Last night on Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition, Karl Dargan faced the music for his FaceTime rendezvous with his mistress downstairs as his wife, Lil Mo slept upstairs. It’s as if this man doesn’t know he is in a house with CAMERAS to fix his marriage. He actually asks the woman to tell him she loves him before he goes back to bed. If Lil Fizz hadn’t walked into the kitchen who knows what else would have been said. Wow… SMH. This man has no respect for his wife or their relationship.
The experts view the tape. Dr. Ish asks who he was talking to and he has the nerve to say it was his sister. Ummm….My brother has NEVER called me at 2 AM and asked me to say I love him. Weird, that he would even use his sister as an excuse. After, Dr. Ish tells Karl he has to tell his wife about the conversation. Then, He runs to his room to let Lil Mo “they can see everything.” Of course, she and everyone knew this house was full of cameras, except for Karl apparently.
Last night on Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition, Tiffany Campbell confronted Lil Fizz about his relationship with Nia Riley. She is very unhappy with how cozy the picture of him and Nia appears. Lil Fizz claims they are just friends, but is also extremely defensive when questioned. At this point, I don’t even know why it matters. This has man has done everything, besides putting it on a billboard, to show Tiffany he has no real interest in her. Her questions would be valid if they were in a relationship, but given their circumstances, it should just be another reason to move on. Is Nia interested in Fizz as more than a friend?
Tiffany continues to grill him on Nia. She wants to know how many times have they hung out. Lil Fizz tells her people have always been there when they have seen each other. She is upset that Nia has been around his son and she hasn’t. Fizz tells her to get over it and find someone who isn’t a public figure. He is tired of people asking him about Nia when she is in a relationship. She asks Nia directly and her story is different. At this point, who cares? They are not in a relationship and he doesn’t seem to ever want to be in one. His contempt for her practically leaps off the screen.
Last night’s episode of Marriage Bootcamp: Hip Hop Edition was full of drama and jealousy. What will happen when you swap partners with a group of insecure and egotistical personalities? I can already see the smoke before the fire ignites. Soulja Boy gets up to attempt to make slop breakfast for the house. The end result actually didn’t look bad and he did it with swag. It’s sad. He can be nice to others in the house, but so rude to his girlfriend Nia Riley.
The couples are called to the Marriage Boot Camp room and everyone praises Soulja Boy for cooking breakfast. The couples are shocked when they are immediately whisked into a chaotic social media junket. They are hit with tough questions designed to rattle them. The press touches on everything from cheating, stripping, prolonged engagements and everything in between. Waka Flocka and Tammy Rivera become the most defensive in the group, after being asked to explain infidelity in their marriage. Waka even threatens one of the members of the press, who he felt disrespected his wife.
Last night on Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition the couples worked on teamwork. Honestly, with this pack of divas and divos, it should definitely be interesting seeing them attempt to share the spotlight. Soulja Boy gets up in the morning, doing what he does best… getting on Nia Riley’s nerves. He complains because she didn’t bring him breakfast in bed. Sigh… it has to be hard dating a man child. She dutifully goes back downstairs to cook and bring him the food. We will see who makes the best duo and who is better off solo!
All the couples report to the Marriage Bootcamp room. There are gift bags with each couples’ names on them. When they open the bags, they discover a pair of 7-XL sweat pants that look like they were borrowed from My 600 Pound Life. The experts reveal that each couple has to fit inside and wear them together. Everyone is assigned a list of tasks they must complete while in their pants. I literally screamed laughing, watching them trying to navigate around. Obviously, I just like seeing people make fools of themselves. Naturally, everyone is annoyed and lashing out on one another. But I think Soulja Boy and Nia made this exercise the brutal.
Last night on Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition, the couples contemplate who to blame for their issues. This should be interesting because I can’t see Soulja Boy as the type to admit when he is wrong. If he isn’t reminding us he is rich, he is screaming at his girlfriend, Nia Riley. They say patience is a virtue, but you have to be almost a saint to deal with his nonsense. She definitely is not a saint, but I don’t think she is bad. During last night’s Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition episode, we found out which couples were able to take the heat… literally.
Lil Mo and Karl Dargan start the day arguing about the comments she made about him not having anything without her. He feels like her thinking is extremely disrespectful. I think they both are right, it’s disrespectful to throw your wealth and fame in his face, but it’s probably true. He may be a boxer, but I had never heard about him until he appeared on TV shows with his wife.
Last night was the season premiere of Marriage Bootcamp: Hip Hop Edition. This is one of my favorite shows, especially the reality stars franchise. I can’t wait to see some of the most controversial reality stars in hip hop all in one house! This is going to be a recipe for disaster, but I am here for it!
First, Waka Flocka and his wife of four years, Tammy Rivera, arrive at the house. Shortly after, Lil Mo and her husband, Karl Dargan show up. Lil Mo has a lot of trust issues due to the infidelity and lies that have plagued their marriage. Next, Tiffany Campbell, Lil Fizz’s (AKA Drew) ex, arrives all alone. She claims they broke up two months ago and she feels he runs from their issues. After, Jessica Dime and Shawne Williams arrive at the house together next. Shawne feels like despite being engaged for two years, there are changes that need to be made before he is willing to walk down the aisle.
This season of Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition is featuring some of the most controversial reality stars from the hip hop industry. If you have watched any of the seasons of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta and Hollywood franchises and R&B Divas you know that this has all of the components of reality television gold. There will definitely be drama, cheating accusations, and a ton of relationship issues.
So much reality TV, so little time. We are thankful for DVR since there are a lot of time conflicts with some reality TV great shows. Check out our reality TV listings of shows to watch this week!
