After a long, protracted, repetitive, and drawn-out season, Vanderpump Rules ended where it always does – in the beginning, with a tale of woe of Jax Taylor and Stassi Schroeder; two ships crossing in the night during a tsunami. Jax and Stassi didn’t have drama together (although Jax was gobsmacked by seeing Patrick in the flesh), but the epicenter of this show has always been Jax and Stassi.
Honestly it should because they’re both tragicomic heroes. Two people so miscalculating in their own effects, yet squandering so much potential that it almost makes me feel bad for them. All the characters on this show are like that to a degree, but none so poignantly as Jax or Stassi, one, a star-crossed failure, and the other a star-crossed hater who idealizes murder because she can’t confront her own painful insecurities.
Say what you want about James Kennedy, but no one can deny that he always brings the entertainment on Vanderpump Rules. The self-proclaimed “White Kanye West” is constantly defending himself from cheating accusations, blessing the fandom with original music, or saying something hilarious.
James opened up about which Real Housewives cast members he would collaborate with and his thoughts on all of the major story lines this season on Vanderpump Rules.
As annoying as it has been, it’s going to be tough letting go of Scheana Marie and Rob Valletta’s relationship next season on Vanderpump Rules. Scheana’s constant bragging about Rob (and his ability to hang a television in less than 7 seven minutes) has been surprisingly entertaining.
Scheana and the 7-minute man split up after Season 6 finished filming. Now she is dishing on both the breakup and the Rob-sessed bragging that the viewers were subjected to all season long.
Even though she has been on Vanderpump Rules since Season 1, Scheana Marie has always been an outsider among the cast members. Scheana is either trying to gain the friendship and approval of Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, and Katie Maloney or talking shit about them with nothing in between.
It seemed like Scheana finally found her own close friends in Ariana Madix and Lala Kent, but now that the two of them are on better terms with the Witches of WeHo- aka Stassi, Kristen, and Katie- how does Scheana feel about that? Scheana and Ariana are still cool, but that is not the case for Scheana and Lala. Not only that, but Scheana credits herself for getting Lala back on the show after she walked away from it during Season 5.
After Scheana Marie’s now-ex Rob Valletta told Jax Taylor and Tom Sandoval that he does not say “I love you,” Jax shared that with the rest of the Vanderpump Rules cast. Scheana decided to get revenge on Jax by setting up SUR employee Adam Spott with Jax’s girlfriend Brittany Cartwright.
Scheana admitted several times on camera that the move was out of spite, but later backtracked and said she wanted Brittany to realize there are other guys in the world aside from Jax. Jax is far from the model boyfriend, but why would she try to fix up someone who is already in a relationship? Oh right, to stir the pot.
At this point in the current Vanderpump Rules season, Stassi Schroeder has more controversy off-screen than she does on the actual show. She’s come under fire for some of her podcast comments. Stassi received a great deal of backlash after describing her outfit as “Nazi chic.”
So far, Stassi’s biggest drama this season was her birthday party freak out and tearful apology to Katie Maloney and Kristen Doute the next day. Even so, she’s had some great on-camera interview commentary this year and she directed a lot of shade toward the Rob-sessed Scheana Marie.
The fact that Brittany Cartwright is dating Jax Taylor and she is good friends with Jax’s most significant ex-girlfriend, Stassi Schroeder, is something that will never cease to entertain me. That’s why I was happy that the two of them joined Andy Cohen in the clubhouse to discuss Vanderpump Rules on Watch What Happens Live.
The two dished on Scheana Marie’s constant chatter about her now-ex-boyfriend Rob Valletta, Scheana meddling in Brittany’s relationship, and Stassi’s new man Beau Clark.
As if Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright haven’t been through enough this season on Vanderpump Rules, Brittany took a pregnancy test and shared that with the reality show cameras.
Now their costars Scheana Marie and Ariana Madix are weighing in on Jax’s potential as a father and of course Scheana is discussing (but not actually refuting) the
exaggerations comments she has made about now-ex-boyfriend Rob Valletta.
