90 Day Fiance

The 90 Day Fiance franchise is still going strong after multiple seasons and spinoffs.  There’s something very entertaining about watching love span borders and cultures.  And if it isn’t love, then it’s just a lot of delusion.  Thanks to international dating sites, every citizen of the globe has the chance of snagging a lonely American.  The real prize is the Green Card of course.

Of course, the premise for the show is that one partner travels internationally to meet the other.  And with the border closures, quarantines, and disrupted air travel due to coronavirus, there is no chance of filming for new seasons.  So while sweethearts pine for each other all over the world, TLC exec’s have come up with a solution to give us fans a much-needed hit.

90 Day Fiance Happily Ever After

Larissa Dos Santos Lima succeeded in extending her fifteen minutes of fame because of a legion of fans and followers.  After appearing on 90 Day Fiance and the spinoff 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After, her vivacious personality and love life piqued the interest of fans who watched her squabbles and unhappiness with ex-husband Colt Johnson.

Larissa flaunted Eric Nichols as her new boyfriend at the season reunion. The two dated for eight months before she dumped him on social media.  Eric got even by having dinner with Larissa’s ex-husband and his mother Debbie Johnson.  It was a cringe-worthy publicity stunt.  In November, the two reconciled but decided to remain friends.  Now, Larissa has shocked fans with her latest Instagram post.

90 Day Fiance Alums Jay Smith And Ashley Martson Are Back Together

It was reported that divorce cases in China spiked since the population was put into mandatory lockdown.  While the coronavirus quarantine has caused marital strife and heartache for the people of China, it seemed to have done wonders for estranged couples cast on  90 Day Fiance.  Maybe having an existential crisis really extends beyond the hoarding of toilet paper.  Maybe a health scare can inspire people to consider who or what is most important in their lives.

Earlier this week Tiffany Franco and Ronald Smith announced that they were giving their relationship another chance.  Now, the series most dysfunctional couple has been dropping major hints that they’re back together.  Of course the mystery duo is Ashley Martson and Jay Smith.  And if anyone is still interested in keeping track of all the reasons why these two are toxic together, here’s a quick rundown.  In their time together, Ashley filed for divorce twice and put a restraining order on Jay.  Jay opened a Tinder account as soon as they got married and was caught cheating at his place of employment.  Though he insists the infidelity was a production setup.  And after announced that she was done with Jay once and for all, Ashley has let the Jamaican native back into her life.

90 Day Fiance The Other Way

Tiffany Franco and Ronald Smith became fan favorites from their season on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way.  They were just too darn cute together, we let our hopes for their relationship overshadow all the potential obstacles.  Ronald was in recovery for a gambling addiction when Tiffany flew to South Africa for filming. She also had her son Daniel to think about.  And those housing complex high voltage wires were certainly a game-changer.

Tiffany decided not to stay in South Africa and returned to the US with Daniel.  She was also pregnant by Ronald and gave birth to their daughter Carley in July of 2019.  Since then, they’ve been long-distance and that proved unsustainable.  They split up in a very messy way in January when Ronald accused Tiffany of infidelity.  But some surprising social media posts earlier this month indicate that these two don’t want to give up on each other just yet.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Recap: The Great Unknown

Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way, demonstrated why those who fail to plan actually just plan to fail. It’s even more interesting that some of these people actually “planned” the circus that has become their lives. Tiffany Franco and Ronald Smith have big news.

Deavan Clegg leaves for South Korea, despite her concerns that Jihoon Lee isn’t prepared for a family. Karine Staehle is trying to figure out a way to get rid of her husband. I can’t say I blame her, it is Paul Staehle! Let’s recap the shit show 90 Day Fiance The Other Way.

90 Day Fiancé The Other Way Recap: Blind Trust

Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Waymade it clear that most of these people don’t trust their significant othersWhat is the point of leaving all your comfort at home to go to another country and be miserable? Sorry, give me air conditioning and someone I can easily locate. These people are ridiculous! One couple gets into a huge fight while home shopping. Meanwhile, another comes to the realization that they are no longer in America. I am reporting for petty duty and hope you all will join me.  It’s about time that we get to the bottom of some things.

It’s the day of the wedding and Tiffany Franco is stressed out wondering if her fiance, Ronald Smith will return from picking up her dad. Let’s hope Relapse Ronnie doesn’t rear his ugly so soon. I don’t know why Tiffany would risk Ronald’s sobriety just to keep his secret from her dad. Luckily Ronald decides to save his urges for another day and accomplishes his mission. Girl… you know as soon as you get on his nerves he will find his way into that casino again.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Recap: Rolling the Dice

Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way, was packed with revelations. Several of the couples have to face some hard facts about their relationships. Ronald Smith confronted his demons sooner than he expected. Laura Jallali offended Aladin Jallali in a BIG way. Corey realized that he and Evelin have two very different visions for their future. Sumit made a difficult decision that leaves Jenny reeling. Grab your stone cocktail and let’s start judging!

Paul Staehle and Karine Staehle finally arrived at her family home in the amazon after their five-day voyage at sea. Not to be a first world snob but…. Yea I don’t think I would give up my little conveniences for some of these small towns in these countries. Paul is extremely nervous about living with Karine’s family.  Maybe the fact that he can only communicate via a phone app could have something to do with it. Then you add the fact he has to reveal to he is considered a terrorist, it’s a wonder that he hasn’t had full-blownwn anxiety attack. The man walks around with mosquito nets and bulletproof baby bags, they shouldn’t be too shocked.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Recap: Ripped Apart

On last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way, we saw how the Americans are adjusting to life in their significant other’s countries. I have to say most aren’t faring well. Is the prerequisite for meeting and marrying a person in a short amount of time from another country that you don’t ask any questions? I swear most of these people are shocked by the conditions of their new homes. Did you not video chat or do any research? Delusional and unprepared isn’t a good mix. Let’s break down this episode and the lives of naive and restless.

Tiffany Franco and her son, Daniel are still in South Africa. After exploring, Tiffany and Ronald Smith are shocked Daniel wants to go back to the US. Hmmm…. Maybe it’s because you told him that he could be kidnapped and could never use electronics in public. Yea, I think that would be enough for most 8-year-olds to be done with any place. Tiffany, maybe you should have really thought about how this move would affect your son. While at dinner, Daniel questions why Ronald can’t just come to America. He realizes very quickly his mother is hiding something from him. Little does he know his “dad” has a criminal history and addiction problems. SMH….
