For all you long time Beverly Hills fans, isn’t it great to see more of Camille Grammer this year? Camille shot out of the reality show cannon during Season 1 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a woman with a take-no-prisoners attitude. She was snarky, unfiltered, elitist and more than a tad mean. You know-the perfect Housewife! And her almost comical feud with Kyle Richards was a driving force during the first season of the show.

After a humbling and humiliating public divorce from Kelsey Grammer-and maybe after seeing the public backlash to her haughty ways, Camille seemed to be a changed woman. She was a little kinder, a little gentler and was not nearly as snide or sarcastic after Season 1. Was this a new Camille? Or was she just better able to hide her mean girl ways to protect her public image? Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave might vote for option number two and she is not shy about telling us why.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer has just received some good news. And she deserves it. Viewers watched her ugly divorce from actor Kelsey Grammer play out Season 1. She was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in 2013. And Camille recently lost her Malibu home in the Woolsey fire. That had to be very traumatic.

In October 2013, Camille obtained a restraining order against her then-boyfriend, Dimitri Charalambopoulos. Camille alleged that Dimitri physically abused her in a hotel room while she was recuperating from a hysterectomy.

Last night was the weirdest, most insanely random episode of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills ever! This is RHOBH without a common enemy to direct all their wrath and delusions onto. I dunno — I loved it!

Dorit Kemsley shows up in a redneck tuxedo to Denise Richards‘ house to drink double vodka tonics at 2 in the afternoon and talk motherhood. (Denise had water since she had to pick her daughter up from school) Ha! Motherhood was about 2% of their conversation the rest was all Lisa Vanderpump. Denise liked Dorit immediately when she met her, and found her very warm and kind. That’s Dorit’s ruse — everyone feels that way about her. Initially.

Denise counsels Hollywood neophyte Dorit about handling close friends betraying you to the tabloids. When Denise was going through her divorce she actually used to run sting operations on confidantes by sharing something with them to see if it would wind up in the press, and that was how she knew who was a true friend. Despite LVP ruining her reputation, eviscerating her belief in friends, and making her question all of humanity, Dorit still wants their friendship back. Denise believes that – with time – Dorit can eventually forgive her.

Isn’t it great to be seeing more of Camille Grammer this season on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? She always adds a little something extra to the show. A bit of levity when things get crazy. And just the right amount of snark. Hopefully, Bravo will share some of her recent wedding to David C. Meyer on an upcoming episode. It is nice to watch Camille experiencing some joy, as her life has often been challenging since becoming a Housewife.

Camille has faced many adversities over the past nine seasons of Beverly Hills, including an ugly divorce from Kelsey Grammer, a battle with cancer and the recent loss of her home in the Woolsey Fire in Malibu. One sensitive matter that has not come up in the media lately is Camille’s alleged assault by then-boyfriend Dimitri Charalambopoulos in 2013. But paradise can come at a cost, as Malibu is particularly vulnerable to natural disasters. Last November, Malibu took a major hit when the Woolsey fire tore through the city. More than 400 homes were lost. Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Eileen Davidson had fire scorch her gates, but her home was saved. Camille Grammer was not so lucky, as her home was destroyed.

Bravo Needs to Bring Back These Real Housewives

As another year approaches, it is time to reflect upon the past, and dream about the future. As a reality television ~~fanatic~~ fan, my thoughts turn to which Housewives need to grace our television screens once again. Are you listening, Bravo?

Each Real Housewives franchise has seasons that are amazing and others that are ~~boring~~ less exciting. Often, the key is having the right number of newbies and franchise favorites. But what really makes sparks fly is when a Housewife returns to a show, resuming prior relationships and interacting with newer castmates. Here is my dream team of who needs to be, and deserves to be, a Housewife again.

In Season 1 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills it was a big deal when Camille Grammer went to Hawaii without her then-husband Kelsey Grammer. It was a major storyline that season and a major point of contention with then-rival Kyle Richards. Now life has come full circle for Camille. She got married to David C. Meyer in Hawaii and Kyle stood by her side as one of her bridesmaids. Oh how things have changed.

Camille Grammer Says Kelsey Grammer Acts Like She “Never Existed”; Wishes Relationship “Ended In More Civil Manner”

Even though Camille Grammer was the “villain” during Season 1 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, pretty much every viewer had sympathy for her by the end of the season. She was completely blindsided by her husband Kelsey Grammer having an affair and filing for divorce. We even had to watch her try to save her marriage by being his date at the Tony Awards after he told her the marriage was over. It was absolutely heartbreaking to see- even to the designated “villain” of the show.

Obviously, Camille is way better off without Kelsey, but it’s a shame that they seem to have no relationship these days- even for the sake of the two children that they share together. Now Camille is speaking out about her lack of relationship and the lack of acknowledgment from her ex-husband.
