Joe Giudice on RHONJ

During Joe Giudice‘s stint in prison for fraud, we did not hear much about him. Sure, wife Teresa Giudice talked about Joe once in a while on the Real Housewives of New Jersey or in the media, but his time in prison was mostly low-key. As it is meant to be! However, since Joe’s release from prison in March, we have been given frequent updates on the status of his ongoing deportation case. Joe’s decision to not become a U.S. citizen backfired, resulting in deportation proceedings commencing against him.

In April, Joe’s appeal to ICE to stay in the country was denied, meaning he would be deported. Later that month, he achieved a legal victory when the courts agreed to look at his case again. In May, Joe was given approval to remain in the U.S. while waiting for a decision regarding his deportation. The legal wrangling continued on over the summer, until Joe finally requested to be allowed to return to Italy to await the decision on his case. Now, there is an update in the ongoing legal saga.

Joe Giudice Suffers Setback In Deportation Case

If only Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Joe Giudice had worked half as hard making an honest living as he has with trying to stay in the U.S., he wouldn’t even be in this predicament.

Ever since he was found guilty of fraud back in 2014, Joe has been faced with the possibility of being deported to Italy. And it appears as though Joe’s time in the U.S. is limited.

RHONJ-Teresa-Giudice

It’s unclear what sort of internet access Joe Giudice had while he was in prison, but there’s no doubt that his family members have been following along with the news stories while he’s been locked up. His wife Teresa Giudice has been photographed holding hands with Blake Schreck, a man in his twenties.

She also said on the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion that she would divorce Joe if he gets deported. Not only that, but her own social media posts aren’t doing the RHONJ star any favors. Of course, she doesn’t post photos of every single thing that she does, but sure seems to be out on the town a lot these days.

Joe Giuidice exasperated

Safe to say Joe Giudice is on pins and needles today. The husband of Real Housewives of New Jersey felon star, Teresa Giudice has been in ICE custody since his “release” from prison. Joe and his wife both served camp jail sentences for multiple federal charges, including bankruptcy and mail fraud. The parents of four had their terms split up so their kids would always have one of them at home. Teresa ovaried up and did her time like a champ. After her release, she only had a short time with her husband before his 41-month sentence began.

Joe did his time too, but there was one little problem. His lack of US citizenship. Because Joe never sought the correct paperwork to render him legal, he was immediately up for deportation after camp time was over. Joe has been appealing the deportation order from the get-go. Leaving his family and starting over in another country wasn’t on his agenda. It wasn’t on Teresa’s either. She admitted on the Season 9  RHONJ reunion, she and the girls would not follow Joe if he were sent back to Italy. Now it looks like Juicy Joe could finally get a break. The wait for Joe’s possible release from custody might be putting Teresa on pins and needles too. But it’s for a completely different reason.

There are some reality TV stars’ kids that we have literally watched grow up throughout the years. It’s crazy to think that Real Housewives of New Jersey viewers saw Teresa Giudice pregnant with Audriana Giudice during the Season 1 reunion. Now, she is a fifth grader. Do you feel old yet? I do. How about this one: Gia Giudice is a freshman in college.

Jersey Shore fans saw Snooki and JWoww go from hard-partying roomies to devoted moms. Now, their kids are in school too. And just like most other moms, reality TV stars took (and shared) photos of their kids’ first day of school.

Joe Giuidice exasperated

Joe Giudice has been winning tiny victories here and there regarding his deportation appeal, but the battle is far from over. In 2014, Teresa Giudice’s husband was sentenced to 41 months in the pokey for federal fraud. Even people who do not watch reality television knew Tre was sentenced to 15 months in “camp” after pleading guilty to charges. Teresa served her time and went right back to filming. Now she is enjoying her new pool, an ALLEGED new man, and more screen time than ever on Real Housewives of New Jersey. Who says crime doesn’t pay?

The same cannot be said for Juicy Joe. In the past, Joe has said going to jail would be like a vacation. For all intents and purposes, if you find yourself married to Teresa – the pokey might actually be a respite. It could be safe to say Joe no longer feels that way. Since being released in March of this year, Joe was immediately detained in ICE custody. While Teresa travels and tries out new boyfriends hairstyles, the four daughters she shares with Joe miss their dad terribly. The children have been very vocal about wanting their father to avoid deportation, both Miliania and Gia Giudice have made public pleas in an effort to keep Joe in the United States. Recently, another request from Joe’s attorneys has been granted. Once again, his desire to remain in the US hangs in the balance.

Real Housewives Of New Jersey Stars Attend Melissa Gorga’s Fashion Show- Check Out The Photos

For a long time, Kim D’s fashion show was a Real Housewives of New Jersey staple. Who could forget Teresa Giudice chasing Danielle Staub around that country club? However, Kim D and Teresa are done and there’s a new fashion show to attend.

The entire Real Housewives of New Jersey cast showed up for the Envy by Melissa Gorga fashion show. Well, almost the entire cast. In not-so-shocking news, Danielle was not there. However, her status as a “cast member” is perpetually unclear.

Are the Giudices just fighting a losing battle? Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Joe Giudice should cross the White House off his list of supporters.

Even though Joe and his family have been VERY public in their plea to keep him here it isn’t enough for the President to intervene.
