As Jackie Goldschneider said during the premiere episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 11, Teresa Giudice has had a rough decade. Unfortunately, Teresa lost a lot of sympathy from viewers when she started spreading cheating claims about Jackie’s husband.
Prior to all that, she was just having fun on the show… for the first two seasons anyway. In Season 3, her family members Joe Gorga, Melissa Gorga, and Kathy Wakile joined the show without telling her. They feuded for years. Then, she and her now-ex-husband Joe Giudice served back-to-back jail stints. Her mother passed away. Joe Giudice got deported. Teresa and Joe Gorga’s father died. She’s definitely had a lot going on, in the public eye, while raising four daughters.
Jackie Goldschneider delivered the analogy heard around the world during last night’s Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 11 premiere episode. Or at least the Bravo world. In response to Teresa Giudice refusing to take back the cheating accusations against Evan Goldschneider, Jackie said “Gia [Giudice] does cocaine in the bathroom at parties.” She wanted Teresa to understand the pain that she felt. However, Teresa just saw red and said the “C” word several times before storming out of Margaret Josephs‘ house.
Many people wondered why Jackie just didn’t bring up the cheating claims against Teresa to create a better analogy. Or even the cheating claims against Joe Giudice. Others are just confused by Teresa’s confusion. Dorinda Medley called out Jackie for being “the lowest of the lowest.” Margaret, Melissa Gorga, and Jennifer Aydin condemned Jackie for mentioning Gia. Jackie maintained that she had zero regrets. And, ironically, she said that “children and husbands are off-limits.” There’s a ton to unpack and many Housewives are speaking out, even a former New Jersey Housewife.
Despite the extreme circumstances of back-to-back jail sentences and a deportation to Italy, Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice managed to get to an extremely amicable place as exes an co-parents. He even recently called out Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga for attempting to “destroy” Teresa’s happiness instead of just letting her enjoy in her new relationship with Luis “Louie” Ruelas. Talk about amicable!
In 2020, Joe told Wendy Williams that he was casually dating a lawyer who also lives in Italy. He didn’t mention her name though. It’s unclear if Joe is still dating that lawyer he mentioned, but he is in a serious relationship. It’s just uncertain if this woman is the lawyer he previously referenced.
When Real Housewives of New Jersey began, Teresa Giudice was all about the PDA with Joe Giudice, who she called “Juicy Joe.” She denied that they had legal troubles and stuck by his side. They both went to jail. He got deported.
Eventually, they faced the music and decided to get a divorce. And, now the two exes seem to be in a much better place. Joe even slammed Melissa Gorga a couple days ago, asking her to support Teresa and her new relationship with Luis “Louie” Ruelas instead of “trying to destroy her.” While the romance is new, Teresa is all in. They just bought a $3 million home together.
In October 2020, the news broke that Bethenny Frankel and Paul Bernon split up after two years together. Other than that update, there didn’t seem to be much more to it. There were no rumblings of drama or scandal of any kind.
She even insisted, “not everything has to end badly.” Well, apparently, the romance didn’t actually “end” after all. Or if it did, it wasn’t over for long.
Teresa Guidice has been through it. In the last five years she went to jail for a crime her husband committed, then had to raise four children alone while said husband served his own time. I won’t say his name because he deserves zero publicity and certainly not a reality series. That man also likely cheated on Tre and called her awful names. Then, in 2017, shortly after Teresa served time, her mom passed away. Her father, maker of delicious Italian dinners, soon followed in 2020.
Finally, the tables are flipping and Tre appears to be living her best life again. Season 11 of Real Housewives of New Jersey premiers tomorrow. Take a moment to think about this – has anyone ever said Tre should leave to make the show better? I really don’t think so, but I’m sure you’ll remind me in the comments! Point being, Tre is the essence of RHONJ. It looks like we’ll be seeing a whole new side of her since she traded up for a new man, Luis “Louie” Ruelas. Tre says he was sent by her parents (I believe it too), and now the couple has more news.
By all accounts, the Season 11 premiere of Real Housewives of New Jersey is the one to watch. I feel like it has been approximately 3 years since we last visited the loving family of Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga. Our very own Margaret Josephs is returning with an all new
face look. Jennifer Aydin is coming back to make you feel bad about your sad home with only two bathrooms, and Dolores Catania will continue to co-sign everything that comes out of Teresa’s mouth.
In the past Teresa has been known for her somewhat… aggressive attitude. Basically it’s Teresa’s way or the highway and if you’re not on board, good luck. Perhaps Tre’s negativity could have been due in part to her jail sentence, her ex-husband’s deportation, or the loss of her parents. But someone turned Teresa’s frown upside down and his name is Louie Ruelas. Now Jackie Goldschneider hopes Teresa will be too distracted by Louie’s
wallet love to come after her.
This is the first Real Housewives of New Jersey season where we will see a truly single Teresa Giudice. Previously, she faced cheating claims when she was photographed holding hands with a random 26-year-old guy while Joe Giudice was locked up. Now, she and Joe are officially headed toward divorce.
He’s dating a lawyer in Italy. And she’s dating Luis “Louie” Ruelas, which apparently happened after Season 11 finished filming. That means we are gonna see a lot from single Teresa, which Melissa Gorga recently discussed
because she always talks about Teresa.
