Our time in the Big Apple is over folks! Another season of The Real Housewives of New York is officially in the books. At times it was a disjointed mess, but no matter what the city that never sleeps is also the city that always delivers. Dorinda Medley’s anger issues are going to be a prominent focus for this final installment. The ladies are trying so hard to get her to face her issues head on, but she’s not having it.
Ramona Singer and Dorinda might be at the end of the road in their friendship. Neither has been impressed with the way the other has acted this season. 2020 must be the year for 20 year friendships to fall apart. It’s a shame that it has to happen like this. However, maybe for some of these friendships it’s for the best. In this kind of environment you can really see who has your back behind your back. Ramona is not a good friend. Period.
Despite a season of The Real Housewives of New York that felt unfocused and fueled by alcohol, this reunion is DELIVERING. All of the ladies have brought their A game for the first in person reunion in months. Dorinda Medley has been in the hot seat from the beginning because of her drinking and anger issues. The way she’s gone after Tinsley Mortimer has been jarring to say the least. What did this girl ever do to her?
Leah McSweeney is fed up with Ramona Singer. She can’t handle the double standards anymore. NEITHER CAN WE LEAH. We understand. The way Ramona has come for Leah at every turn about things she ignores in others is gross. What’s the difference? Please tell everyone Ramona. The world is all ears. It’s Dorinda’s final season, but shouldn’t it be Ramona’s as well?
Even though Dorinda Medley has been getting on my nerves this season every week when I watch Real Housewives of New York, it was still shocking to hear that she is gone from the show, especially since the current season didn’t even wrap yet. It seems premature to announce a casting change, but here we are.
We all saw how much more fun the ladies had when Dorinda wasn’t around. It was getting so frustrating to watch Dorinda mock the women and refuse to listen to what they were telling her. It just wasn’t entertaining, so it’s not surprising that she’s gone from the show, and, as per usual, I’m not buying that she “walked away” to “start a new chapter.
The Real Housewives of New York cast members gathered in Long Island, New York today to film the season 12 reunion IN PERSON! As we all know, this is a big deal (to reality TV fans) during the coronavirus pandemic among all of the virtual reunions.
They are probably still arguing at this point, but we did know some things about the reunion before even before the filming finished up. Elyse Slaine said she was not asked to be a part of the taping. Leah McSweeney is ready to face off against Ramona Singer. Tinsley Mortimer flew in from Chicago (and subsequently quarantined) in order to safely tape the reunion. Oh, and Ramona has an issue with Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan’s manners, which is just rich coming from Ramona of all people.
The Real Housewives of New York cast recently sat down with Andy Cohen to film the Season 11 reunion. Of course, the set was standard: Andy in the middle with one couch on each side of him.
However, it could easily be Luann de Lesseps on a barstool across from a giant sofa filled with the rest of the cast. Well, minus the segment that her girl Barbara Kavovit filmed. Barbara is a very loyal Luann apologist.
