The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast recently filmed the season 10 reunion. Lisa Rinna said it was “bullshit,” attributing blame to those cease and desist letters that Denise Richards sent to the cast and crew. Reunion host Andy Cohen disagreed with her sentiments, of course.
After filming, Denise and Garcelle Beauvais unfollowed Lisa. Denise also unfollowed Teddi Mellencamp and Erika Jayne. I don’t blame her for unfollowing Teddi though. I would have just done that based on the excessive workout posts alone. It’s assumed that the reunion was filmed just like the other recent Bravo reunions, with everyone filming separately from the safety of their homes.
However, Kyle Richards posted a photo post-filming with Erika, Teddi, Dorit Kemsley (wearing Louis Vuitton pajamas), and Lisa. Did they just get together after the fact? I would love to know about the logistics of this filming situation, but we will probably have to wait on that.
We are now in the Brandi Glanville half of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season, which has been teased for way too many months. Brandi returned to RHOBH during last week’s episode.
At this point, it’s unclear how much we will hear about Brandi’s alleged hookup with Denise Richards, especially since Denise sent out cease and desist letters to the cast and crew. Brandi didn’t even make the cut for the reunion taping. So does that mean the topic will be skipped completely?
The alleged Denise Richards and Brandi Glanville hookup has been highly hyped up long before the current Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season even started. Brandi insists that she and Denise hooked up. Meanwhile, Denise is adamant that it didn’t happen. She even sent cease and desist letters to the cast and crew.
So, does that mean the topic was banned from discussions during the recent Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion taping? That’s what Lisa Rinna implied. She also posted many passive-aggressive Instagram Stories about Denise. It’s safe to say their 20-year friendship is dunzo.
There were many unanswered questions when Real Housewives of Beverly Hills concluded Season 9. Literally though, the women refused to address almost anything remotely personal; i.e. lawsuits, plastic surgery, and finances.
The only that that was very clear is that Camille Grammer is on the outs with the RHOBH ladies. Sure, she got a long hug from latex-clad Lisa Rinna. But, other than that, bridesmaid Kyle Richards sided with Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave against Camille, which didn’t surprise Camille, since she declared that Teddi is “up Kyle’s ass.” Camille and Denise Richards’ had strong tension that came out of nowhere. And then there’s Erika Jayne, who doesn’t seem to care about
anything Camille at all. Camille was really marching into the lions den when she showed up to film, but it turns out she was already very much excluded before the reunion taping.
Even though all of the full-time Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members are on the outs with Lisa Vanderpump, the end of her relationship with Kyle Richards stings the most. They were the two remaining OG cast members. Now, Kyle is the sole original remaining (as a full-time cast member, anyway), with Erika Jayne crowning her as the “queen” of the cast during the Season 9 reunion.
Many fans (adamantly) took sides in the Lisa vs. Kyle feud. Meanwhile, others wanted them to get back to the fun times they use to have
teaming up against other cast members. Reunion host and Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen is rooting for a reconciliation and he thinks he know what it will take for them to get back on good terms.
Denise Richards gave Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans some much-needed comic relief this season, but not much else. She told Camille Grammer to back off while she was wearing a fur coat and an Agency hat during the finale, but other than that, Denise had zero conflict this season.
Well, until the reunion. She and Camille randomly went at it. Camille said she didn’t like Denise and that she was boring this past season. Denise asked if Camille was “on something” during the taping. Then, Camille wondered if Denise was “on something” during a recent Watch What Happens Live appearance. In response, Denise took to Twitter to make a shocking claim about the RHOBH OG.
Oh friends, we have finally, finally said farewell to this interminable season of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. And wow can I just say this show is in peril and I don’t like a single one of them! Part 3 of the reunion was largely a waste of time, so I’m going to spend this recap discussing the RHOBH in general.
There’s not much that can be said about this group except that the lack of awareness and (here comes Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave‘s favorite word!) accountability is astounding. Camille Grammer had it right when she hissed, “Hypocrisy at its finest!”
As the woman all all sat up there railing against Lisa Vanderpump for being manipulative and shielding parts of her life from the cameras, not a single one of them admitted to doing the same thing. So when Kyle Richards decided not to confront Dorit Kemsley about what really happened with Lucy, or confront Teddi about the inconsistencies in her stories and involvement, and instead completely deflected everything onto Lisa? Kyle wasn’t ‘manipulating’?
We have finally reached the end of the road with season 9 of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. The reunion concludes with part 3 tonight, and I still find it hilarious that, Camille Grammer, the person who caused the most drama this season isn’t even an official Housewife. What does that say about the status of this show with this cast? (FAIL)
Part 2 of the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills reunion left off with Camille storming off the stage after accusing the women of a set-up. Following a pep talk from Andy Cohen an emotional Camille returns to the stage to confront her issues with Denise Richards. Denise lectures Camille for not thinking before she speaks and causing damage to her relationships with being thoughtless.
