This season of Life After Lockup is already bananas. Last week’s Life After Lockup episode ended with Sarah Simmons screaming at the top of her lungs at an apathetic Michael Simmons. Lamar Jackson is finally free and hopefully will reconnect with Andrea Edwards and other family. Brittany Santiago and Marcelino Santiago continued to fight over her felon friendships. Their marriage is riddled with tension over that.
The highlight of last week was the dueling double dates that Scott Davey and Lizzie Kommes went on. Awkward with a side of even more awkward. Poor Clint Brady still cannot get his mother to accept or even meet Tracie Wagaman. No matter how much be begs and pleads, Momma isn’t having it! Eventually she’ll have to give in if he keeps pushing the idea I would assume.
The Love After Lockup spin-off show Life After Lockup is back tonight with a brand-new episode.
Michael Simmons gets released from prison and (for some reason) Megan J is there to greet him, even though he is married to Sarah Simmons and completely played Megan all last season. Clint Brady’s mom is not happy to meet his wife Tracie Wagaman. This is very valid considering that Tracie relapsed and stole from her son before abandoning him. Andrea Edwards gets emotional when Lamar Jackson is released from his second prison stint.
Somehow, Life After Lockup cast members Tracie Wagaman and Clint Brady are still together. Even after she abandoned him, stole from him, and relapsed, he has not lost faith in his “goddess.”
Well, actually, that’s not totally true. Clint will not let go of this relationship, but does have fears that she will relapse again. This is something that he expresses during Friday’s episode of Life After Lockup, but you don’t have to wait that long to see. Reality Tea obtained an exclusive clip.

Let’s be honest, last week’s episode was bonkers. None of these people should be in a relationship with each other, but here we are. Probably the most bizarre relationship is the Megan J/Michael Simmons/Sarah Simmons love triangle. It’s hard to fully grasp what they see in him to go through all the pain they do. It also seems like Andrea Edwards is on the verge of alienating her kids over her dedication to Lamar Jackson.
Brittany Santiago could lose Marcelino Santiago forever if she doesn’t stay away from her ex felon friends. She has SO MUCH to lose by slipping into old patterns. I pray that Scott Davey doesn’t take Lizzie Kommes back, but both seem to be open to reconciliation. I weirdly root for Clint Brady and Tracie Wagaman for some strange reason. It must suck that his mother has zero interest in finally meeting her. Hopefully there’s some forward progress in this all new episode.
For the most part, every Love After Lockup couple ends the season broken up and/or with one person back in prison. Brittany Santiago and her husband Marcelino Santiago are not one of those couples. Sure, they fight just like anyone else in a relationship, but their lives have truly changed in the past year.
Brittany got out of prison. Brittany and Marcelino got married. The duo welcomed a baby girl named Zoila. Brittany’s son from a previous relationship, Giovanni, is a big part of their lives as well. And, unlike, a majority of the other cast members on this show, Brittany is not back in prison. She is not back to her old ways. Both Brittany and Marcelino are focused on moving forward. Still, there’s plenty of drama in their lives, which is why they’re a part of the Love After Lockup spin-off series Life After Lockup. The Santiagos spoke with Reality Tea about the new show and their lives since filming wrapped.
Well, that was quick. Apollo Nida, ex-husband of former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, was released from prison in early June. He had been serving time after being arrested for identity theft, bank fraud, and other charges. While his biggest crime might have been getting married to Phaedra in the first place, he does share two beautiful children with her. The couple began divorce proceedings in 2014. Phaedra has since moved on with Tone
Loc Kapone and Apollo is currently engaged. Also, has Phaedra ever dated anyone named Bob or does she have a thing about unusual first names?
Apollo was originally supposed to “go asunder” for 8 whole years, but had his pokey term reduced by one year. At the beginning of June, Apollo was back on the streets with
next ex-wife fiance, Sherien Almufti. Apparently, their love of being reunited was not strong enough to conquer Apollo’s rebel spirit. Either that or he missed his meals being served on a cafeteria tray.
Some of our favorite couples from Love After Lockup are back for this all-new series, and it looks so good. Life After Lockup follows five couples from the original series. Scott Davey and Lizzie Kommes are not together so it will be interesting to see what happens with them. Lamar Jackson and America’s favorite Mormon wife Andrea Edwards appear to be solid.
Brittany Santiago and Marcelino Santiago have a new baby, but people from her past could case a rift between them. Clint Brady is more determined than ever to build a solid marriage with Tracie Wagaman, but we’ll see. Finally, the love triangle of the century is back for more drama. Michael Simmons, Sarah Simmons, and Megan J are at a crossroads now that the truth about the marriage and baby are out. I wonder what relationships will be standing by season’s end
