Last night was part three of the Real Housewives Of Orange County reunion. Which means this bizarre season is finally over. Part 3 was all about Shannon Beador, as pretty much every part of everything is. As Shannon said, “I’m sorry for being me me me me me!”
Is Shannon crazy? Is Shannon an emotional wreck? Are the voices in Shannon’s head actually Tamra Judge reading a script from David Beador‘s iPhone on how to manipulate and condescend Shannon into a meltdown? #yes
But first a Kelly Dodd montage! Kelly is dating, dating, dating and ignoring
Jolie who Michael Dodd is dating. But Vicki Gunvalson isn’t! Obviously, she is very invested in what is going on in Michael’s life.
Andy Cohen usually avoids picking sides at all costs. He stirs the pot here and there when it comes to the Bravolebrities, but getting emotionally invested is not a common occurrence. He admitted that there is one exception. On last night’s Watch What Happens Live, Andy told Jenni Pulos that he “hates” this fight with her and Jeff Lewis.
Andy disliking drama? Are pigs flying? Apparently so. Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Emily Simpson was also in the Bravo clubhouse- primarily to discuss Shannon Beador, as expected.
On last night’s Real Housewives Of Orange County it was a reversal of the status quo. The Tres Amiga’s took their party hats off to stay home in pant hose. Gina Kirschencasita celebrated her 34th birthday with a depressing party filled with tarnished sequins.
Gina is officially moving into the casita when Matt Kirschenheiter visits their kids. This makes it, like, for real you guys. It’s time for her to grow up and, like, look at the like bank statements for the first time in her entire life. Kelly Dodd, Gina’s divorce guru, helps her cart baskets full of HomeGoods throw pillows and cheap blankets to the part-time living arrangement. It’s sort of like moving into a college dorm!
For Kelly Dodd’s first two seasons on Real Housewives of Orange County, she was essentially Vicki Gunvalson’s sole supporter. Now that Vicki is on good terms with Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador again, she’s all “Kelly who?” She completely broke girl code by setting up Kelly’s super recent ex Michael Dodd with another woman and going on double dates with the two of them and her boyfriend Steve Lodge.
On top of that, she kept the whole thing a secret, and had zero remorse for being shady. Now this whole thing has snowballed and the former close friends are not even on speaking terms these days.
When Kelly Dodd joined Real Housewives of Orange County, she quickly became Vicki Gunvalson’s sole friend in the cast. This season, that could not be further from the truth. After Vicki and her man Steve Lodge went on secretive double dates with Kelly’s ex Michael Dodd after setting him up with a friend, Kelly was (understandably) upset with Vicki for breaking girl code.
Sure, they “made up,” but the tension has been thick between the two of them ever since. Watching the show back and commenting on their past arguments in interviews and on social media definitely hasn’t helped the situation. Nowadays it’s clear that these two are not on speaking terms and they are bound to be arguing with each other on opposite couches when they tape the reunion.
It seemed like it was out of left field when Kelly Dodd accused Vicki Gunvalson’s boyfriend Steve Lodge of being with her for money. Steve has always seemed like a standup guy, especially in comparison to other men Vicki has dated. Nevertheless, Kelly still insists that Steve is not with Vicki for the right reasons.
Kelly accused Vicki of convincing Steve to spread lies about her in the press. On top of that, Steve and Vicki were going on secretive double dates with Kelly’s ex-husband Michael Dodd and a woman that Vicki introduced him to. Needless to say, Steve is on Kelly’s shit list and so is Vicki.
Love her or hate her, longtime Real Housewives of Orange County viewers cannot deny that Vicki Gunvalson brings a lot to the show. There are Vicki-centered story lines in almost every episode of this show. During the last RHOC episode, Kelly Dodd and Tamra Judge claimed that Vicki’s boyfriend Steve Lodge is only with her for money.
We’ve seen this story line with all of Vicki’s relationships, so there is nothing novel about it, but it still infuriates Vicki as much as it always has.
Out of all the husbands (and boyfriends) in Real Housewives history, Vicki Gunvalson’s man Steve Lodge seems to be one of the least opportunistic of them all. However, that’s not what Vicki’s friend-turned-frienemy Kelly Dodd is claiming. She told Tamra Judge that Steve is only with Vicki for her money. Nevertheless, it seem like appearing on Real Housewives of Orange County is the last thing that Steve wants to do.
Of course, Tamra did what she does best: stirred the pot. She told Vicki what Kelly said the next time she saw her. To be honest, that was the right thing to do, especially if Kelly was spreading that around to other people (which she most likely was), but it’s also setting up a major explosion the next time Vicki and Kelly see each other in person. Not only that, but Tamra also questioned if Steve really loved Vicki… even though she just told him to marry Vicki during the previous episode.
