It was difficult to have high expectations going into the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion. We all knew that Lisa Vanderpump ditched the reunion, so what would the ladies have to talk about? As it turns out, plenty! Who knew that Camille Grammer would be the explosive ghost pepper hot sauce poured over a potentially bland reunion?
Of course, we all know Camille is outspoken and occasionally catty. But she is usually calm, cool and collected, carefully shooting her arrows with marksman-like precision. At the reunion, Camille has been angry, confrontational and unafraid to call it like she sees it. Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, Kyle Richards and Denise Richards have all been on her raging radar. Camille feels she has been unfairly targeted and is ready to defend herself.
When I sat down to write this post, I decided to refresh my recollection regarding the messy divorce between Camille Meyer (f/k/a Camille Grammer) and Kelsey Grammer. First of all, Camille filed for divorce in 2010. I remember watching an episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in which Camille and Kelsey awkwardly rode to the Tony Awards together. They were in the back of a limo. Camille was wearing a red dress and looked amazing. Kelsey was mean to her. Soon after it came out that Kelsey was having an affair.
Anyway, to bring this story back to the really important point: how it relates to me… That episode aired 2009/10-ish? Which means I have wasted at least ten years of my life watching this drivel. Forget the Tony that Kelsey was speeding towards in the back of that limo a decade-ish ago! I deserve some sort of lifetime achievement award from Bravo. I will accept my award in the form of Skinnygirl products.
Well, here we go. In the final episodes leading up to the end of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills 9th season, the drama continues. Thankfully it does not involve any four-legged creatures. Now that Lisa Vanderpump has been removed from our screens, the ladies cannot continue to shove #puppygate down our throats. Thankfully we still have Camille Grammer. Camille seems to have no fear and is perfect for reality television. That means she gives no f*cks.
Camille and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave have had a bit of a tumultuous relationship. They can never seem to wind up on the same page, despite continued efforts to socialize. Teddi even attended Camille’s wedding to David C. Meyer in Hawaii. It was on that fateful trip that Teddi once again gave Camille a reason to bare her fangs. At the airport, Camille’s daughter Mason Grammer said hello to always accountable Teddi. Then Teddi ALLEGEDLY ignored Mason’s greeting. No one ignores Camille 007’s daughter. Now, Teddi has responded.
Camille Grammer has come back in a big way on this season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She has had a huge presence on the show and it is mystifying why she is not on full-time Housewife status. I assume her status might have been her choice as producers probably would have jumped at the chance to have her back full-time.
We have been treated to Camille at her snarkiest this season, savagely trashing co-stars Lisa Vanderpump and Teddi Mellencamp-Arroyave. And last week’s episode of the show was all about Camille’s beautiful wedding to David C. Meyer. She looked gorgeous and the wedding setting in Hawaii was stunning. Behind the scenes, however, not everything was as perfect as it appeared as Camille has revealed that not everyone was happy with her remarriage.
Lisa Vanderpump’s empire just keeps on growing! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG and Vanderpump Rules star just opened up the Vanderpump Cocktail Garden in Las Vegas.
The event was very Lisa with touches of pink everywhere for the big opening. Lisa’s husband Ken Todd was there, of course. So were their two kids Pandora Vanderpump and Max Todd. And once again, I’m wondering why they have different last names. But I’ve digressed. Pretty much everyone from the Vanderpump Rules cast was there. Even Lisa’s beloved dog Giggy. However, there was only one Real Housewife of Beverly Hills at the opening.
When you think of Malibu, what comes to mind? Probably beautiful beaches, expensive real estate and the chance of running into a celebrity at the grocery store. Some of the wealthiest people in the world call Malibu their home. As an occasional visitor to Malibu myself, I know that the community is a little bit of paradise.
But paradise can come at a cost, as Malibu is particularly vulnerable to natural disasters. Last November, Malibu took a major hit when the Woolsey fire tore through the city. More than 400 homes were lost. Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Eileen Davidson had fire scorch her gates, but her home was saved. Camille Grammer was not so lucky, as her home was destroyed.
|The Real Housewives franchise may have become the realm where marriages go to die, or maybe it’s a shiny object unhappy spouses have dangled in front of their significant others to distract them from the reality of their situation.|
The first victim of this method may very well have been Camille Grammer, OG cast member from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
When I was scrolling through Instagram and saw that Camille Grammer was on vacation in Hawaii, I could not help flashing back to her iconic Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 1 feud with Kyle Richards. The origin of their discord happened off camera when they were discussing Camille’s spring break plans that didn’t include her then-husband Kelsey Grammer. Looking back, that explanation sounds so lame, but the argument that ensued was nothing short of legendary.
More than anything, I wish that initial conversation was filmed, but the fact that it wasn’t added some mystery and intrigue to the Camille vs. Kyle fight. Plus we got that amazing Kyle F bomb when she declared, “You’re such a f***ing liar Camille.” Nevertheless, there’s no way that I could ever see anything about Camille and Hawaii and not picture her complaining that Kyle questioned her for going to Hawaii without Kelsey.
