Peggy Sulahian’s decision to undergo a double mastectomy this past year has stirred up constant questions among the cast of The Real Housewives Of Orange County. Shannon Beador accused Peggy of telling two different stories regarding whether she actually had cancer or not, and just about everyone else was left even more confused when Peggy (and Diko) attempted to explain the specific circumstances surrounding her cancer status.
Peggy wants to set the record straight now, and she also wants her cast mates to back off. Regarding cancer, Peggy says, “I did have it. So when you’re questioning it, you’re still not understanding what I’m telling you.” She further describes the questioning she experienced as more of an “interrogation.”
It seems we can’t go for one season or even one episode with some sort of cancer-related drama on The Real Housewives of Orange County. Although this week it’s not about Brooks Ayers for once. Newbie Peggy Sulahian is addressing her breast cancer diagnosis and her frustration with two-faced co-stars.
Peggy shares in her blog that she feels Shannon Beador is weighed down by her marriage troubles and hopes she finds a way to cope, “Kelly may be onto something when she said that Shannon is frustrated about her marriage and her self-esteem is getting in the way. As women, we carry a heavy toll and when we get burdened down, many things fall apart. As the anchor to any family. Shannon needs to find some time for herself and deal with her issues.”
Peggy Sulahian is defending herself this week, explaining everything from her cancer diagnosis to her thoughts on the secrets of happy and long-lasting marriage. She also weighs in on her Real Housewives of Orange County co-star, Tamra Judge, and her long-lasting conflict with Vicki Gunvalson.
Peggy didn’t appreciate Tamra‘s “selectively reiterated” version of events to Eddie. She says Tamra made her look like the bad guy, but the whole thing isn’t worth her time. “My intention was to smoothen out the rocky patch between Vicki and Tamra, but I now understand that it’s not worth for me to involve myself.” She says that she was only trying to help and shouldn’t be bashed for that.
Kelly Dodd has found herself between a rock and a hard place. That rock is Vicki Gunvalson, her old pal; and the hard place is Shannon Beador, the enemy she’s now bonded with. I mean Kelly saved Shannon from Stockholm Syndrome at the hands of Tamra Judge.
After dedicating her blog to the people of Houston, Kelly launches right into breaking down the Real Housewives Of Orange County drama. One such gem is Kelly’s observation that, “If Peggy has resting bitch face, then Tamra definitely has chronic bitch mouth.” True! “I didn’t understand why Tamra said she wanted to give Peggy a second chance,” continues Kelly, “then insults her by saying she has a ‘resting bitch face’?”
