It seems like Tamra Judge and Simon Barney were married a whole lifetime ago. When Tamra first joined Real Housewives of Orange County, she and Simon were all about the PDA. Their biggest issue was Simon’s tension with Ryan Vieth, Tamra’s oldest son from a previous marriage.
Then we saw Simon, Tamra, and Vicki Gunvalson have a heated discussion at one of the season finale parties. In a limo on the way home, Tamra told him they were getting a divorce and that was that. Well, not really. Simon didn’t sign off to let their kids film RHOC. Their son Spencer Barney only reappeared when he turned eighteen and was able to sign his own paperwork. Their daughter Sidney Barney moved out of Tamra’s house to live with Simon full-time. And, of course, there is that infamous longstanding feud between Tamra and Sidney. All Sidney wants is for Tamra to stop talking about her on the show. However, Tamra can’t help talking about how she can’t talk about Sidney on the show, which constitutes talking about Sidney on the show, obviously. The whole thing could just be so simple, but it isn’t. Were the RHOC cameras rolling when Tamra and Simon reunited with their daughter for a school dance? Probably not, but that would have been very interesting.
