A season like no other is finally coming to an end. The last chapter of Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is HERE. It’s felt like it’s been on forever. This is partly because of the never ending feud between Kenya Moore & Porsha Williams. It’s time to simply realize these two will NEVER get a lot. It’s not going to happen. There’s no amount of mediating in the world that will bring these two together as friends.
The last part of the reunion will probably put a spotlight on what went wrong for those two this season. They started off rocky and ended in an even worse place. However, they aren’t the only two constantly add odds. Taking a similar trajectory as Kenya & Porsha, Drew Sidora & LaToya Ali immediately clashed as well. The bad blood is very real between those two.
Say what you want about the season, but the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion is DELIVERING. These ladies are firing on all cylinders and are out for blood in the dungeon. The moment LaToya Ali stepped onto the stage at the end of last week’s episode, it was game on. She and Drew Sidora are about to go ten rounds in the battle of the newbies. They both practically carried the second half of the season. Fans owe them a deep debt of gratitude.
With Marlo Hampton finally appearing during this part of the reunion, the fireworks are sure to continue. There’s a lot to unpack with the fallout of she and Porsha Williams ending their friendship. What was the actual cause of it? Would Porsha really scrap the friendship because Marlo reunited with Kenya Moore? That has to be the most petty thing of all time. Anyone should be able to be friends with whomever they wish. STOP with the fakery.
The first part of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion episodes was pretty explosive and downright sexy. The RHOA ladies returned to the dungeon to talk all the drama this season. We finally learned who, or what, was in Tampa waiting for Ralph Pittman while he ghosted Drew Sidora. Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore had their typical back and forth. And Cynthia Bailey sat there silent the entirety of the episode. She honestly should’ve pulled a Mary Cosby and just gone to sleep, we wouldn’t have noticed.
Kenya also addressed her controversial Halloween costume, which Bravo did not condone because it was cultural appropriation. She tried to bring up that she had Native American heritage and threw Drew under the bus, and the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. Everyone should just dress as a dead mermaid like LaToya Ali and then there won’t be any problems. This may be the one instance where Toya isn’t the problematic one.
Aside from the Bolo of it all, the current Real Housewives of Atlanta season wasn’t as drama-filled as years past. Sure, NeNe Leakes has burned bridges with Bravo, Andy Cohen, and most of her former co-stars, but the woman always gave us something to
complain about talk about.
Once again, Kenya Moore carried the season on her back (in terms of drama) with newbies Drew Sidora and LaToya Ali trying their best to make some waves. During the reunion, Kenya and Drew got into it multiple times. Meanwhile, Cynthia Bailey didn’t say much else other than “Hi Andy.” How is she a part of the Real Housewives All Stars season? Can someone explain that one?
Sometimes there is that one celebrity who wasn’t hashtag blessed with a dialogue filter. Or any accurate perception of reality. Case in point, still-employed-for-now, NeNe Leakes. Real Housewives of Atlanta viewers are well aware of NeNe’s explosive personality.
Season 12 was not all peaches and champagne for NeNe. Hell, she wasn’t even around for the first few episodes after getting checked for her attitude. NeNe claimed to be on a “spiritual journey”, but I’m not sure it took. She was still volatile. Still plagued by jealousy. And NeNe kept up with her favorite role, victim. You might think NeNe plateaued as the martyr of RHOA when she complained about caring for her husband during cancer treatment. Now she has surpassed even that. In an effort to explain her disastrous appearance on the reunion, NeNe likened herself to an unarmed black man murdered by a police officer. Yep, she went there.
During the latest episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, NeNe Leakes walked out. It’s unclear if that is the end of her time on the reunion or if she will be back for more fighting on part 3.
The season 12 reunion concludes with one more episode. And that means we will have to sit through yet another Yovanna Momplaisir appearance. No one cares about Yovanna. Bravo just needs to stop trying to make Yovanna happen. No one wants to see her. Ever.
The current Real Housewives of Atlanta season started out with NeNe Leakes‘ absence, from multiple episodes. People, i.e. Kenya Moore, wondered if this meant NeNe was getting phased out of the show. NeNe and Kenya have been shading each other and downright insulting each other all season long.
They went toe to toe during the first two episodes of the reunion. However, NeNe just disappeared during the second episode. And since it’s a virtual reunion, she’s at her home without production. She’s not even in the preview for the final episode. Does that mean she doesn’t come back? It’s unclear at this point, but Kenya has a lot to say about it, as expected.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta virtual reunion continues tonight with part two. Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams discuss where their friendship went wrong. At the start of Season 12, Porsha and Kenya were on the same page and their friendship was super enjoyable to watch after their years of feuding. Even their adorable daughters played together. Then, things somehow went left and the shift in their dynamic was pretty unclear.
However, their short-lived friendship never had a chance as soon as Porsha made up with NeNe Leakes during the cast trip in Greece. NeNe and Kenya are sworn enemies. So, any hope of Kenya and Porsha returning to a new place was basically crushed as soon as Porsha and NeNe made up. So, of course, NeNe jumps in on this discussion and gets into another heated discussion with Kenya during tonight’s episode.
