This has definitely been a frustrating charter season for Below Deck Mediterranean star Hannah Ferrier. She had tension with pretty much everyone on the boat except for Lauren Cohen– and then there’s that whole hookup with a charter guest and what I’ve started to call iPad-gate.
The drama sounds like a lot to handle and then on top of that she actually has a job to do which seems like a whole lot of work.
Either Malia White is the world’s most desirable woman, or the crew of this season’s Below Deck Mediterranean has extreme cabin fever. Practically everyone but the anchor has developed romantic feelings for young Malia! Last week, when Malia’s superior – and number one love interest – Wes Walton chose Malia to be second in command over more experienced deckhand Bobby Giancola all hell broke loose.
The backlash Malia has recently received online seems to be troubling her, as she posted a few clap-backs to the fans and “haters” out there who question her professionalism, not to mention her manipulation of dueling suitors, Chef Adam Glick and Wes. Captain Sandy Yawn also came to Malia’s defense on Twitter, writing, “Wes made his decision. Malia was the right decision cause of her interest on the bridge. She was always asking me q’s about navigation.”
As season two of Below Deck Mediterranean cruises on, the tangled web of a love triangle between Chef Adam Glick, Bosun Wesley Wiz Walton, and newly promoted second-in-command, Malia White, is starting to unravel. I bet Malia is really regretting not properly vetting Adam for being a jealous psycho, because it’s really becoming more and more of an issue. Granted, it doesn’t look like Malia is so innocent either – someone needs to pick a coworker to hook up with and just stick with the one. Please, I’m begging you!
Crew drama aside, the most recent charter guests are a real handful, specifically because one of them is a yacht broker, who can easily make and break everyone’s career. So all the Malia nonsense will have to wait while the crew comes together to try and knock the socks off their guests. Too bad the one thing they can’t control is the weather and the weather doesn’t give a flying fig that a yacht broker is on board.

The second season of Below Deck Mediterranean is definitely exceeding all expectations. The drama is never ending. From Malia White’s love triangle with Adam Glick and Wes Walton to Hannah Ferrier’s unexpected hookup with a charter guest, there is something crazy happening during every charter.
Lauren Cohen and Max Hagley have stayed out of the fray (for the most part), but that didn’t stop them for sharing their opinions and hinting at what to expect from the rest of the season when they talked with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.
Does anyone else hate it when we don’t get a fresh episode for the week? I can’t even remember what I had for breakfast let alone what happened two weeks ago on Below Deck Mediterranean.
Good thing Bravo is there to catch us up with a quick clip of what’s happened in general: Chef Adam Glick spites guests with onions and also hooked up with Deckhand Malia White before the charter started. Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier did some hooking up of her own with a primary charter guest, which led to Christine “Bugsy” Drake to read her private messages with said guest and tell everyone about it. Bobby Giancola and Max Hagley were happy to help spread the gossip. Lauren Cohen was the only one who stayed on Hannah’s side.
Even though Captain Sandy Yawn stays out of the crew drama on Below Deck Mediterranean, she does have opinions on all the major story lines that have gone down this season. The biggest story by far is Malia White’s love triangle with Wes Walton and Adam Glick. Other than that, Adam’s comment about Bugsy Drake being a better stewardess than Hannah Ferrier put him at the center of the second biggest issue this season: the stewardess tension.
Captain Sandy is not into the drama enough to truly take sides, but she does have some words of wisdom and personal insight about both of these dramatic situations.
Nearly all the guys on this season of Below Deck Mediterranean has a thing for Malia White, but the love triangle with Adam Glick and Wes Walton has dominated the story lines. And now Malia is taking ownership for her role at the center of this drama and doing her best to explain herself.
Malia is not an evil villain by any means, but she definitely got caught up in the boy madness and she’s apologizing for all of the drama.
