D’Andra Simmons‘ finances are none of my business, but I have always been pretty perplexed by her financial situation. I remember when LeeAnne Locken said she had $200 in her bank account and Brandi Redmond got D’Andra a necklace she wanted but didn’t (or couldn’t?) buy at the time.
We’ve seen D’Andra ask her mom Momma Dee Simmons to cut back her money received from their company. We’ve seen a lot of confusing conversations between them about their company and family finances. This season. D’Andra talked about the drama behind her late father’s second will and how the money she received put her at odds with some family members. It’s all so confusing to me (and again, none of my business), but it seems like D’Andra and her company are doing much better these days.
Tiffany Moon has had to talk Brandi Redmond off a ledge all season on The Real Housewives of Dallas. There’s no reason for it. She’s not responsible for Brandi feeling uncomfortable. Every event turns into a therapy session needed to coddle Brandi’s fragility. That needs to stop. Tiffany has nothing to do with Brandi’s paranoia. That’s all on her.
D’Andra Simmons has showcased her spiritual journey all season of Real Housewives of Dallas. Even though the shaman stuff is a little weird at times, if it’s helping her, that’s what matters. She’s opening herself up to snide comments and criticism from the other women by hosting them for her shaman event. This tends to be a very judgmental group. I don’t think this is going to turn out the way she’s intending.
Real Housewives of Dallas finally returned and Season 5 started with a bang. Brandi Redmond cried because she made an ignorant video, but she’s totally sorry so it’s apparently okay. Kary Brittingham is complaining about food and lowkey bullying people to take shots after a season of complaining about LeeAnne Locken’s bullying and complaining. And D’Andra Simmons is having some random dude stick a tube up her nose to suck out any bad juju residing in her sinus cavity.
Yep, it’s strange but it’s what we’re working with. There’s a lot going on, the ladies are filming during the pandemic. Sometimes it’s difficult to keep up with the new guidelines or what’s happening with each person. While Mama Dee’s Queen of Sheba wig will live rent free in all of our minds forever, not everything sticks. So while D’Andra is getting haunted smoke blown in her face from the shaman in an effort to improve her life, she is also taking notes to give to producers to improve her scenes.
Technically speaking, Real Housewives of Dallas is an ensemble show. However, all roads led back to LeeAnne Locken for the first four seasons of the show. So, how is RHOD going to fare now that LeeAnne is gone?
Now that LeeAnne is done with the Real Housewife life, she’s spilling some tea on her former castmates. And, apparently, she’s actually friends with… wait for it, Kary Brittingham, of all people. Now that is a twist that I never saw coming, especially since LeeAnne left the show following the offensive comments she made about Kary’s Mexican heritage. How on earth did these two become friends?
It is is a tough time all around the world thanks to the Coronavirus outbreak. Many people are sick. Health professionals are working hard around the clock. So many businesses have closed, leaving many people without a paycheck.
However, that’s not the case for the Hollman Lockers employees. Real Housewives of Dallas star Stephanie Hollman’s husband Travis Hollman has pledged to pay all of his employees their normal salaries even though many of them are confined to their homes in quarantine.
Real Housewives Of Dallas came to an end last night in a dramatic and intense reunion focused on whether or not LeeAnne Locken is racist.
We all knew that the bulk of Part 2 was going to be spent on this subject. So after D’Andra Simmons was given a platform to gush about turning around Hard Night Good Morning and salvaging her relationship with Mama Dee, Andy Cohen got right into the matter of LeeAnne’s behavior in Thailand and the racially charged comments she made about Kary Brittingham.
First of all, Andy is FED. UP! I’ve never seen him so combative or out and out confrontational towards a Real Housewife as he was with LeeAnne last night. Of course, LeeAnne was trying to blame production for everything she did, and if there’s one thing Andy despises it’s a Housewife who tries to blame Bravo for her actions. I’m surprised LeeAnne didn’t accuse editing of dubbing the phrase “chirpy Mexican” into her mouth.
Last night was part 1 of the Real Housewives Of Dallas reunion and it was more than abundantly clear that everyone was ready for the LeeAnne Locken stranglehold to end. Those hands… they are stuffed and swollen with filler and cannot hold on!! Even Andy Cohen was geared up for battle.
And then there was Kameron Westcott who made up her own language, which was a combination of gibberish and pig latin, and I’m pretty sure she prepared for this reunion by watching Legally Blonde and believing she was winning at court. (She wasn’t).
First Brandi Redmond updates everyone on the status of adopting Bruin’s sibling. Brandi and Bryan had made the decision to go through with the adoption but the birth mother unfortunately lost the baby. Brandi took the news hard and the only person she told was real-life BFF Stephanie Hollman.
Last night was the season finale of Real Housewives Of Dallas and I’m gonna miss these girls. Well except for LeeAnne Locken. I won’t miss her.
Last night showed us The Rise of The Kam as Kameron Westcott, our tall beautiful starling soared free from the barbed wire nest LeeAnne built for her on the side of a Highland Park mansion. HA — as if LeeANne could afford anything but a bus stop in Highland Park! Well, we know why the caged bird sings about baby elephants, right.
In Thailand, where LeeAnne’s xenophobia reared it’s ugly be-weaved and overly injected head, Kam wrestled with her conscience about whether or not to tell Kary Brittingham that LeeAnne not only called her THE C WORD, but made multiple slurs about her being Mexican. Like that little gem when LeeAnne affected an overplayed Mexican accent and asked Stephanie Hollman if Kary might be able to understand them better if they “spoke Mexican.” Newp – not racist at all!
