Y’all, Lala Kent, the woman who brings a baby bottle as her comfort item on group trips and openly trades sexual favors for luxury goods and services, has offered encouraging words to Luann de Lesseps about her sobriety journey.
After sloppily resisting arrest in December of 2017, Lu was offered probation in lieu of (get it?? in “Lu” of???) jail time. As part of her probation, Lu was prohibited from drinking. However, on May 23, after she admitted to consuming “2 glasses of mimosas” (suuure, Lu) after one of her cabaret shows. Luann entered into another plea deal involving intensive out-patient rehab. Lala has publicly and openly dealt with her own struggles with alcohol abuse. Lala also publicly credits Alcoholics Anonymous for saving her life. Lala, I don’t think “anonymous” means what you think it means.
Tom Schwartz is many things, one of the best men to the wedding of the year, defender of enemy number one and wife Katie Maloney, bar owner to one of the hottest new spots with pal Tom Sandoval, Mumu wearer, homeowner, and now he can add hero (depends on your definition of hero).
One smart and some might say ballsy fan sent the reality star a Venmo request for $50 for his/her commute to his bar Tom Tom.
Billie Lee came onto the scene as the first, and so far only, transgender member of the Vanderpump Rules gang. The past season was wrought with
being drunk constant fighting and everyone forming teams. Billie found herself on the wrong side of Lala Kent, but she wasn’t alone. She also found herself going up against the Witches of WeHo, who generally operate on the “kick ’em while they’re down” policy.
But sometimes it can be more than your average alcoholic fighting. Viewers watched as drama stemmed from loss and heartache, and many craft cocktails. Billie found herself engaged in several arguments that took her back to a very dark place. Fortunately she found help through an unlikely source, and proves that maybe people do grow up after all.
John Sessa doesn’t like two things. People slamming Lisa Vanderpump and buttoning his shirt. Being the executive officer of Vanderpump Dogs explains his ire when someone goes up against the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star, but his chest exposure remains a mystery. Obviously, John had a vested interest in the disgrace behind #puppygate, because dog rescue is his life’s mission. He has not only been Lisa’s right hand man in the fight for animal rights, he has been her biggest supporter since the drama unfolded.
Many people think we’ve heard too much from John lately. But let’s face it, there aren’t a lot of people in LVP’s corner. Because the series of events focused on dog rescue, of course he would be involved. John continues to defend
his meal ticket Lisa V., and maintain her innocence against the dreaded Puppygate Girl Gang.
This season of Vanderpump Rules showed the complete undoing of James Kennedy and Lala Kent’s friendship. The former best friends who stood up against the mean girls club of Katie Maloney, Kristen Doute, and Stassi Schroeder, had finally fallen apart. Lala had flipped sides and joined the witches of WeHo, leaving her friendship with James behind her.
This move also impacted Lala’s relationships with James’ girlfriend Raquel Leviss, and SUR’s queen of brunch, Billie Lee. Lala turned on all of them. She viciously attacked Raquel, James and Billie during a brunch at SUR. And she went after Billie at Scheana Marie’s housewarming party. One would think that any sort of friendship with Lala would be beyond repair. Surprisingly, that is not the case.
The latest Vanderpump Rules reunion turned into the Everyone Hates James Kennedy three-part special. Almost the entire cast of the show had it out for him. You would think he had kidnapped all of their firstborns. But it all boiled down to James rapping about Jax Taylor cheating, and a fat shaming comment to Katie Maloney, that united the cast against him.
The only cast members to stick up for him during the reunion were Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, and Raquel Leviss. Which is not a surprise, as Raquel is James girlfriend. And Tom has been a vocal advocate for James all season. He even confronted Katie and called her a bully. But where was James’ other supposed ally, Scheana Marie, in all this mess?
Welcome to Summer House where double standards are alive and well. According to Kyle Cooke, Paige Desorbo has been leading Carl Radke on for 2 months. If Paige has been leading Carl on then what was he doing to Lauren Wirkus for 2 summers straight? The hypocrisy is hard for me to wrap my head around. Then I remember I’m watching 35ish-year-old men act like 21 year olds. At this point, the visiting Vanderpump Rules crew seem more mature than the Summer House. Not sure who that says more about.
Before the night comes to a close, Hannah Berner and Jordan Verroi have a private chat on the patio. Hannah has hit her boiling point and I don’t blame her. For the last 2 months, Jordan has been elusive and hard to understand. She called him out for the outlandish stories and lies he continues to spew. What I love most about this house is even after a disagreement, they can put it aside and rage through the night. Paige leaves to go to Justin’s boat – I’d like a visual of this guy please and thank you.
The Vanderpump Rules crossover continues on tonight’s episode of Summer House. Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz, and Beau Clark will be around again for some summertime antics.
However, it seems like they will just be innocent bystanders to the drama that is already brewing among the Summer House cast.
