On this episode of Atlanta Exes the women vacay in the Cayman Islands, bond over their similar experiences, and attempt to move forward with their lives.
The ladies meet for lunch at Amura Sushi Steak. Torrei has a male friend who says they can use his place in The Cayman Islands. Tameka Raymond wants to know if her friend is married. Where did that come from? Tameka doesn’t want to go to the Caymans because she has been there with her first husband. Sheree wants to swim with the dolphins. Tameka doesn’t want to. Torrei Hart wants to scuba dive. Tameka doesn’t want to do that either. No one is allowing Tameka’s negativity to put a damper on things they just let her be the Debbie Downer that she is and the show flows much better. Side Note: For people who don’t like each other, why are Tameka and Torrei always sitting right next to each other?
The ladies arrive to the white sands and blue waters of the Cayman Islands. Once at the house, with rum punch in hand, they begin the search for their bedrooms. Tameka says that the rooms have to face a certain way towards the looney bin. She also cannot sleep in a bunk bed. Torrei finds the master, but Tameka also has her eyes set on this room. Tameka settles on a room with double beds and everyone says how the room matches her because it is very “Zen.” Seriously???
On this week’s episode of Atlanta Exes, the ladies meet with a mediator to try to bring their ‘sisterhood’ back together. Torrei Hart launches her mixer, Skimpy Cocktail’s Cherry Limeade; and Christina Johnson makes a decision about her relationship with Willie.
This week we start off at the Glow and Dry beauty salon. Sheree Buchanan is there to get glowed and dried and Torrei meets her to discuss the ‘mix-up’ at Stir It Up. Torrei believes that she had every right to go in on Tameka Raymond like she did during the confrontation. According to Torrei, Tameka brought a knife to a gun fight. Torrei will shoot a person down, she was in the military. Relevance anyone??? Torrei is upset that Sheree didn’t say more during the confrontation. Sheree says that Tameka deflected. Tameka blocked her shot. Torrei says that Sheree let Tameka block her shot. It would seem that Sheree would have had the most to get off of her chest, given the accusation of sleeping with Tameka’s husband. I believe that because Torrei got so dirty in the argument that Sheree didn’t want to get any further involved.
This week on Atlanta Exes, the ladies are far from over the fallout at the Tea Market. Sheree Buchanan may have discovered the reason why Tameka Raymond has been throwing so many jabs her way. Monyetta Shaw reveals devastating information. If you thought the argument at the Tea market was bad, this week it is even worse.
The episode begins where it left off, at the Tea Market. Traci is still screaming; and Greg, Tameka’s assistant, is saying that he believes that Traci Steele and Torrei Hart came to the event to bring drama. Outside while talking to Greg and Brandon, Tameka’s assistants or her minions as Torrei calls them, Torrei takes jabs at Tameka’s career. She says that Tameka hasn’t styled anyone lately and has no sense of style. Tameka takes her style cues from the Kardashians. Noooo, *in my Kevin Hart voice,* she definitely would be lost if that was the case. Inside, Tameka vents to her sister. She calls Traci Steele and Torrei, “flat shoe” MFers. Tameka also says that she probably didn’t greet Torrei because Torrei looked like one of the Mongolian carpets, with that nappy ass shit in her head. “You were camouflaged, if you ask me,” Tameka says of Torrei and the carpets. Outside, Torrei complains to Traci that Tameka can’t keep using her son’s death as an excuse. Torrei says that Tameka was like that before her son died, and people around town were saying that it was karma that her son died because of the type of person she is/was. Side note –Personally, I can’t believe that anyone would say that, or that Torrei would be insensitive enough to repeat it, on national TV no less.
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their daily lives with us. And we love them for it! Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite photos from this week! Enjoy!

This week on Atlanta Exes, Monyetta Shaw and Christina Johnson decide that it is time to move on from their exes. Sheree Buchanan has had enough of Tameka Raymond and her jabs. There is a big blow-up at the Tea Market.
We start off with Sheree and Tameka at her house. Sheree is being very nice considering how Tameka has been treating her. Sheree brings up the jabs that Tameka has been throwing, and Tameka’s explanation for all of the jabs is that she says things before thinking because her brain moves so rapidly. Huh, say what. Okay, Bitter Einstein. So, let me get this straight. Tameka is basically saying, ‘I am correct in thinking those mean things about you. I probably shouldn’t say them, but you can’t fault me for that either because I only say them because my brain moves so much faster than everyone else’s, including yours.’ I think I got it, or maybe my brain doesn’t move that fast. *eye roll* Sheree offers to fix her up on a date. Tameka agrees as long as the guy’s pants aren’t sagging. Was that another jab? I’m trying to train my brain to keep up.
Atlanta Exes kicked off this week and the ladies celebrated the premiere with a private viewing party in Atlanta.
Monyetta Shaw, Sheree Buchanan, Torrei Hart, Christina Johnson, and Tameka Foster headed over to 10 Terminus Place to watch the first episode and hang out with friends and other Atlanta reality stars – like former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield and Married to Medicine’s Quad .
The premiere of Atlanta Exes was a win with viewers. The premiere episode kicked off with 2.275 million people tuning in. Which is more sets of eyeballs than The Real Housewives of New Jersey brings in nowadays!
TELL US – DID YOU WATCH? WHAT DID YOU THINK?
Atlanta Exes: Meet the New Ladies! This is the premiere episode of the spinoff of Hollywood Exes. This series introduces us to the exes of prominent men of Atlanta. So who are these newbies??? We have Monyetta Shaw, ex-fiancé to Ne-Yo, who is a singer, songwriter, and actor. Sheree Buchanan is the ex-wife of former pro-footballer Ray Buchanan. Torrei Hart is the ex-wife of Kevin Hart, comedienne and actor. Christina Johnson is the ex-wife of CeeLo Green, singer and coach on The Voice. And last but certainly not least, the former Mrs. Usher Raymond, Tameka Raymond. Usher is a very famous R&B singer. He has also tried his hand at acting, and coaching on the voice. He is also Justin Bieber’s mentor; I guess we can’t hold that against him. He has most recently called their marriage his “best mistake.”
We start at Tameka’s house that she once shared with Usher, and can I say that marrying well should be all the rage if it leads to houses like this. That house is the stuff of little girl and grown groupies’ dreams. Tameka gives us some background. She became Usher’s stylist in 2001. They married in 2007 after she divorced the husband she was cheating on. They went through a tumultuous divorce and a more recent custody battle which she lost. She has invited the women over for a packing party.
Atlanta Exes kicks off next week – and VH1 has released the cast photos and extended trailer for our viewing pleasure. Atlanta Exes features Torrei Hart (ex-wife of comedian Kevin Hart), Christina Johnson (ex-wife of CeeLo Green), Monyetta Shaw (ex-fiance of Ne-Yo), Tameka Raymond (ex-wife of Usher), and Sheree Buchanan (ex-wife of former NFL player Ray Buchanan).
“It is exciting that the continued success of Hollywood Exes has allowed us to expand this popular franchise into additional cities,” shares VH1‘s EVP Susan Levison. “Atlanta is truly enjoying a moment in the spotlight, so taking the Exes brand down South was a natural evolution. This dynamic cast truly defines what it means to be a ‘mover and shaker’ in the Atlanta social scene .”
VH1 promises us “fabulousness, ambition, love, and drama.” I’m anxious to see if this show fares well. Hollywood Exes has a small – but loyal – fan base. VH1 hasn’t promoted Atlanta Exes much, but reality shows based in Atlanta usually do well, so we shall see. Atlanta Exes premieres August 18 at 9 PM ET/PT on VH1. Meet the cast and watch the extended trailer below.
