Even though her marriage only lasted for seven weeks, it took forever for Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi to get divorced. Nevertheless, it is officially official! Finally! GG and Shalom Yeroushalmi can go their separate ways!
And, hopefully, she will stop wearing that engagement ring and truly put this whole relationship behind her! Fingers crossed!
If it seems like the drama surround Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi’s divorce is longer than her marriage itself, that’s because it is. During the last Shahs of Sunset episode, GG debated selling or keeping the ring. So of course Andy Cohen polled the Watch What Happens Live viewers to see if GG should sell it, keep it, or give it back to Shalom Yeroushalmi. He also had Mercedes “MJ” Javid in the Bravo clubhouse to weigh in on the poll and all of the other Shahs of Sunset drama.
MJ told Andy, “She shouldn’t give it back because they got married, so there’s that.” Andy pointed out, “She was married for like three weeks.” Nevertheless, MJ insisted, “I think if you cancel the engagement, then you have to give it back.” Alright then.
Season 7 of Shahs of Sunset is chock full of shade. Most of these cast members have been in each other’s lives since high school so they know exactly how to rile each other up and exactly where all of the bodies are buried. Three episodes in and there’s already a lot of drama between the cast members. Just imagine how the rest of the season will go. There’s no warming up with this cast. They just get into the dramatics right away.
During the last episode alone, Mercedes “MJ” Javid and Reza Farahan invited Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi’s ex-husband’s other ex-wife to a party…. and announced her presence in front of a crowd while they were on stage holding microphones. Talk about doing the most. Clearly they were determined to have some entertaining story lines this year and I’m not mad about it. Not only that but Reza majorly shaded Mike Shouhed for “only dating” hoes which did not sit well with Mike. Mike responded to that comment by shading Reza’s marriage when he and GG appeared on last night’s episode on Watch What Happens Live.
The great thing about Shahs of Sunset is that most of the people in this cast have known each other for decades before they ever started filming this show. This means that they have genuine relationships, strong chemistry, and most importantly they know exactly where all the bodies are buried.
Mercedes “MJ” Javid and Reza Farahan have known each other since high school and they have a very interesting past, even though MJ will not fully admit it. Even though they are both married and Reza is interested in men, the two of them had sex back in the day.
The breakup and divorce proceedings between Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi and Shalom Yeroushalmi are longer than the actual marriage (and the relationship as a whole). I have no idea how two people who were barely together can drag out a divorce to this extent, but it’s happening.
The Shahs of Sunset star and the perpetual reality TV dater got engaged (and married) months into their relationship, got married at the courthouse, broke up within two months, got back together, restraining orders entered the mix, and now they are proceeding with the divorce again. And by “now” I mean “as of this exact moment” because this breakup is constantly shifting and this post will be outdated by the time you get to the end of it.
Keeping up with Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi’s love life is a tough task. She got married to Shalom Yeroushalmi out of nowhere. The marriage “ended” two months later. There was a lot of shit talking and social media shading.
Then they got back together. Shalom even appeared on the Shahs of Sunset reunion episode. But now things have taken (another) turn for the worse.
Here it is: a brand new round up of reality TV stars’ social media photos to kick off your weekend!
Above: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, and Kyle Richards looking as fierce as ever. Lisa posted the photo and captioned it with “Snatched”- enough said.
Well, another season of Shahs of Sunset has officially drawn to a close and instead of Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi ending up as the outcast of the season, instead we find Persian Pop Priestess and staple cast member, Asa Soltan Rahmati, exiled from this group of overgrown hooligans.
I think we all saw it coming when bestie/worstie of friends Reza Farahan didn’t exactly jump to Asa’s defense during her falling out with Mercedes “MJ” Javid over whether or not Asa used IVF to conceive her “miracle baby.” But let’s face it, MJ wasn’t really mad about Asa using IVF or not, she was really just pissed that Asa beat her to the punch when it came to having a kid. So MJ just found the weakest link in the Asa Chain (the fact that Asa isn’t forthcoming with all aspects of her life) and exploited it with the rest of the Shahs to get them on board with casting Asa aside. And it actually worked!
