We don’t get to see a ton of Tanya Sam on Real Housewives of Atlanta, but when we do we get to witness someone who’s clearheaded, well-rounded, and not sweating the small stuff. In other words, she’s a breath of fresh air among women arguing about overpriced flip flops and rehashing drama from three years ago.
We first “met” Tanya as a friend of NeNe Leakes en route to Cynthia Bailey’s Bailey-Cue event. A few episodes later, her title on the show describes her as “Eva [Marcille]’s friend,” which is some super shady editing. Nevertheless, there’s much more to Tanya than who she’s friends with. Unfortunately, we just don’t get to see all of her dimension on the show. Thankfully, Tanya recently opened up to Reality Tea for an exclusive interview. She provided some valuable insights and spilled some behind-the-scenes info about her first season on the show.
While Porsha Williams is headed towards the altar, NeNe Leakes is headed towards the divorce court – again – on Real Housewives Of Atlanta.
It was a night of changes galore for the ladies of Real Housewives Of Atlanta. And despite what Japanese fortunes may have predicted, everyone’s lives were shifting and sliding in various directions. Just like the empty old wine bottles Cynthia Bailey wants to affix to the walls of her new wine bar.
I mean Jesus told Cynthia to do it and she is a “prayer of Jesus” who says recycle thy juice of the holy spirit. Or maybe that’s just Cynthia’s way of hiding how much wine she and her fellow Housewives consume?
Tonight the Real Housewives Of Atlanta are back from Japan and absence did not make NeNe Leakes‘ heart grow fonder for Gregg Leakes! I mean if you’re fighting from across the Pacific, you know things have got to be bad.
Despite her frustrations with Gregg, NeNe still tries to be supportive as he heads into surgery to repair his colon. But once again, as the caregiver, her needs are ignored so she turns to trusted friends Cynthia Bailey and Marlo Hampton.
Last night the Real Housewives Of Atlanta ended their trip to Tokyo with some tears, but plenty of laughs. I never thought we’d see a Real Housewives trip end without a major blowout fight. However, it turns out pickles make people laugh, they make people love, and they make people forget all their rude thoughts! More pickles for the reunion, Andy Cohen!
Over in Japan Dennis McKinley is missing Porsha Williams so much he sends her a bouquet of flowers that looks like the vegetation in a Super Mario Brothers game from the 90’s.
This so-called arrangement was a hot mess that was bursting out of its box – just like Porsha’s boobs were bursting out of her top. Some mad science definitely was being used to keep those things taped. She was one sneeze away from an explosion. NASA has better things to do, y’all!
On tonight’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta, the women are still in Tokyo but they are finally coming together to throw Eva Marcille the type of raunchy bachelorette party every real Housewife deserves – complete with inappropriate use of pickles, samurai strippers, and plenty of unwanted advice!
First the ladies take a samurai lesson which has them using head-to-head combat (and wooden swords) instead of words to over differences of opinions, but the exercise proves to soften a long-standing rivalry. Bravo isn’t sharing who’s who, but I’m guessing that Porsha Williams and Kandi Burruss finally stop hating each other.
Last night the ladies of Real Housewives of Atlanta continued to terrorize Tokyo. But not their tour guide Aya. The only thing which upsets her is poor time management. Calling someone out of their name, insulting their parenting, waist size, wardrobe budget, identity, and relationship status does not phase Aya.But, being 15 minutes late brings out the AI-YA! in her. She will drive that bus away while you’re chasing it down in 6″ heels!
The episode starts in the sushi restaurant with NeNe Leakes screaming at Tanya Sam that she does “not give a f–k!” about Tanya and her fiancé Paul. All very kind words from someone who is supposed to be Tanya’s friend.
Tanya is upset because NeNe suggested she and Paul Judge might not get married over her fortune at the temple. She feels NeNe is belittling her relationship. NeNe continues screaming that she was shading everyone’s fortunes. The verbal abuse causes Tanya to burst into tears.
Obviously everyone rushes to defend NeNe while making fun of Tanya for having human emotions and a life beyond this culture of ‘shade’ which dominates Real Housewives Of Atlanta.
Tonight the Real Housewives Of Atlanta continue to celebrate Eva Marcille‘s bachelorette party in Tokyo, except things are far from a fun girls trip when NeNe Leakes gets left behind after being late to meet the tour bus.
It also seems like every second there’s a different fight! First NeNe’s argument with Tanya Sam spirals out of control, prompting NeNe to storm out of their lunch and take a taxi back to the hotel. Later, NeNe opens up to Cynthia Bailey about how much she is struggling to support Gregg. Things with NeNe go from bad to worse when she is left out of the next day’s activities.
Kon’nichiwa! Last night the Real Housewives Of Atlanta landed in Tokyo, Japan. Where they squabbled over semantics and blatantly disrespected the country’s culture, you know – the usual Real Housewives travel antics!
By the way the title of this recap “Shitsureidesu ne” means “How Rude” in Japanese. Only fitting, right.
