It’s hard not to love anything that Nicole Polizzi does. Not only was she everyone’s favorite cast member on Jersey Shore, but she grew up, got her shit together, and somehow never became boring in the process.

As much as I love her, I never expected “Snooki” to parlay her Jersey Shore fame for as long as she has. My favorite thing about it is that Nicole seems to have a really great idea of who she is and doesn’t take herself too seriously. If anyone is in on the joke, it’s her. She made this clear with her latest project.

Nicole Polizzi Throws Joint Birthday Bash For Lorenzo And Giovanna – Photos

Lorenzo and Giovanna Birthday Party

If you told me five years ago that Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi would be a doting mother of two (not to mention a successful business woman) today, I would have laughed out loud. But, here we are.

Nicole welcomed her son, Lorenzo, in 2012 and her daughter, Giovanna, in 2014. Over the weekend, Nicole and Jionni LaValle threw a joint birthday party for Lorenzo and Giovanna at Ort Farms in New Jersey. Nicole went all out with a Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse theme and everyone at the party enjoyed the fall activities at the farm.

Roger Mathews and Jenni “JWoww” Farley attended the party with their daughter, Meilani. Check out pictures from Lorenzo and Giovanna‘s birthday party below. It’s refreshing to see real friends – a rarity among reality TV stars – enjoying family time together and parents letting kids be kids.

It’s very rare that I think a reality star makes a decision that’s not rooted in becoming more famous. Maturity seems sparse among them, and if you’d asked five years ago if I considered any of the Jersey Shore folks to be “mature” I would have laughed in your face after screaming “GTL, beeatches!”

My, how times have changed. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley became household names as they drunkenly face planted in the sand and fist pumped in the sluttiest of Shore Store apparel. Of course, over time, both girls fell in love and started families with the orangest of gorilla juiceheads. We got to see the progression on later seasons of Jersey Shore and on their tamer spin-off Snooki & JWoww. However, now the best friends are committed to raising their families off of MTV. Wait, what? Reality stars rejecting reality television? I can’t even.

Another first.. newlyweds Nicole and Jionni LaValle hosted Christmas Eve in their new home. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi And Jionni LaValle Married! No Prenup!

Snooki's Wedding Reception

It’s official — Jionni LaValle and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi are married. Jionni and Snooki got engaged in 2012, and they have since built their dream house and welcomed two beautiful children, Lorenzo and Giovanna, into the world.

Jionni and Snooki were married November 29 in a traditional ceremony at their church, St. Rose of Lima Church, followed by a “Great Gatsby” reception at the Venetian in New Jersey. Snooki’s former Jersey Shore co-stars Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Deena Cortese, and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola were in the wedding party.

Snooki wore two dresses, a traditional gown for the ceremony and a Gatsby-inspired dress (seen above) for the reception. Snooki and Jionni’s wedding will be featured on Snooki & JWoww. See more photos from the wedding below.

Snooki’s Wedding Rehearsal – Photos

Snooki Wedding Rehearsal

Over the weekend, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi celebrated her wedding rehearsal dinner and her 27th birthday.

About her upcoming wedding, she shared, “I always loved the ’20s era and the look of everything. Me and Jionni actually watched the movie together and it was actually Jionni’s idea to do a Great Gatsby theme wedding. We invited 300 people, but with everybody bringing a guest, it’s more like 400.” That’s a lot of people! And the wedding party includes 17 groomsmen, 15 bridesmaids, and 8 children, including Lorenzo and Giovanni.

Jionni and Snooki‘s wedding is rumored to be this Saturday, November 29th. Check out a few pictures from the rehearsal dinner below. In attendance were Snooki’s bestie Jenni “JWoww” Farley (of course) and former Jersey Shore stars Sammi Giancola and Deena Cortese.

I don’t think anyone is going to question whether these two babies are related!

Earlier this week our favorite grown-up guidette, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi shared an adorable snapshot comparing bug brother Lorenzo to his brand new baby sister Giovanna. (Can I just say how much I love the look on Giovanna’s face!! She must not love the camera as much as her mama!)

“Giovanna looks just like Lorenzo when he was born and you know the doctors put her on my stomach and I looked at her and said holy crap this looks like Lorenzo’s twin…”

They are almost identical! But that is not the only picture that the Snooki & JWoww star shared.

Photos: Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi Shows Off Her New Home!

Jionni LaValle and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi‘s time as basement dwellers has come to an end. Jionni, Snooki, and Lorenzo had been living in Jionni’s parents’ basement while waiting for their new house to be built. They bought land late 2012, construction began early 2013, and they moved in last month. Snooki‘s plan for her dream home included “a big playroom for the kids, a big backyard, a pool, and a big kitchen for Sunday dinners with the family.”

Unlike other reality TV stars who shall remain nameless, I believe Snooki has managed her money well and can legitimately afford her lovely new home. She’s come a long way since her days on Jersey Shore and built quite an impressive empire. Snooki’s products include clothing, sunglasses, slippers, fragrances, nail products, jewelry, tanning lotions, books, and more. Not to mention, Snooki and Jenni “JWoww” Farley are still on MTV on Snooki & JWoww.
