Last week Brandi Glanville revealed that Kim Richards‘ dog Kingsley had bitten her twice and was part of the reason why she was so afraid of pitbulls. Today she took to Twitter to clarify what she meant.

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star had Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent on her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast last week. The two dished about dogs and Brandi shared that Kim’s dog Kingsley had bit her twice and admitted that the breed scares her to death. But now Brandi seems to be feeling a little bad about her wording and is explaining things a bit more.

Kim Richards is, once again, being sued over her dog Kingsley attacking someone. You know the dog she supposedly got rid of two years ago because of his overly-aggressive behavior. This time the plaintiff is stylist Paige Sanderson who alleges that the incident occurred at Kyle Richards‘ house, and that Kim conspired with her attorney to cover-up the incident.

Paige’s suit claims that in April she was styling Kim at Kyle’s house for a Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills related appearance, and Kingsley, now presumably registered under a new name, was restrained somewhere on the premises.

Let’s hope Kim Richards was actually telling the truth about rehoming Kingsley because he has caused nothing but problems for the already troubled Kim. Kim is, once again, being taken to court by Kay Rozario, the former family friend who sued after being attacked by Kingsley in 2014.

As a result of Kingsley’s out of control behavior, and Kim’s mismanagement of her aggressive dog, Kim was sued twice – once by a former trainer, and a second time by Kay, who alleged Kingsley attacked her while they were filming Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills at Kim’s house. Kingsley also bit Kyle Richards‘ daughter Alexia

Kim Richards is speaking out in an official statement released this afternoon via her rep.  Kim wants to explain the circumstances surrounding Kingsley’s attack on her niece, Alexia Umansky, aka Kyle Richards’ daughter.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shares, “First off let me start by saying the safety and welfare of my family means the world to me.  I love Alexia like she is my own child and have been in constant contact with my sister Kyle and niece Alexia.   The events that lead up to Kingsley biting Alexia resulted from the girls entering my bedroom after I already told them my room was off limits.  Alexia has been away from college for months and hasn’t seen Kingsley in a long time.  Kingsley is used to the home being full of children and since the kids have gone away, the house has become quiet.  While the two have been very close and friendly in the past, the dog has become very protective of me in the meantime.  When guests are over Kinglsey stays in my bedroom and has been given access to a special fenced in area in my backyard.  Anyone entering the house is made aware that the dog should not be bothered. ”
