Life After Lockup is killing it this season. Every episode has had another layer of high stakes drama. Last week’s episode saw Tracie Wagaman FINALLY meet Clint Brady’s mother. I wasn’t sure if it would ever happen. Also, Megan J’s secret is out, and Michael Simmons is livid. Double standard? Probably. However, it’s gold standard reality television.
Lamar Jackson doesn’t seem to want to be around Andrea Edwards and the kids, so hopefully something changes soon. Brittany Santiago could lose everything if she keeps going against the wishes of her husband Marcelino Santiago. Stay on the right path Brittany! Finally, somehow Lizzie Kommes is worming her way back into Scott Davey’s life. HOW DID WE LET THIS HAPPEN?
This season of Life After Lockup has been phenomenal. These people are so messy, and it’s making for highly entertaining content. Andrea Edwards is NOT feeling Lamar Jackson since he’s been released. Understandably so. It seems like Brittany Santiago is on the verge of losing everything. She has to stop choosing ex-felons over her husband Marcelino Santiago.
Poor Tracie Wagaman STILL hasn’t been able to meet Clint Brady’s mother. We wonder if she ever will at this point. America’s favorite love triangle between Michael Simmons, Sarah Simmons, and Megan J is still going strong. Plus, Lizzie Kommes is on her way to surprise Scott Davey. Anything can happen in this Life After Lockup episode and leave us SHOOK like it did last week.
The dyfunctional fun continues on tonight’s new episode of Life After Lockup. Yes, there is a new episode, even on a holiday weekend!
And there is no shortage of drama. After a lot of hype, Megan J finally reveals her big secret to Michael Simmons. The last time someone revealed a “big secret” to Michael, Sarah Simmons shared that she was pregnant with Michael’s second child. Let’s just hope that Michael is not about to become a father of three. Considering that he can barely take care of himself, this just wouldn’t be the best timing. What is Megan’s secret though? Please don’t let it be a baby.
This season of Life After Lockup is already bananas. Last week’s Life After Lockup episode ended with Sarah Simmons screaming at the top of her lungs at an apathetic Michael Simmons. Lamar Jackson is finally free and hopefully will reconnect with Andrea Edwards and other family. Brittany Santiago and Marcelino Santiago continued to fight over her felon friendships. Their marriage is riddled with tension over that.
The highlight of last week was the dueling double dates that Scott Davey and Lizzie Kommes went on. Awkward with a side of even more awkward. Poor Clint Brady still cannot get his mother to accept or even meet Tracie Wagaman. No matter how much be begs and pleads, Momma isn’t having it! Eventually she’ll have to give in if he keeps pushing the idea I would assume.
Let’s be honest, last week’s episode was bonkers. None of these people should be in a relationship with each other, but here we are. Probably the most bizarre relationship is the Megan J/Michael Simmons/Sarah Simmons love triangle. It’s hard to fully grasp what they see in him to go through all the pain they do. It also seems like Andrea Edwards is on the verge of alienating her kids over her dedication to Lamar Jackson.
Brittany Santiago could lose Marcelino Santiago forever if she doesn’t stay away from her ex felon friends. She has SO MUCH to lose by slipping into old patterns. I pray that Scott Davey doesn’t take Lizzie Kommes back, but both seem to be open to reconciliation. I weirdly root for Clint Brady and Tracie Wagaman for some strange reason. It must suck that his mother has zero interest in finally meeting her. Hopefully there’s some forward progress in this all new episode.
Some of our favorite couples from Love After Lockup are back for this all-new series, and it looks so good. Life After Lockup follows five couples from the original series. Scott Davey and Lizzie Kommes are not together so it will be interesting to see what happens with them. Lamar Jackson and America’s favorite Mormon wife Andrea Edwards appear to be solid.
Brittany Santiago and Marcelino Santiago have a new baby, but people from her past could case a rift between them. Clint Brady is more determined than ever to build a solid marriage with Tracie Wagaman, but we’ll see. Finally, the love triangle of the century is back for more drama. Michael Simmons, Sarah Simmons, and Megan J are at a crossroads now that the truth about the marriage and baby are out. I wonder what relationships will be standing by season’s end
The couples from Love After Lockup are back for an all-new show: Life After Lockup! Usually, Love After Lockup has a new cast every season (with the exception of Scott Davey and Lizzie Kommes). Life After Lockup is exactly what it sounds like: following the lives of the couples after the original series.
Season 1 couple Andrea Edwards and Lamar Jackson are still going strong and will be a part of the new show. For some reason, the love triangle between Michael Simmons, Sarah Simmons, and Megan J is still going very strong. Why are these women interested in him after the antics that he pulled last season? Was this new show filmed before that one aired? This just doesn’t make any sense. Then again, two women fighting over Michael in any circumstance just doesn’t make the most sense.
Lizzie and Scott are back, again not making sense, since Season 2 ended with them living very separate lives. Is she back to steal the change from his couch cushions? Brittany Santiago and her husband Marcelino Santiago are back, this time with their baby daughter. And for some reason, Clint Brady is still trying to make things work with Tracie Wagaman. She stole relapsed, stole from him, and ghosted him. That’s not a great start to a marriage.
This week on Love After Lockup felt like a bridge episode to the final showdown between side pieces and wives, plus a little foreshadowing of breakups to come. Thanks goodness WeTV has added an extra ten episodes after the finale to continue
traumatizing their camera crew filming some of these train wrecks – plus, they’re adding a few new couples to the mix later this Spring!
But for now, we just need to catch up with missing Goddesses and confusing tooth situations. Let’s start with the teeth. Pro: Scott is still wearing his temporary dentures, which GIVES ME LIFE. Con: These new teeth ain’t gonna get him laid.
