Could you imagine if Pump Restaurant was actually called Leakes Restaurant instead? Apparently, that almost happened. NeNe Leakes claims that she was the person who originally wanted to run a restaurant at that property.
Not only that, but she also says that Lisa Vanderpump convinced her not to pursue the project. Did she trick NeNe out of buying it so she could do so herself?
The Real Housewives of AtlantaTokyo trip was full of passive aggression and some straight up aggression. NeNe Leakes held up the entire group with her lateness multiple times. She upset Tanya Sam, who actually seems like a normal, non-shady human being. Unfortunately, no one in the cast jumped to Tanya’s defense. Instead, they all kissed NeNe’s ass, as per usual, as if she signs their paychecks.
Eva Marcille read Marlo Hampton to filth while wearing $1,200 flip flops on the bus. Who knew she had it in her? Maybe she really does deserve to hold that peach! Porsha Williamsannounced her pregnancy to the cast members who were out of the loop. And of course, they all tried their best to pull off some Japanese-inspired fashions. Did they hit it out of the park? Or will their fashions spark outrage over cultural appropriation? This is 2019, after all.
Last night the ladies of Real Housewives of Atlanta continued to terrorize Tokyo. But not their tour guide Aya. The only thing which upsets her is poor time management. Calling someone out of their name, insulting their parenting, waist size, wardrobe budget, identity, and relationship status does not phase Aya.But, being 15 minutes late brings out the AI-YA! in her. She will drive that bus away while you’re chasing it down in 6″ heels!
Tanya is upset because NeNe suggested she and Paul Judge might not get married over her fortune at the temple. She feels NeNe is belittling her relationship. NeNe continues screaming that she was shading everyone’s fortunes. The verbal abuse causes Tanya to burst into tears.
Obviously everyone rushes to defend NeNe while making fun of Tanya for having human emotions and a life beyond this culture of ‘shade’ which dominates Real Housewives Of Atlanta.
It also seems like every second there’s a different fight! First NeNe’s argument with Tanya Sam spirals out of control, prompting NeNe to storm out of their lunch and take a taxi back to the hotel. Later, NeNe opens up to Cynthia Bailey about how much she is struggling to support Gregg. Things with NeNe go from bad to worse when she is left out of the next day’s activities.
Is there such a thing as “too much” reality TV? We don’t think so. Even so, there are a lot of shows to keep track of! We are here to make your TV viewing a little bit easier. Check out our reality TV listings of shows to watch this week!
Kon’nichiwa! Last night the Real Housewives Of Atlanta landed in Tokyo, Japan. Where they squabbled over semantics and blatantly disrespected the country’s culture, you know – the usual Real Housewives travel antics!
By the way the title of this recap “Shitsureidesu ne” means “How Rude” in Japanese. Only fitting, right.
And certainly it’s not all fun and Cynthia Bailey‘s games in the land of the red sun, when Eva receives some devastating news that almost causes her to leave early. Meanwhile NeNe Leakes worries about leaving Gregg in the midst of his battle with cancer, and feels guilty about the struggles she’s experiencing as his caregiver. Basically the Nurse NeNe role isn’t working out – who would’ve thought?! (Sarcasm)
