Danielle bristles, questioning whether Teresa will have her back if someone comes for her at the event. Of course, Tre is nothing if not loyal. It was hard to even type that with a straight face!
Jackie Goldschneider takes her mother for a makeover, but her mom explains that her physical appearance has never had an impact on her self-esteem. Jackie believes her mother has felt she had to be frumpy to be taken seriously as a business woman. She compares that fear of finding beauty with her reconciliation with her sister after a fifteen year estrangement. I’m not sure what one has to do with the other, but her mother’s hair and make-up looks nice.
Love comes and goes on Season 9 of Real Housewives of New Jersey as fast as exits on the New Jersey Turnpike. Case in point, Danielle Staub’s barefoot wedding to Marty Caffrey resulted in a marriage that lasted for a New Jersey minute. Is that a thing?
In contrast, there’s Dolores Catania. She has managed to have a longlasting relationship with her ex-husband of all people. However, they insist it’s platonic. Last season, she welcomed her ex-husband/father of two Frank Catania back home. As a result, viewers, along with cast members, have wondered if the exes are actually BFF’s with benefits ever since. Come on, the chemistry between them is just so strong! Right?
Had you been waiting with bated breath like me for last night’s episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey? All week I pondered who would prevail in the battle of Envy by Melissa Gorga and Jennifer Aydin’s tacky Chanel. Frankly, I wouldn’t put my money on either of them to throw down after Margaret Josephs doused Danielle Staub with Dolores Catania’s wine, but crazier things have happened in Cabo! Also, I appreciate the RHONJ’s producers for giving us a “to be continued” episode last week. What’s that old saying? People in garish houses shouldn’t throw glass? Jennifer gets in Melissa’s face, and Melissa quickly retreats. Dolores steps in to intimidate Jennifer, and Danielle intervenes. No matter how much Danielle hates Dolores, she respects her ability to beat Jennifer’s monkey’s ass lip liner.
Dolores takes a walk to cool off. Margaret confides in Jackie Goldschneider about how disappointed she is in Teresa Giudice’s behavior. She thought they were friends. Why is Teresa condoning Danielle (and subsequently Jennifer’s) abhorrent behavior? Teresa chases down Melissa who is disgusted by her sister-in-law’s loyalty. Dolores approaches to second Melissa’s assertions. Tre is peeved by their statements while Melissa and Dolores find Jackie and Margaret to share what escalated. At the bar, Teresa, Jennifer, and Danielle defend their actions. At least Teresa tries to show Jennifer the error of her ways…sort of.
Time sure flies when you’re having fun, or serving a 41-month prison sentence… Teresa Giudice’s husband, Joe Giudice, is finally seeing the end of his time in prison. But what will his release mean for Teresa and their four beautiful daughters? What will Nonno think? I have questions!! And I’m not the only one. Teresa and other Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members discussed their expectations for his release.
Let’s face it, some things will be different when Juicy Joe is a free man. He has been on the inside for a good three years. Times have changed. Not only that, but so has Teresa. Will Joe be able to orient himself to a new way of life? When he went in, Teresa was a proud “old school” Italian wife. She deferred to Joe for advice on both personal and financial matters. Now, she might want to skip the latter from this point forward. Since Joe’s incarceration, Teresa has taken it upon herself to show her newly found independence and has declared herself a “different person”.
