Real Housewives Of New York Recap: Living It, Feeling It, & Breathing It

Leah McSweeney reached her breaking point on last week’s episode of Real Housewives of New York. Her grandmother’s declining health is taking a grand toll on her. It’s causing Leah to lash out at everything and everyone in her path. Heather Thomson picked the wrong time to be shady and stir the pot. It’s clear Heather is purposely trying to illicit a reaction from Leah. However, Leah’s barrage of rage was disproportionate to Heather’s actions.

Everyone has an opinion about Leah & Heather. Everyone wants to take a side. However, which of these Queen Bee’s is actually going to come out on top? Heather might not be sticking around beyond this weekend, but does that make Leah the victor? How do you define a winner in a nasty feud like this? It’s clear these women have a deep disdain for one another already. It all comes down to this episode. Holla!

Leah McSweeney Real Housewives Of New York

Whew! This season of The Real Housewives of New York has wasted no time diving into the drama deep end. Ending last week’s episode with Luann de Lesseps kicking Eboni K. Williams out of her home was shocking. Nobody saw that coming. The fight was initially about Leah McSweeney, but things quickly spiraled out of control. Hopefully Luann’s able to understand where she went wrong, and important conversations can be had to create change.

Heather Thomson’s presence on this vacation to The Hamptons is triggering Leah. This is a powder keg waiting to explode. These two women are not vibing in any way, shape, or form. Something is going to give when it comes to these two. They started off in a rocky place on the trip, but things gradually got a bit better. That is no more. No more pleasantries between the two. This show might only be big enough for one of these Queen Bees.

Eboni K. Williams Real Housewives Of New York

Heather Thomson returned to the Real Housewives of New York and entered the lion’s den. She had no idea what she was walking into. Leah McSweeney made it her mission to confront Heather for negative comments about the group in the press. It is quite courageous of Heather to even show up knowing she dragged most of the group. She managed to play it mostly cool at dinner, but it’s probably far from over.

Ramona Singer is suddenly so close to Heather which feels entirely out of left field. Given Leah’s rocky relationship with Ramona, this is going to do nothing but fuel the fire. There are two wannabe Queen Bee’s in the mix now, and only one can stand tall in the end. Will it be Leah or will it be Heather? It’s going to come down to who the group has more loyalty to. Technically we know what happens, but isn’t the fun in the journey?

Heather Thomson Real Housewives Of New York

SHE IS FINALLY BACK. Heather “Hey Mama” Thomson is making her grand return. With Heather, you either love her or hate her. There is no in between. She has A LOT to own up to after speaking negatively in the press about her former costars. Leah McSweeney will make sure of that. The Real Housewives of New York may have been wild when Heather was previously in the group. However, their antics are on an entirely new level since she exited the show. Good luck!

When we last saw Sonja Morgan, she was in a full alcohol induced spiral. Her obsession with her former family is becoming more unhealthy every season. The attachment is misplaced and is doing her quite a bit of harm. She even shoved her bestie Ramona Singer! Ramona is a lot of things, but she doesn’t deserve someone putting their hands on her. Something has to come to a head with her. Will she ever get on a better path? Let’s hope so.

Real Housewives Of New York Recap: An Intoxicating Love Affair With The Past

It feels so good to have our girls from The Big Apple back. This season of The Real Housewives of New York is already off to a great start. Eboni K. Williams has been an incredible addition so far. After Ramona Singer’s comment about “the help” on last week’s episode, Eboni plans on confronting her. Good for Eboni for taking it upon herself to hold that woman accountable. Between her and Leah McSweeney, we might see a change in Ramona this season.

Hopefully the women can get through to Sonja Morgan and learn what’s troubling her. She’s felt distant from everyone this season, and she seems on the verge of spiraling. Ramona & Luann de Lesseps wants to learn the root of the distance, but Sonja isn’t spilling. This trip could be their way in to learn what’s actually going on in her head. The last thing anyone wants is a full fledged spiral from Sonja. Fingers crossed things start to change.

Leah McSweeney Real Housewives Of New York

The ladies of the Real Housewives of New York are back and better than ever. The addition of Eboni K. Williams has breathed new life into a stale franchise. Leah McSweeny was a decent newbie last season, but Eboni is “IT”. It remains to be seen what her full dynamics with the rest of the group will be. She and Leah bonded almost immediately, but there will undoubtedly be clashing with the other women.

One thing that stood out on the premiere episode of RHONY was the animosity toward Sonja Morgan. Why do Ramona Singer & Luann de Lesseps suddenly have such deep contempt for her? What exactly did Sonja do wrong? If she wants to distance herself from the rest of the group for a while, so be it. Why crucify her for taking some personal time? This unholy alliance between Luann & Ramona is going to be the wildcard this season.

Ramona Singer

Ramona Singer’s outlasted everyone to be the longest running Real Housewives of New York cast member. We don’t know how she did it, but she’s still going strong. Heading into her 13th season is no small feat. Not many Housewives can claim to have done the same. In the past, Ramona doesn’t vibe too well with the new faces of the group. It makes you wonder if Ramona is going to have the same apathy toward newbie Eboni Williams.

Eboni’s first season is upon us, and everyone’s waiting to see how she vibes with the other women. It’s only natural to assume Ramona won’t take kindly to another new woman in the group. She had quite a difficult time adjusting to Leah McSweeney’s explosive arrival last season. From what it looks like, Leah & Eboni probably have more in common. Surely, they’re going to bond quicker than Ramona could ever do with Eboni. Don’t be so sure about that.

WHAT ARE WE DOING HERE WITHOUT DORINDA? As sad as it will be to not have Dorinda Medley anymore, it’s still exciting to have the Real Housewives Of New York back again. They make everything feel right in the world. This will be their first pandemic season, so hopefully they’re still bringing their A-game. This season will also mark the debut of Eboni Williams. She makes history as the first black cast member on RHONY. Historic!

What will the dynamics be with a cast this small? Somehow Ramona Singer is still kicking as the longest running full-time New York housewife. She’s teasing some epic drama this season as well between Leah McSweeney and a returning Heather Thomson? The anticipation is too much to find out who allegedly assaulted Heather! Could you imagine coming back to the show only to be assaulted? This season has the potential to deliver in every single way.
